Needed a place to stay last minute when I had to cancel a reservation with another hotel. This place, while in need of some renovations, was a nice quiet place for the 3 days I was here. The pool and hot tub are open 24 hours, and very clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was nice also. If you're looking for a simple place, and don't mind some peeling paint (they could stand to shampoo the carpets too...) then this is a good place to stay. Cold A.C, nice hot shower and a clean comfy bed. I'd stay here again. As a Wyndham property though, they should definitely do some improvements and renovations though. read more

Unfortunately we had a family emergency arise. 90 year old father-in-law in hospital so could not make our stay. Hotel would not work with us to get a refund so we are out over $500.00. Understand that's their policy blah blah blah...but hope they also understand that there are lots of nice hotels that they are competing with. Do NOT stay here they will try to steal your money!!!! We stayed Tuesday night and the lady at the front desk had a bad attitude the minute we walked in! Her proceeded actions should have her fired immediately alone! We have stayed here many times in the past and always paid our deposit in cash! Sign right there on the front desk says you can receive it back upon checkout! Then we check into our room #126 and the lock at the top was missing the main part only having the bottom lock that anyone who works there could still break in on you! Not safe at all! We went to the front desk and asked for another room "she automatically sucked her teeth and said that there were NO rooms left"! A random Tuesday in September I knew right away was a Bold Face LIE the parking lot was completely empty maybe 7 cars max rooms were empty and there were multiple rooms available on booking as well as the Wyndham site as I am a Wyndham rewards diamond member! But we were so tired instead of arguing we went to bed got up at 5am to checkout she is still there and says it's going to be a process and take till 7am refusing to check our room and give us our money back! My husband ended up calling the police and she was lying to the officer even non stop but we had proof all on video so the officer and another employee ended up inspecting our room and making her give us our money back! We will never ever stay here again! She was the worst person in customer service I have ever met just mean and rude for no reason at all! They really need to find some better employees she does not belong in that field! Go anywhere else but here! read more

Avoid this hotel at all costs! Started with mis/no communication regarding my reservation. Despite my efforts at modifying my reservation I was still charged a $56 no show fee; a late request was a $10 fee!! Never heard of such a thing. No communication regarding room servicing, even getting additional towels was a hassle. As I was struggling down the stairs (no elevator) the young manager stood there and watched me almost fall with a case and did not offer any assistance. Most all staff was rude and not helpful and even hung up on me! The company has not bothered to follow up on previous communication regarding over charges. I have an official complaint open with corporate and am hoping someone will care enough to follow up, this entire stay has been exhausting! Avoid this hotel!!! read more

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. All three of the people that worked the front desk had no personality and were very unfriendly. They were hardly ever at the front desk, and when they were not, there was a sign saying the prospective guest could call the phone number from the sign. No one saw the sign, but if anybody said anything about them not being at the front desk, they copped an attitude. Also, I have a service dog that was not allowed in the breakfast area. The employee said, "even though the dog is a service dog, it's not allowed in the breakfast room". I told him that's not true. Any trained service dog is allowed anywhere that a person goes because they have to do their job if that person needs them. That's the reason for a service dog. Mine is trained and friendly, and is not emotional support. I was traveling alone, so I need my service dog to help me my life. I was even leaving as I finished breakfast, and I feel it was not even necessary For him to have said anything. And because I told him it was not true, and I also went up to the front desk to tell him that I would be happy to contact The ADA, and they could tell him that my dog was allowed in the breakfast room. He then said that "I"was being aggressive... Right. I was the aggressive one? When he didn't need to say what he did. I could have stayed at this hotel again as I was going back home, but I will not. I had an extended stay here due to work ( several weeks) and I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. My room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and Stephanie and Mike were extremely accommodating. They were in the process of reopening the pool during my stay. If you travel with a dog this is a great location with lots of ground space and little traffic. The back area is well lit and the front lawns are large. I never felt unsafe coming and going. All in all I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the lack of food establishments near the hotel. read more

i debated between this place and the Econolodge. Bad decision. Wish we had been able to drive by it first. The place is a dump! Empty strip mall next door. Parking lot fills up with druggies at night. Our room was open when we got to it. Beds looked like the weiner mobile. Absolutely terrible. Room was disgusting. They put us in the end of a hall across from a room FULL of loud people who were smoking pot all night. They loaded up garbage outside their room and sheets lined the hall. They were loud all night. Entire place should be condemned. Would NEVER go back. Don't bother with the breakfast...no juice and it is packaged crap. Avoid this place like the plague! Should not have any stars! read more

Meh. This hotel was kind of a disappointment for me. The pictures online looked great, but the room was quite the opposite. The paint on the wall seemed fairly new, but there were furniture scratch marks all over the place. The carpet in the room was pretty nasty and needing of replacing. Check-in was awkward. The lady at the desk couldn't locate my reservation at first. Maybe she was new. There was a unique smell in the hallways, almost like cheap incense. All in all, this is not a hotel I will choose to stay in the future. Pool was closed when I was there, but the hottub was open 24 hours a day? Arrived at motel when told to had to wait a half an hour because room wasn't cleaned told Paul was open which one I got there it wasn't open when I finally was allowed to get to the room the TV wasn't working had to wait at least an hour when the man from the front desk came up to fix the TV he was rude about it when I walked in the room it smelled terrible when I went into floors were sticky when I walked on them when I went into the bathroom on the shower floor there were metal screws on the floor they charged me an extra $100 for a some type of deposit which I had no problem giving to them their policy said it would be refunded within three to five days I've been waiting weeks when I call and ask him about the deposit to be returned to my account they said they have no history of me staying at the hotel yet they took the money out of my account the outside grounds are loaded with dog droppings which is probably why the motel room smells terrible also dog droppings in the hallways on the carpeting the doors coming in from outside are not locked most of them stay open for my experience it's it's behind a closed mall where they sell marijuana and there's people all around there smoking marijuana all times of night and day I would not stay there I would advise families definitely not to stay there the people at the front desk are rude I would stay in a tent on the side of the road if I had a choice caution they will not refund your money and when you call and ask for a refund they hang up on you the front desk the man at the front desk caution do not go there do not they will not give you $100 back from the deposit they are rude it is a smelly motel in my opinion only my opinion it is dangerous outside because of the marijuana store that is right next to it be careful read more

Do not stay here! I checked in to the hotel and was not even through the check out process before another guest was talking to the front desk about someone staying above her that was being too loud. The lady at the front desk responded with "what do you want me to do kick them out?". I then got placed in the room next to the loud individuals. I excused this because the front desk clerk didn't seem to care so I just slept with a pillow over my head. The room itself was filthy, the bedspread was visibly soiled and had crusty stains. It was clear no one had cleaned parts of the room in a while, one of the mirrors on the wall was so dirty it was barely reflective. I just pulled the bedspread off the the bed and turned up the heat. This alone was unsettling and gross but I am not typically one to complain so I just excused the filth, sometimes hotels are dirty. The kicker was when at 7am the fire alarm started going off... and again a few mins later ... and again a few mins later... and again a few mins later... I decided to leave after it went off for the 5th time. It would have been one thing if there had been a fire but this was due to some system glitch or user error. The poor lady at the front desk clearly was not trained to deal with what was going on. And I will add fire alarms at hotels are meant to wake near comatose individuals, to say it was loud and jarring would be an understatement. At this point I was frustrated, I tried to contact the hotel for a refund and credit as this was overall the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel of any kind... but was informed because I stayed until 7 AM they would not issue any type of refund or credit. Bottom line, save your money you would have more restful sleep staying in your car. This hotel was dirty, loud and apparently under such disrepair they cannot even ensure an environment where you are able to get an adequate amount of sleep. read more

I wanted to spend the weekend with my wife, daughter and grandson relaxing and swimming in a pool. So I Logged onto the internet and searched out Wyndham which I have stayed at a number of times. We booked for the weekend and drove there (25 Miles) from home. Upon arrival after driving around an unfamiliar neighborhood to locate the hotel, we noted the front parking lot to be un-kept with weeds growing and the lobby a mess with broken and chipped paint on the interior tables, also noted the pool seemed to be cloudy from a distance. We checked in and went to the room while walking the hallways we noted very cold air like there was no heat for February. We opened our door and the room seemed just ok there were no pamphlets' to direct us about the hotel or our stay. So we went down to the pool area. On the way we stopped by the fitness area where we noticed broken mirrors and glass on the floor. We continued to the pool where we found floating clumps of hair in the pool along with what appeared to be an oil slick on top of the water inside the pool. We did not even put our hands in the water to check the tempature because of the filthiness of the pool. We immediately went back to the room to retrieve our belongings and then to the front desk to check out. She refused our check out and offered nothing in regards to our concerns. Not a screen to clean the pool, not a broom to clean the broken glass and of all things not a refund of our money. She made a call to the manager on duty who also confirmed they would not refund our deposit. After some comments between us she did offer 43.00 back for the 2nd days stay. If someone could contact me in regards to my concerns that would be great. As I said above I have stayed at many Wyndham's Hotels and have never had such an experience. read more

Desperately needs a remodel. Rooms are falling apart. Holes in walls. Wallpaper falling off walls. Lamp shades ripped and broken. All the furniture is stained. ABSOLUTE WORST WIFI EVER!! Rooms are not sound proof, so no music while in jacuzzi tub or you will get kicked out for the playing music too loud but no problem with loud barking dogs. We had no phone in our room and front desk entered our jacuzzi room since they couldn't get ahold of us on phone bet they seen my husband naked sleeping in the bed! We will never stay at or recommend this hotel! And now there are unknown and unapproved charges to my bank account. I do not recommend this Hotel at all. First, it's tucked away behind an abandoned strip mall. Very sketchy. We had reserved a room over the phone for a spontaneous trip with my family, and could not get a refund as it was within 24 hrs. When I arrived, I was told that there was no smoking allowed, and that the we would be penalized $200 if we were caught smoking. That was great, because I don't smoke, nor do I like my room smelling like smoke. We walked into our room, and it smelled completely like smoke. I reported it, but it seemed as though nobody was interested. The room was very dated, didn't look like the pics online. We got a Suite, thinking it would be a little nicer, but it looked old and smelled. The pullout couch (for my kids) was old, broken. When I sat on it, I went right through it. There were no linens for the pullout couch, had to call that in. The TV doesn't even have a TV guide on it, I was told to pull up TV guide on my phone and use that. The frat party next door at 2am was lovely. That went on almost all night. Lastly, the next morning, as we were getting ready to leave, my wife looked under the bed to see if we missed anything, and she pulled out a mouse trap. YES, A MOUSE TRAP. There were two under the bed. Disgusting!!!!! The woman at the front desk was very friendly. And the pool was a nice pool. Totally not worth $10. read more

Was expecting a little more for the name. On the low end of hotels. The price did not reflect that. Paid more than i should have. Also had a hard time finding it. This place is a mile off the main road in the middle of nothing. Overall somewhat clean. I dont usually check for bed bugs, but after walking in and I lifted up the mattress and inspected it. Thankfully no bugs. Had free breakfast. But actually I paid for it. This place should have been at least twenty dollars cheaper. The coffee was cold. Nothing worse. Actually had to stop and buy some coffee on the way out of town. Biscuits and gravy was down right awful. Was not planing on using the pool, but would not. Very disappointed! We booked online with a 3rd party, Expedia for a suite. When we got here they put us in king regular room. After going back and forth with the front desk they put us in the suite, the windows were dirty, hot in the room and very very outdated. Whirlpool tub not working, couch old and outdate and broke. They should not call this room a suite, the picture they have on their website is deceiving. read more

Stopped by before playing indoor golf at the newly renovated plaza across the way. The staff was very helpful with getting me a discount for my room. The bed was comfy, the room was spotless, and my kids loved the hotel pool. I was hesitant to book when I saw the previous reviews but this stay changed my outlook on this hotel. I wish I could give less than 1 star. This hotel is absolutely DISGUSTING. Wallpaper peeling, half the lights don't work, floors not vacuumed in ages, wrappers and garbage from previous guests left in the couch, stains all over the walls, rooms all smelling of smoke, and more. Not to mention the terrible location and dark driveway back to the hotel itself. A large group of us were in town for a wedding and had reserved a block of rooms. Every single person had problems reserving a room and was told by the manager, Jas, to instead text him to reserve said room. When the bride called to confirm the rooms, she was also told to instead text the manager to confirm. On top of all of this, the second couple to check in did not have a room ready for them at the 3pm check in time and was told by a guest leaving that multiple rooms had BED BUGS. The manager confirmed that there were bed bugs, but that they were taken care of. The possibility of bed bugs wasn't mentioned to any of the others in our group checking in. Check out today was at 11am, and at 10:30am there was a house keeper waiting outside our door to clean. It's too bad they didn't take that much care into the cleaning the rooms before we all showed up. We gave this place the benefit of the doubt, but it was too late to find another hotel for everyone by the time we realized this place is a disaster. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. read more

As a housekeeper in another hotel the first thing I did upon entering was check the beds and carpet and cleanliness of the whole room...the carpet was stained but the beds were neat and clean...definitely in need of an upgrade... I do like the fact that the hotel is tucked away so you have some privacy...the hot tub was nice but the heater in the pool is broken... I chose this hotel because of price and pool... I have 3 children that were disappointed about the pool but otherwise got in it... I would stay again but in a bigger room..we got the king with pullout couch(was kinda dirty though) that I had to wipe down...but then again the room matched the $$...all weekend for $108.00 read more

I chose Baymont Inn because I thought it was a reputable hotel and I needed a safe place to stay on my way to Canada for a vacation. The check-in staff was courteous upon arrival but the place was noisy from people running up and down the halls to the swimming area. There was a group of guys outside my window yelling and playing rap music from their SUV's until after midnight. My room was tiny and ill-equipped (no bathroom counter and no luggage rack) and seemed dirty. I felt myself being bitten all night but thought it was just nerves/paranoia. The next morning I felt something crawling on my back after my shower and discovered a juvenile bedbug, bright red from my blood. I checked the bed and found at least half a dozen small dead ones right where I'd been sleeping. I took photos and informed the desk staff upon checkout. They apologized and said the room had previously had a long-term guest but denied that they'd had any complaints previously. I took one of them in the room where he saw the dead bugs and apologized. He told me I'd have to call the manager later, even though I'd told them I was on the way to Canada and wouldn't be able to. A week later while still in Canada, the bites showed and itched so badly I nearly sought medical treatment. I had at least a hundred bites above the waist. When I got back in country and called the manager, the first thing she said was that they'd had no other complaints, as if I were lying!!! I'm STILL waiting to hear about a refund.
