Needed to stay 3 nights and was tricked. bamboozled. betrayed. The place was a wreck. No Wyndham logo anyplace but the key. Photos online made the place look half decent. Lies. Bugs crawled outside like angry bouncers. Lyft drivers and two abandoned dusty cars parked in the lot. Ripped carpet. Missing door mirror with glue stains. Shredded lettuce on the floor of the closet. Old fridge and scary dirty microwave. Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash bolted to the walls. Smoke alarm barely attached to the wall. Dirty damp rugs and dusty headboards. Dusty ceilings. Stained sheets and chemical burned towels. Pillows with no density. Sofa chair and ottoman stained and suspect looking. Light switches and electric sockets that didn't all work. The smell of weed made my brother have to change rooms. Yet the smell of weed was all over the premises. It seemed that everyone who rented a suite there smoked. My bro chose this hotel due to his job's discount and assumed it would be good for his family to stay in. Lucky for me, I was with 4 other family members there for an event, and had no time, so we cleaned like biohazard workers, vented to each other about it, and then laughed about our shitty hotel luck. If I was there solo, I would of slept in the woods. The only thing that saved them was a powerful shower head with hot water, a door lock and a soft bed. With so many hotels in the area I assumed the competition would at least drive them to upgrade. Nope. This hotel will forever be in our memories as the shitty hotel we stayed when we all met up with family for a 80th birthday party. We'll groan and tell folks about it while they look surprised. Pros - Cheap, even last minute ($59/night, booked the day before); all right quality for the price; room with a single king had a lot of space--a couch, a desk and chair, a mini fridge and a microwave; continental breakfast (did not attend, do not know what's offered or the quality); outdoor pool (did not use); conveniently located by the I-75, Enterprise, several fast food/restaurant options, and a Walmart. Cons - Area is not the best; parking lot is a little on the tight/small side; exiting onto the street can be difficult; bed was very high and way too firm; pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable; mini fridge does not get very cold/takes a long while to get cold (would not feel safe putting perishables in it); keycard randomly deactivated our second to last day; no dogs over 40lbs are allowed at all and any dogs are not allowed to stay more than 2 days. Biggest issue were the insects. A medium-sized beetle crawled out of a hole in the outside corner of the bathtub our first night, and then our last night my fiancée found a HUGE dead spider right under the space between the bedside table and the bed (both pictured). read more

I stayed at this hotel on July 23, 2022 for one night, and it was a total nightmare! After reaching my room, I encountered what seemed to be an extended-stay guest sitting outside smoking marijuana. My room did not smell nor look clean and had blown light bulbs in two of the lamps. I requested another room. The second room was even worst - stained tub, hair on walls of bathroom, broken refrigerator, stained sheet and furniture, rusty stained towels. This place is a dump!!!!! read more

Allegedly "renovated"...... this place is in bad shape. Was visiting Mcdonough area for a few nights and didn't have many options. From the masking tape on the shower rod to the broken rod/shelf in the closet. I expected better from a WYNDHAM branded hotel. Did I mention the clump of hair in the tub, the filthy chair in the room and the enormous rat trap outside of the room. In any case, take my advise and sleep in your car.. read more

The room they had originally booked for me was having the mattresses replaced so they put us in a different room. The room they put us in had bedbugs. It was in between 4 rooms that were having the mattresses replaced. It's like they knew there was a bedbug problem in that area but put us in that room anyway. When I saw the bedbug droppings and ripped mattress protectors, I went back and asked to have our room switched. The room they moved us to after was completely filthy. There was previous visitors hair on the counter and underwear on the floor. The bathroom and vanity floors were so filthy that the towels turned black and grey when used. There were pink stains on the shower curtain AND pillowcases and sheets. Not to mention the pool had a light fixture that was pulled out of the pool but not unplugged. Whether it was connected to power or not, I do not know. We ended up sleeping in our swimsuits and leaving everything including our shoes in our vehicle to make sure we would not get bedbugs before our vacation started. I talked to the assistant manager (amongst others). She told me the general manager would contact me. He never did. I called Baymont corporate, they said I would get a cal back after they looked into. They didn't respond either. I called hotels.com. At least they tried to help even if they only wanted to give me a $25 credit. I won't be using hotels.com as a booking site again and I recommend no one ever stays at the Baymont Inn in McDonough, GA less they want to roll the dice. read more

I booked online through booking.com without seeing actual photos of the location. That was my first mistake. I was traveling through and just needed. a place to sleep/ shower. There will be neither happening here. After arriving and checking in, I park my car and get my dog out of the kennel. Immediately a different man wearing street clothes, with no badge, and was not at front desk during check in, came running out of the side door saying Mam, what is the purpose of your dog? I said "Excuse me", because I was thrown off a stranger approached me so aggressively. He said "you come here, you can not have a dog" I said the website said this is a Pet Friendly hotel. He said "Only for service dogs, this is not a service dog". Make note, I had already checked in and under special request I put will be bringing a small dog. Because I had a key, I went and set my things down in the room, and then went back to the front desk. When I got downstairs he was printing out something from his computer and said "See mam, see right here" showing me his printed paper where it says Dog Fee $15. I said no where on the internet does it say this and I don't appreciate you talking to me with such a harsh tone. I am not being rude to you and it would help my anxiety if you are not so rude to me. The man never once apologized but said he would "waive" the fee this one time. Getting to the room, I immediately took pictures. It is GROSS. You get what you pay for type of room. There was a hole in the wall where the door handle hits, the lamp has a light bulb hanging off of it from one wire, and there is orange crayon scribbled on the wall. The AC is on cool but it is still 77 degrees in here. There are stains on the bottom of the bed boards. Never again will I stay here. Not pet friendly, Not friendly at all. read more

The first room I got had ants coming out of the AC unit. There were stains on all the furniture. I was so uncomfortable I sat on the edge of the bed for less than 5 minutes until I decided to get another room. The front desk lady gave me a hard time because she said the room was used. Again I literally sat on the edge of the bed in fear that I might contract something. When she did finally give me a new room, it was still disgusting but the towel rack was coming off, the tissue holder was rusty as hell, the shower was dirty and there were cigarette burns on the bed covers(was supposed to be a non-smoking room). I ended up just leaving and finding another hotel. Cheaper is not always better read more

I booked through Priceline. The hotel is a dump. Paint peeling on sidewalk, overhang was literally falling down, garbage in the parking lot. Our first room, was a mess. Carpet was shredded to pieces on one end, a foot stool had the stuffing exposed and hanging out of the side seam. When I went to move the chair at the desk, a large piece of the vinyl backing came off, the seat was ducked taped. The front desk attendant was pleasant and gave us a different room. The second room looked ok, until I went to take a shower and noticed mold on the ceiling. while at the front desk another customer was complaining about mold in her room and was moved also. The pictures of the hotel could not have been current. We were traveling and the room was non refundable (which I understand why, otherwise they would be refunding everyone and not making money). Just say no, to this location. read more

Long story short: spend your money elsewhere. The management and staff do not care about their guest experience. Spent three nights here. First night: Locked out of the room at 3AM because of a dead door battery. The first night so we had to sit outside the room for 30 mins until the staff could wake up the manager to get the master key to override the dead battery. Third night: both hotel keys were deactivated and once again had to spend time replacing them late at night. Staff and management was insufferable when I requested that they made the situation right. Talk about POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

This was the WORST hotel/motel I've ever been in for the whole five minutes that we stayed. The door was wide open when we arrived and bugs were flying everywhere. The comforters were disgusting with burn holes and stains and whatever else was on it. No soap in bathroom or in room at all. No tissue. Tv didn't work at all. Best part is the neighbor who was standing outside let us know at least ten tones that she was carrying a gun if we needed her help. Yikes. We couldn't get our refund fast enough!! Best western about 1/2 mile down the road was our savior!! Good riddance to Baymont! They didn't even apologize. Don't waste the 5 minutes in this dump. read more

Very old not to clean found some mold in corners of bath tub. Carpet is in needs to be replace, beds were soft. Bed springs made sounds when sat on them. Need I say any more. Wyndham needs to look at this motel... read more

Very clean rooms with great air conditioner. The sheets and comforters were fresh and clean, carpet was newer and although they are going through a renovation, they ensure you have a clean room which will fulfill your basic needs. This property does not even earn one star. We had booked and paid for this prior to arrival. The hotel is dirty, the staff is not pleasant, the halls were filled with toilets, lamps, and various OLD decor from the rooms. They are in the middle (or beginning) of a major renovation. They should not be renting these rooms. The hotel should be closed. We went to the room and decided it was too gross to stay. We found a very nice hotel and left immediately. I will never book another Baymont Suites hotel. read more

I amo only giving it one star because I cannot give it half or none. There was a huge spot on our ceiling that looks like water damage that barely got fixed. There were three tiny pillows on each bed in the room. Who doesn't sleep with a normal sizes pillow. I went to go get ice from the ice machine on the second floor and guess what...there isn't one. A vending machine and a washer and dryer....and the washer and dryer are $5.00 each. The room was ridiculously hot and it took forever to cool down. And let's not forget when I went to just grab a cup of water...not only was it coming out of the faucet but from the knob as well...aaaand it wasn't even cold. This place is definitely not worth the amount of money they are asking per room. This is a cheap low-grade motel that should lower their prices as much as they have their standards on the quality of what the consumer is getting. Would never stay there again. read more
