The second inspection found 21 additional items, 19 of which were deemed significant and some were also safety concerns. Based on this second report, the Builder came back and made required repairs. This was brought to the attention of the owner of Eagle Eye, but there was no follow-up on his part (i.e., no offer to reimburse part of their inspection fee or anything). Based on this experience, I would not recommend using their service.

He inspected the house after it was completed and came back several times thereafter because my builder had not completed the items he identified. He prepared a report and supplemental reports that same day! He was always easily reachable by phone and very kind, helpful, honest, careful, friendly, and conscientious. His price was fair and reasonable. Do not build a home without calling Eric Espada! He was a lifesaver and saved me thousands of dollars - for sure, without him, in one year, I would have had a foundation that was falling apart because the grading of the land would have allowed water into the home and was aimed toward the home instead of away from it. I cannot say enough great things about Eric Espada. He was on my side and went to bat for me with the builder. He is the consummate professional who exceeded my already high expectations. I spppent $5000 to protect my new concrete driveway with Dry Zone's product Sealant Pro. However,…read moreafter an ice storm and salt was applied to the driveway, the surface was ruined. Dry Zone adverses "once applied, Sealant Pro works to blockwater and chemicals from gettiing into concrete.This protects the slab from the damaging effects of freezing and expanding water has on the concrete surface, virtually eliminating pitting, flaking, and spallng." It did nothing to protect my driveway. It's a mess! I am not sure what type of coating was put on , but I paid for Sealant Pro. They were no help at all in solving the problem and would not take any responsibility and did not respond when I asked for a referral for concrete engineer to determine whether the failure was on their part or on the part of the concrete company that did the installation. First, they said it was caused by the salt, then they switched to saying the concrete was bad.

The DZ technicians saved me from things like cracking/falling interior walls, 5 serious cracks in the house's foundation needing a vapor barrior, laying a waterproof floor and upgrading the old sump pump. This week Drew, the whiz DZ Team rep, came to perform a thorough annual checkup on all the work DZ had previously done, took various moisture level readings etc. and answered all my questions clearly.
