I contacted Bay Pro Junk Removal to empty the house I grew up in. There were large pieces of furniture on all three floors. The men that came out to estimate the job weren't the largest in stature so we had our doubts. The estimate was fair and their availability was in a few days. Our house also had 1/2 a garage of old medical equipment, plywood boards, bricks, and a ton of other garbage. In 4 1/2 hours, Cipriano and his relatives completed the job. Thought I left a review a long time ago, but they are great! A year or so ago I called them for an estimate and it was great so they immediately removed a bunch of junk and old unsalvageable furniture I had crowding up my home. It was a relief and didn't leave me broke! They had the cutest brown, curly-haired dog in the truck, too. I think named Simba. Anyway this seemed like a family business and way better than those greedy corporations. Quick! Professional! Thorough! Inexpensive! I received 10 quotes for a large truckload of wood I needed hauled away and Baypro was the cheapest by 1/2 to 1/3 of all the other estimates. They responded to my quote request right away and showed up very fast for a more thorough in-person cost evaluation. Rod was good at communicating and very courteous. He explained the disposal costs and gave me a small range of what the total cost would be once he got the truck fully loaded. It turned out that Rod slightly underestimated how much debris I had. It came into about a ton and a half when he originally thought it would be about a ton. He said he'd honor the original price though. I appreciated his honesty. Since he was working hard, by himself, and because I knew I was getting a deal based on the other quotes, I asked what a fair price would be given the amount of work it was. He told me and we met on a price we were both happy with, somewhere in the middle. I'll definitely be using this company again the next time I need something hauled away. read more

I contacted them to ask about junk removal service. Rod was very responsive and always replied to my text messages quickly. He was very easy to work with and was able to come on the date I preferred. We need his service to remove all the stuffs that we had in our basement and to move some stuffs around our rooms. My parents-in-law have lived in the house for more than 40 years, so they had a basement with full of stuffs that needed to be thrown away. There were many big boxes, furnitures, machines, many heavy items, etc. Rod gave me a very reasonable price. He and his guy finished the work in about 1.5 hours, which was very surprising. We are all happy with their work and couldn't believe that we could be able to make it that clean. They helped us to remove whatever we wanted. I scheduled in advance for moving services on the evening of July 10 at 430 and was confirmed. On the day of, Baypro called at 9am to reschedule for later that day at 7pm. And the. At 5pm, rescheduled me for 7am the following day July 11th. Very unprofessional. One star for arriving on time. They came and removed one couch, one dining table, 6 dining chairs, two small book shelves, and 3 small moving boxes. Services were finished within 30 mins and charged me $150. This is so expensive. They advertised for $99 and surcharged me for pullout bed couch and that I live upstairs. Ridiculous!!!! I believe this may have been a plan to leave me with no options since I had to have my furniture moved that day for scheduled carpet cleaning. And this is where I'm very upset. The movers were very nosy. They asked me how many bedrooms my house has when all I needed was furniture moved from my living room. Number of bedrooms is irrelevant. I told my roommates this , and they are very bothered as well. In summary, I would not recommend Baypro: unprofessional with appointment, expensive, and potential security reasons. Dishonest! I bought a Groupon good for three 90 minute cleanings. When I called to schedule, it went straight to voicemail even though it was during business hours. I left a message, and someone named Denise called me back the following day. She asked how large our apartment was. I told her it is 800 sqf. She said it would take them 2 and a half hours to clean the apartment. I explained that my Groupon was only good for 90 minute sessions, and that I wanted to use my Groupon. She said they don't do partial cleanings, so we would have to pay the full price for the time after 90 minutes. I asked if we could just have the upstairs and our bathroom cleaned, and they would not have to do the bedroom or the office. Again, she said they do not do partial cleanings. This doesn't make sense to me. We don't want cleaners going into our bedroom. They should be willing to work with us to clean whatever we want. NOWHERE did the Groupon say that they would only clean full apartments. Nowhere did it say we would be forced to pay for additional hours of cleaning at full price. I was hoping to use the Groupon to find a good housecleaning service that we could use regularly, but since this company won't clean what you want them to, and insist on cleaning the entire apartment, they will not be our future house cleaners. Plus I would never let someone in my home who was clearly dishonest from the get-go. If you are looking for a cleaning service who will clean the rooms that you want cleaned, and not go into the rooms that you don't want cleaned, avoid this company at all costs. If you're looking for honest people to do business with, avoid them. I'm going to contact Groupon and get a refund. Luckily I know Groupon to be reliable and they always guarantee satisfaction. The project was a big back yard clearance, involving a decaying deck and vegetation growing high up the side of the house. Having read my fellow Yelpers reviews, I scheduled an appointment to have a sofa cleaned. I was assured I'd receive a phone call to confirm. I stayed home to be certain to be there. I never received a call. The appointed hour came and went. I called. No response. I emailed. No response. Mid-day the following day I got an "oops...we forgot" call. What a bozo operation. It takes at least a week to get an appointment so that's a week shot along with an afternoon. Save time and frustration and look elsewhere...there are other good options. Check Yelp. read more

Their place is a lot bigger than ours; they have a four bedroom house, while we have a small one-bedroom. Rodulio and his team, however, serve both of our households very well. My wife contacted Rodulio via email and we have had great communication via email ever since. We schedule, reschedule, and discuss any specific needs all by email, and he responds very promptly. We have worked with two other services who, while just a few bucks cheaper, were not as consistent and professional. The Bay Area Professional folks always arrive on time, either one person or two (our place is so small its either a quick two person gig, or about an 1hr 30min for a solo) and they work very quickly. Once we had some concerns about our kitchen counters not being as clean as we'd like. We contacted Rodulio who assured us that the next time would be great and encouraged us to inspect each team's work. He was right, since then we haven't had any complaints. Bay Area Cleaners were not only the most reasonably priced cleaners that I've found, but the quality of their work was outstanding! I've tried other cleaners before, but Rod and his team did an excellent job cleaning areas that other cleaners never even touched, such behind our piano and the plant window behind our sink. We hired them when we had guests stay at our place for the US Open, and they were also very accommodating when the guests had additional requests. They did the initial cleaning as well as the daily cleaning for us. We are planning on using them again for our deep cleaning for our tenants when we move out of our house. There were several services that were unique to my situation that I wanted performed to make my apartment welcoming to my incoming guests. I was introduced to them via the Groupon promotion they did, and I was very happy with the results. I have tried various other groupons for cleaning and none came near Bay Area Pro Cleaners. Rod is so easy to communicate with (by email) and set up my monthly schedule. The lovely couple we have are so gentle and pleasant (Cipriano and Orneida), and so quiet when working (I've tried some other services where the cleaners seem to be yelling at each other which makes it very uncomfortable to have them in your house).... We have a monthly schedule set up and they are always on time, friendly, and do an amazing job. I am totally happy with them. There was a bit of a problem with using the Groupon but they honoured the deal price and I got a refund from Groupon. Everything worked out in a gentle and polite way. I also run a small business so I understand how challenging it can be to try and understand all the terms and conditions around these kinds of promotions. Like me, they don't have 'specialists' and 'legal people' who can sort through all the jargon while you work hard to make a living...so I naturally cut 'small businesses' more slack than I do large corporations :-) read more

I would have never done this. But the "owner" parked the removal truck in the foods co parking lot in the mission blocking me in for 45 minutes. Causing me to be 1 hour late to work. This is not acceptable for a business and being that the vehicles are larger than the average car there should be some common sense implemented into where they are parked because of that. I couldn't be more disappointed by my experience with baypro. I set up an appointment on their website and promptly received a confirmation email for a 1:15pm appointment. I spent the morning cleaning and when 1:15 came and went I didn't think much of it, I didn't expect the exact time anyway. By 1:45 I still hadn't heard anything so I tried giving them a call. I got an answering machine so I left a message asking them to call me back and went back to waiting. Sometime after 2pm I'm starting to get antsy but I check yelp to see that everyone is having amazing experiences with my guy, Rod, and that he's super easy to communicate with vis email so I send him a message asking him for any sort of update. It's now the next day and no reply. By 3pm I had tried calling them again and even requested a quote via yelp to just get some sort of response but, huge shocker, no response in any way. Ended up calling got junk and they had some guys at my apartment in a little over an hour. I'm sure it's possible to have a good experience with these guys but I'd say don't even bother. I wasted pretty much an entire afternoon just waiting for them to give me a response as to what is going on when I could've had it done nice and professionally in a fraction of the time. Rod and/or Baypro: I'd still really appreciate a response as to what on earth happened. I'm sure there's an explanation and I'd love to hear it. read more

I bought 90min of cleaning service on groupon with this company, & after 2 weeks of trying to get a hold of someone, I finally had my call returned just to tell me he would not come to my house. I specifically looked up the service areas, & my city is listed, in 2 different areas. Bay Area flat out told me no. I told them I already spent my money, that it is false advertising, & his only response was it wasn't his problem, to take it up with groupon, that with the coupon, they do not have to go to all the cities listed.
