Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms. The staff is excellent, the valet is very prompt, the tea in the lobby is delightful. Breakfast at The Grille Room on the second is very good. The beignets are just ok, but not awful. The eggs Benedict were perfect. The waffles are hot and crispy. They also have good bacon. Lunch at the Polo Club is good, but they need to step up the food choices. The burger is atypical burger. The humus is tangy and good.

I had an amazing time having afternoon tea with friends. The scones, sandwiches and desserts were beautifully arranged and were delicious. The atmosphere is classy and quiet. I also tried the peach mango tea and a spritzer. This is a cute idea for a girls meetup.

I recently stayed at Windsor Court for a work conference with our clients and the space, location and service could not be more perfect! We had all of our client events around the hotel, on both the 2nd floor (location of the hotel restaurant - Grill Room) and the 4th floor (location of our conference rooms, right is next to the pool, which was very tempting!) First, the hotel and rooms were immaculate, my room specifically had a powder room, which I did not know was missing in my life! The room was clean and very comfortable, only issue I had was that the bed was too high for me! I struggled a bit getting in and out of bed. Second, the service was excellent. The staff took great care of us and all of our needs during the event. And lastly, the event space is spectacular! Especially where we had our conference meetings on the 4th floor. Truly perfect location and excellent hotel. Would highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay at the Windsor Court- The Grill Room needs to be updated as it is way past its prime. The bedding was wonderful. I'm sorry I didn't ask the concierge who makes the sheets. Maybe they will respond to this post. Also of note was the tea service on the concierge level- exceptional! One of the best high tea services I've ever had in the US.

The beds and linens were sumptuous

We almost couldn't have had a better stay. Opted for the splurge and went for club level, and got upgraded to a suite! The interior of this hotel is gorgeous, supposed to emulate it's namesake, Windsor Castle. The Club Level turns out to be not so pricey, when you consider they have a gorgeous buffet breakfast spread, full on high tea in the afternoon, open bar from 5:30- 8:00 with buffet snacks that could easily be dinner. Although in NOLA, you really should go out for dinner. The staff here is so genuinely pleasant and bends over backwards to accommodate every request. Special thanks to Kaomi and Christopher in the club level lounge. Met my long time friend here, who came in from NJ, and we're already thinking about planning a return in 2026. Oh and great view of the Mississippi out our window.

    Beautiful art throughout

Excellent stay, starting with very kind doormen and an upgrade to a suite, all the way through a delicious dinner at the Grill Room. Good housekeeping is nearly a thing of the past, but not here! Our room was reset so thoughtfully each day.

My favorite hotel TO DATE! My family6 and I traveled to New Orleans a couple months ago and had the pleasure of staying at The Windsor Court! This hotel spoke to my soul with all its beauty, art, and British accents. The Hotel has a Polo Club that offers drinks and nightly live jazz music. People can dance and just have a great time to chill. They also have The Grill Room on site. This is available to the public and guests. When I tell you the food was amazing.....AMAZING!!!! We had brunch during our stay and it was phenomenal. Even the kids enjoyed! We also had access to their exclusive lounge available to floors 20+ . Here they offer 24 hour snacks, breakfast, happy hour with food, and amazing views of the city! We honestly didn't need to eat away from the hotel because this lounge provided so much! The lounge was our kids favorite, because of the snacks and they made new friends! We enjoyed the drinks! The High Tea offering was also amazing! They have sandwiches and drinks for the kids and amazing offerings for adults! It was wonderful to be able to do so right at the hotel, we just had to make a reservation prior to. My daughter has since asked to go to Tea time again multiple times. There are many paintings, sculptures, and British inspired art throughout which was so unique. The room details such, the slippers, and robe, the hallways... all had a touch of British luxe that made you feel like you were in old royalty! This hotel is close to venues for kids like The Audobon Institute and Vue Orleans. It's also about a 10 minute walk to French Quarter, and 15 minute drive to The Childrens Museum. This was an amazing location! Parking was valet, and you really don't need to drive anywhere. Swimming pool offers cabanas and drinks. There's also a gym, and spa onsite! Overall amazing stay, and we can't wait to be back. This hotel is worth it!

Love Love Love the Windsor Court especially around the holidays. As soon as you walk up you are greeted right away and welcomed to the hotel. The lobby always has the best and prettiest fresh flowers and the Christmas tree is so beautiful. The service is impeccable and you will always enjoy the luxury experience. I love going to the bar Polo Club!!! Posh hotel lounge with dark-wood touches has upscale bar fare, cocktails & more than 600 wines.

The club level lounge at breakfast. What a view!

The Windsor Court is a proper Five-Star hotel in a category of its own in New Orleans. We came in for a drink at the lounge on a Friday evening expecting a more reserved crowd at a hotel in the CBD. What we found was one of the most lively and fun lounges we visited throughout our stay with a great band playing lively music and a wide array of well dressed people dancing and having a wonderful time. The bartender was like someone out of a streetcar named desire in the best way, expertly crafting cocktails and providing entertaining banter throughout the night. The lounge also had great bar snacks on multi level trays which are regularly brought out to the tables. After spending a night at a supremely disappointing hotel elsewhere we moved to the Windsor the next morning, and it was the best decision we made. From the instant we arrived every single thing was perfect - not one interaction we had with the staff was anything less than exceptional, with the concierge, front desk, spa, and bar staff all going out of their way to make our stay memorable. We didn't touch the front door once during our whole stay, the doormen and bellhops were more enthusiastically helpful than you ever see these days. We opted for the club level and we are glad we did, it ended up saving us $100+ per day with their included breakfast, drinks and refreshments throughout the day. The club level was also an ideal place to get some work done, enjoy the view from the terrace and have a chat with other guests. If you are considering this hotel, stop thinking and book it. You won't regret one moment you spend in this place.

One of my favorite moments was chatting with a gentleman in the lobby who helped with our luggage. We mentioned we were visiting from Pennsylvania, and he shared that his very first job was in Pennsylvania and actually knew our area. It was one of those authentic conversations that makes you feel more like a guest than just another room number. Our room in the older section was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Housekeeping and the nightly turndown service were exceptional. We also spent plenty of time at the pool, where the staff and bartender were fantastic. The drinks were great, the food hit the spot, and the Fourth of July pop-up DJ made for a really fun afternoon. The service was so personal that one of the bartenders recognized us by name when we ran into her on the street a few days later. The only miss during our stay was the famous Carousel Bar. We never managed to get seats at the actual carousel during our four nights--which is understandable given how popular it is and being the 4th of July weekend. We did sit just behind it. Unfortunately, the service there was noticeably unfriendly and felt completely out of step with the incredible hospitality we experienced everywhere else in the hotel. That one experience wasn't enough to overshadow an otherwise outstanding stay. Between the beautiful historic décor, unbeatable French Quarter location, easy access to everything, and a staff that truly cares about its guests, Hotel Monteleone absolutely lived up to the hype. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

However, something we couldn't ignore while using the bathroom in the middle of our first night, was that we found we weren't alone. There were 3+ cockroaches hanging out near the tub and a few scurried away before we could kill/photograph them. The next morning we went to the front desk, got our refund and switched hotels. Front desk staff was AWESOME, so kind and quick to help us. However, after we asked to cancel our stay and went back up to the room to get our bags and leave, one of the hotel housekeepers decided to come up to our room and "confront us". She wanted us to show her the cockroaches (that we had killed and flushed) and tried telling us she's never seen a cockroach at Hotel Le Marais before, basically calling us liars. The 2 things I care most about when staying in a hotel is a comfortable night's rest and a good bathroom/shower. The bed in our room was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life. It was so mushy that when you laid your head down, you sunk so far into it that your legs were literally 45 degrees above your head. I ended up sleeping upside down in the bed with my head where your feet go in order to feel even remotely comfortable. The pillows were all extremely flat, when you put your head on one it sank so far your face was about 1/2 inch from the mattress. I had to use 3 pillows stacked on each other. I had a stiff back, neck and joints the entire time we were there. The 2nd issue was hot water. The first morning, we attempted to shower, it only got barely luke warm for me and when my husband showered immediately after he only got ice cold water. We stopped at the front desk that morning on our way out for the day and told the woman at the front desk. She said she hadn't received any other complaints so it must be specific to our room and she would send engineering there to look at it. (we were getting hot water in the sink). Later that evening when we returned to our room, we immediately tested the shower again and it was still ice cold. So we went back to the front desk to check if engineering had come. We spoke to the same woman from the morning who acted like it was the first time we were telling her this and she said the exact same thing. I asked if they were going to come ASAP because we needed to shower soon and we couldn't take ice cold showers. She ignored my question and answered the ringing phone. A manager happened to be at the desk and overheard our conversation. He asked what our room number was and said that because of the old building and the pipes the hot water takes longer to get there. He said this was a KNOWN Issue by the staff, management and the owner. He told us to run the shower for AT LEAST 15 to 20 minutes, simultaneously with the sink and it should get hot. He also offered to move us to a different room but when I asked if he could guarantee if we wouldn't have the same problem in that room he couldn't give me a straight answer. We had already unpacked everything and didn't want to go through that hassle without a guarantee. So we went back to the room and let it run for 20 minutes and it eventually got hot. So for the remaining 3 mornings, we had to set our alarms for 30 minutes earlier so we could get up and run our shower before hand. For nearly $300 a night, we felt that this was ridiculous. Old building or not, if its a problem, then either don't put people in those rooms, or get it fixed somehow. Why should anyone be subjected to an ice old shower or an inconvenience to their time because the owner hasn't done anything about it? We visited the hotel Bar, the Bourbon O'bar 3 times during our stay and each time we received TERRIBLE service. None of the bartenders were friendly to us, in fact they were pretty rude. Each time it took them at least 10 minutes to even take our order (by standing there and looking at us and not saying anything). The bar was not busy or crowded any of these times. They would then start making one of our drinks, put it down and make other people's drinks, leave and go into a back room, play on their cell phone, talk to each other, or carry the glass around while doing other things. My husband ordered an old fashioned and the alcohol was sitting in the jar with the ice for over 5 minutes while the bartender carried it around doing other things, causing it to get watered down. When making a cocktail, it should be completed from start to finish without doing other things in the middle. I ordered the Mardi Drop cocktail on 2 different days. The first time, it was actually very good. The 2nd time from a different bartender it was horrible .He also sprinkled probably a tablespoon of cinnamon on top of it (which the first didn't have) which made it nearly undrinkable. I had to stir it into the martini in order to not get a mouthful of cinnamon with each sip. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant Roux because of the bad Yelp reviews - we felt we could get a better breakfast elsewhere outside the hotel. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all unless you don't care about being comfortable or friendly service.

Just be prepared for the wall of noise if you're staying on a Friday and Saturday night and have a room facing Bourbon Street; you will need more than the sound machine and earplugs the hotel provides you. But if you're there to party hard on Bourbon Street at all the touristy bars, then you will be in your element. Depending on the side of the hotel you select when booking your room and the days you choose, you may be able to get away with just a sound machine and earplugs, or you may be getting too old and need to look elsewhere. If you stay on the courtyard side, you should have enough barriers to deflect the nonstop barrage of noise coming from all the bars and clubs on Bourbon Street, especially between Bienville and St. Ann, on a Friday and Saturday night particularly. We had a room on the third floor with a balcony overlooking Bourbon Street that gave us a great view and the opportunity to enjoy wine and cocktails as the festivities picked up steam throughout the afternoons of our stay. The bed was wicked comfortable. The set of drawers had plenty of space to put clothes with a small fridge for keeping drinks cool and leftovers from spoiling. The closet space was ample and was able to fit all of our hang-up clothing and our suitcases. There was a nice lounge chair next to the desk to chill if you didn't want to sit on the balcony. However, the bathroom was cramped and narrow with these weird double doors that could cause trouble if you are going to do business in the middle of the night. The water pressure wasn't great either and if you don't have the curtain positioned right then you're going to have a puddle. Housekeeping did come by to change our linens and provide fresh towels every day, which was appreciated. The front desk was very affable and accommodating, especially with holding out luggage when our room wasn't quite ready yet to check-in. And I liked that there was a security person checking people that were actually staying at the hotel to avoid stragglers, random drunks, and transients from entering. I didn't have the chance to use the pool while I was there, but we were busy walking around the French Quarter to really care. Same went with having anything in the restaurant for food. They did have the little mini mart on the ground floor that worked for when we needed more bottles of water that were larger than the complimentary ones.
