It was so dang delicious that I can't wait for the next tournament to go back!! We had the crawfish dip, crab leg boil and shrimp boil. It was all so good but lemme tell you about these crab legs!!!! Insanely good! Better than the ones we get in Florida!! They were so well seasoned. The Royal Reds & fried shrimp were delicious. The sausage was perfectly cooked!! Those potatoes cut like butter. The crawfish dip was plentiful with crawfish tails!! Not a single complaint!! Prices are good. Bathrooms clean. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

I had the fried shrimp, and they clearly were NOT just frozen shrimp they'd bought somewhere and fried, these seemed homemade. . .definitely NOT typical mass-production shrimp. The food was pretty good. There's two things I would list as downsides, however. The first is that the wait for service was pretty long. It was quite a long wait from when I ordered until I got my food. That's a minor downside, given the quality. I got the picture they might not have a robust back-of-house staff. The second, and bigger downside is. . .I didn't go there expecting a seafood place! The well-worn sign out front still says "Deez Butts" BBQ, and I'd followed signs from the freeway exit thinking I was going to a barbecue joint. When I stepped inside, I pieced together as I was standing in line that the BBQ had closed and this was now a seafood place. It was good food, but I was expecting barbecue and was too hungry to bother hunting for another place to eat. I was left wondering if they couldn't afford to change the (well worn) sign out front. It just seemed a little odd that the sign out front is for a barbecue joint, but it's a seafood place inside.

Basically it is a side gig to the Lincoln Jamboree which features country music. They seem to pull a good local crowd for their plate lunches which are the most reasonably priced then I have seen in quite awhile. Lunch is from 11a-3p and there it is cafeteria style with your choice from 2 entrees, 2 sides a dinner roll or cornbread with a drink all for under $10. There is a short order menu available as well. Upon our visit the offering was meatloaf or chicken and dumplings with sides of brown beans, green beans, pickled beets, or real mashed potatoes. Now that is some comfort food for ya! They have a small gift shop area with jars of chow chow, pickled relish, BBQ sauces and various jams/jellies 5 for $19.99. Yes, we got 5. Whether you are touring through to visit Abraham Lincoln's birthplace or just headed to Nolin, it is a quaint little spot to grab some lunch. They are open 7 days a week abd serve breakfast as well. The people who worked there were as country sweet as you could get!

It will suit dating couples, business associates, and families well. (Families, provided everyone knows how to use their indoor voice.) The food is wonderful! The sauces are light and flavorful. The meat & pasta cooked perfectly! I went with my best friend on a road trip and found this place on Apple Maps. We had stuffed mushroom appetizers, which were wonderful and they did not skimp on the crabmeat. The soup of the day was spinach & broccoli cream, which was buttery, but light. It was an excellent accompaniment to the homemade rolls! I had the pasta trio: lasagna, manicotti, and spinach ravioli in meat sauce. The meat sauce was delicious. (Next time I'll get the cream sauce on the spinach ravioli.) Yum!! My best friend had the Chicken Florentine on gluten free penne pasta. She said it was perfectly executed and perfectly balanced. "It's worth getting off the highway for!"

Sitting unassuming along Happy Valley Road, Napoli's Italian Restaurant is Glasgow's answer to a…read moreclassic, white-tablecloth trattoria. While the exterior might suggest a standard small-town eatery, the interior transforms into an intimate escape, complete with soft lighting and a warm, countryside charm that feels surprisingly sophisticated for Barren County. Here is our experience based on a recent visit starting with our Appetizer: Stuffed Mushrooms, We began the evening with the Stuffed Mushrooms, a dish that sets a high bar for the rest of the meal. These aren't your typical breadcrumb-heavy fillers; instead, the silver-dollar caps are generously packed with a savory blend of crab meat and herbs, then bathed in a rich, velvety sherry pink sauce. The sauce is the real star--creamy with a slight acidic brightness that cuts through the richness of the seafood. It begs to be mopped up with a piece of their warm, house-made garlic rolls. For our main course, the Lobster Ravioli was an absolute triumph. The pasta arrived perfectly al dente, housing a delicate, buttery lobster filling. What elevates this dish above standard fare is the presentation; the ravioli are tossed with chopped tomatoes and fresh basil, then smothered in that same signature pink sauce found in the appetizers. It's a decadent, "more-is-more" approach to Italian dining that feels celebratory. The portions are notably large--typical of Napoli's reputation for value. We selected the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake for dessert. To cleanse the palate after a symphony of cream and garlic, the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake is essential. It's a light, airy sponge cake layered with a tart lemon mascarpone cream and finished with a dusting of white chocolate shavings. Unlike a heavy cheesecake, this dessert is refreshing and bright--a citrusy "exclamation point" at the end of a heavy meal. Napoli's succeeds because it doesn't try to reinvent the wheel; it simply polishes it. Between the attentive, friendly service and a menu that leans heavily into authentic, "made-from-scratch" flavors, it remains a hidden gem for anyone in the Somerset or Lexington area looking for a short drive to a high-quality meal.

After seeing the trailer from a distance, I see they follow the traditional N'awlins colors! So why not? One of the pictures on social media shows beignets. Who doesn't like beignets? No reasonable person, short of you gluten-free folks who would probably admit they would love to just crunch one down. Sorry, Let's leave it for later. Friendly staff and the smells are good. We split a Shrimp and Crayfish Poboy. It come with fries and remoulade, which is mayonnaise based herb/capers thick sauce. Very fresh - very. I'll say I've eaten, in New Orleans, a few poboys. This was as good as all and better than some. The shrimp was delicious as well as the sweet little crayfish. Deep-fried and plenty of 'em covering the French roll. Top it with a little lettuce and some tomato. Yum yum. You can find these fine folks on social media (to figure out what you want) and in-person in Glasgow and Franklin. Just have to look and see. They have gator too. We just gonna have to go back. Here's the secret. I didn't eat a beignet. Don't judge. I'll eat one later. I'm just afraid they will be better than Cafe Du Monde and I so enjoy Cafe Du Monde. Which now makes me wonder if they have coffee. Hmmm. Need to ask. I'll let you know.
