I needed a new vehicle but I was not in a hurry. I located a vehicle on their website that was reasonably priced and what I was looking for. Emailed the business and was immediately contacted back. Since it was the day before Thanksgiving I advised the salesman Mac that I would be by to take a look on "Black Friday". Mac greeted me and was hands down the easiest salesperson I've ever dealt with. I do not like being pressured, walked with, make deals on the fly. I like to look, test drive and feel the vehicle to see if I actually like it. I explained this to Mac and he was completely understanding of how I felt. I left Bayside to go to Fredericksburg and looked at about 6 different dealerships. Each one tried a tactic and tried to pressure me into a vehicle before I got feeling if I liked it. Multiple dealerships actually talked negatively of other dealerships. I'm not a fan of that since I know multiple sales people bounce from dealership to dealership. Not only that. The quality of vehicles they had where not up to "resale" standards. Saturday morning I called Mac and advised him I was on my way. Upon arrival and speaking with Mac. I stated I was not happy with the price I was given. He spoke to his supervisor "Chris" and came back with the number I was looking for. Hands down Mac and Chris made this the easiest purchase over all. I am very happy with Bayside and not sure why there's negative reviews on here about them but they will definitely get my business again in the future. read more

I wouldn't recommend Bayside CDJR of Annapolis. I made an appointment at 7:30 am for a oil change and tire rotation, said I would hear back around 1:00 PM. So I stop by to see if it was done 4.5 hours later, truck sitting out like it was completed, but they pull it out of the shop after the oil change and didn't complete the tire rotation. I asked why but they would not explain, why another vehicle was placed in front of my truck. Service tech says, well, I told you I was sorry and you need to accept my nonexplanation. Furthermore, you need to speak to me like an adult, well an adult doesn't take 4.5 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. I asked why a 7:30 appointment was made to service my vehicle and it sat for 4.5 hours? Response "I said I was sorry". There are a sorry organization. I wouldn't let them sell me or service another vehicle. This place is incompetent. Lost my business for good. Stay away from this dealership and service if you don't want to be disappointed. Unfortunately , Bayside also owns Bayside Kubota and its not much better. Never has parts even oil filters for tractors. Sad group, someone has a lot of money to waste. read more

Best car buying experience of my life. Dealt with Jeff, Issac, and Kim (finance). I got reasonable discounts on a jeep gladiator and a more than fair price on my trade. The process was as smooth as silk. My wife and I were treated with respect and we were in and out in almost no time. Started the process on the phone/via text. When we got there, EVERYTHING was ready to roll. Every single element of the sale. They literally greeted us as we pulled up. We probably could've been in and out of there in 15 to 20 minutes, But we were there for about 45 minutes because we enjoyed talking and hanging out. Everyone there is friendly, professional, and genuinely concerned about pleasing the customer. All of my questions were answered, all of my requests were met. Really felt at home. Do not purchase a vehicle from this dealership. The service department is an incompetent criminal enterprise. Numerous times I have taken the vehicle in for service under the maintenance package that I paid too much for only to have several warning lights come on as I leave the dealership. Washer fluid reservoir empty, tires under inflated after rotation. Makes me wonder if they performed any of the services they claim to do. Some of the nastiest customer service people I have ever encountered. Several times they attempt to shake me down to pay for work covered under warranty. The service department tells me they can't see what maintenance package I paid for and I need to speak to the finance department. This is a blatant lie. When I call FCA to complain everyone I speak to can see the service contract I purchased based on he VIN. Every oil change they bring out a filthy cabin air filter to show me and tell me it needs to be replaced. This is a lie. It's not the filter from my truck. When I ask if the filter is covered under my maintenance package they walk away and don't replace it. As I set in the waiting area I see them perform this scam on every customer. FCA makes great products but don't buy one from these people. read more

I've used their service 3 times, my stupidity! 1st: 2014 Wrangler under warranty, lights, electric all went haywire, Bayside diagnosed as clock switch in steering column, part was back ordered 6 months. I asked them to call manufacturer to see what they could do, they said they did but didn't. I called manufacturer rep couple days later and he said he would have part pulled off line and sent to dealer, fixed couple days later 2nd: 2019 Ram, bad exhaust manifold, recall. I called for appointment and service said they would need to diagnose first and would cost me diag fee, after arguing that I wasn't paying diag for recall they relented, next question, do you have upgraded manifolds in stock, yes. Brought truck in at requested time, next day, expecting it to be done, was told that I had 3 other trucks in front of me and would be another week! 3rd (and last): 2019 Ram, shift and park sense warnings, truck shifting to park on its own, made appointment online and dropped off Sunday. Monday I called to get status and was told they don't use their own f-ing online booking and I was behind 40 other vehicles. Once again, after arguing on phone with Mike, he agreed to do the diag for $169, but couldn't do any work for 2 weeks. Calls next day, says they 'believe' the problem is bad battery that they will replace for $400! Oh, and it needs a bunch of SW updates for another $300. At that point told them to cap at the 1 hr diag and I'll pick up. Extensive googling this morning pointed to problem most likely originating from bad ground or loose wire on Park Sense Module, and went out and reseated wires on PSM and all is fixed. Summary: of all the crooked dealers, these guys lead the pack, it's obvious if a 'code' can't fix the problem, they sure can't, but they'll pull every dollar they can from your pocket and send you back broke and still broken if you let them read more

Tags and title awful communication, had to call and have temp tags overnighted several times until real ones came in but they always let the date lapse or get to the day of lapsing and had to be called more than once to remind them to send. Was also told I would get a second set of Of Keys for preowned purchase which is in the brochure for bayside for life and then told no after purchase that I would be responsible for getting a second set made. Was told a new tag holder would be ordered and never heard back about that at all ( which wasn't a big deal but don't insist and tell someone your gonna take care of it and then not) would not purchase from here again. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!! Service Department does not function, took 2022 Dually in for new tires and alignment in Jun, which they kept for a few days. Once we picked it up, tires weren't aired up, noticed it was "shaking" when you went over 55MPH. Filled tires to correct PSI, checked all lug nuts etc, it took them 2 weeks to give us an "appointment". We dropped off night prior, told them everything and that tires probably needed balanced, both times our truck was there WE had to call to get updated - of course we called early afternoon on the day of the 1030 appointment and the response was they were working on it. By 1600 (Service Department closes @ 1700) we called to find out if we were even getting our truck back - oops, they said they needed to keep it for ANOTHER day so they could balance the tires. Next day I call for an update, had to call 3x because I was on hold for 5 min because they didn't pick up. Third times a charm, I had to ask the receptionist to check to see if there was even anyone in the Service Department, she actually got Mike to pick up the phone. Mike informed me that yes my truck was done and he was just "tallying up the invoice" I had to ask Mike to pull up the invoice from Jun, he said he seen we had an alignment, I had to explain to him that a Tire Balance should've been done when they put the new tires on & did the alignment & asked him again to pull the ticket to see that $1300 was for the new tires, not just an alignment! There needs to be some checks and balances on the work & the quality, some Leadership that knows what has & hasn't been done. we are understanding that people are over worked, but having customers go without their vehicles for multiple days because you failed to do the job correctly the first time is incompetent. I will now find ANOTHER Service Department and VERIFY they actually did my alignment. read more

I explained that it might help them to get their phone fixed and get their management involved only to be publicly shamed. They insulted my manhood and insinuated that I was a cancel culture liberal. Zero stars! Do NOT buy a car from Bayside King George, VA! They sold me a car without having the title! They kept making excuses as to why they didn't have the title. Everything we have been told is that they have 31 days in Virginia to provide the title. They sent me two sets of temporary tags (one month each) and offered to send me another. This was a used Toyota Camry with over a $16,000 loan. It was overpriced. We should have known not to buy after we found a broken clip holding the bumper on and they refused to fix it. Obviously, the car did not pass inspection and we paid to have this fixed, plus a busted fuel line and the inspection fee. Also, the car was filthy inside, and they refused to have it detailed. Employee price was 4K more than online price and was told online price was wrong. Advised them they need to correct that since that is false advertising and was 'educated' on proper definition of Bait-N-Switch. I have had the absolute worst experience I have ever had from any place I have ever been a customer at from bayside dodge. I am currently attached to Joint Task Force Dogwood and was previously attached to the 34th Cerfp Joint Task Force. I am in the national guard and have been on Active duty orders for the past year and a half responding to the covid 19 pandemic (that will be relevant in a bit) I dropped my Challenger off Monday July 12 and they called me letting me know that they were test driving it Tuesday at approximately 1700. I called them back Wed July 14 and they said they would call me back the next morning Thursday July 15. I never received a call so I called them around 1630 before they closed and I was told after being on hold for 10 minutes that they would call me Friday morning July 16. Friday morning I received no phone call so I called around 1500 I was told that I was gonna get a call back because the technician was busy and just then that the diagnostic they how much it would cost. I waited and received no phone call so I called back again at around 1600 and was put on hold for another 10 minutes only to be told that I would get another call Monday. So Monday july 19 comes i get a call in the morning. They tell me that they are going to replace the TCM and if that doesn't work then the cylainoids and that it would cost over $500 (which tells me they still don't know what going on. They also said they can't recreate the issue even though I told them Exactly how to do it) I then asked if they had a loaner vehicle as I am getting off active duty order now that covid is calming down. And must be able to drive to the base to do all my paperwork that is required. I asked about a loaner vehicle since they will have had mine for so long, They said they did not have any loaners available. (Even though they will have my car for about 2 weeks) my car is still there. I had to spend over $1000 yes that's a thousand dollars for a rental from enterprise on top of the fee I will have to pay to have my car repaired in order to be able to go up to Richmond to get my paperwork done and fulfill my obligations. If your vehicle is having issues your better off youtubing it and trying to fix it yourself then to take it here. read more
