However I will say that the physical therapy offered here is definitely out of place, in a good way. Juan is very knowledgeable in the practice and cares about healing you to the best of his ability. His main priorities are stated and reflected in his work. He wants to get you back to how you were before. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had at a medical office. I scheduled a 12:00 p.m. appointment for a pre-employment drug screen and a mandatory TB questionnaire for a healthcare position. I already had a valid TB test, but I still needed the physician to review the questionnaire and complete the required paperwork. When I checked in, I specifically showed the receptionist the questionnaire and asked if the physician would be able to fill it out. She initially told me yes. Then she argued with me, saying they couldn't complete it because I already had a TB test. I explained that I understood my TB test was still valid, but I still needed the questionnaire completed. After that conversation, I was left with the understanding that the physician would address it during my visit. At no point was I told they would ultimately refuse to complete the paperwork. I had a 12:00 p.m. appointment but wasn't seen until almost 2:00 p.m., and I didn't leave until around 3:00 p.m. I spent approximately three hours there for what should have been a simple pre-employment visit. To make matters even more frustrating, there were several times when I was the only person sitting in the waiting room. Then other patients would arrive after me and appear to be called back before I was. I understand that different appointments may have different priorities, but no one ever explained the delay or kept me informed. While I was waiting, I could clearly hear conversations coming from the back office. At one point, I heard a staff member say, "I'm trying to print out this form for this girl and her TB test." Hearing employees discuss me that way where patients could overhear made the office feel unprofessional and uncomfortable. I completed the questionnaire and even had the staff print the required form because I wasn't able to print it myself. After waiting for hours, I was finally told they could not complete it because they "don't get paid" to fill out that paperwork because they were not contracted to do so. That information should have been given to me when I first arrived not after I had already waited for hours. If your clinic cannot complete certain employment forms, patients deserve to be told before they spend hours waiting. To make matters worse, they didn't even return the printed form so I could immediately take it somewhere else. My phone number was also entered incorrectly and was never corrected. Because of the unnecessary delay, I missed my bus, which only comes once an hour, forcing me to wait even longer just to get home. I left hungry, exhausted, frustrated, and still without the documentation I needed. I chose this location because it was the closest approved clinic available to me, and I don't currently drive. I didn't look at the online reviews until after my appointment. When I did, I was disappointed to see that several other people had also described long wait times for pre-employment drug screenings. Unfortunately, my experience was very similar. This entire situation could have been avoided with honest communication and respect for patients' time. Patients deserve to know up front what a clinic can and cannot do instead of finding out only after hours of waiting. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues so future patients don't have the same experience. read more

There was no one in the building but myself and my daughter. I was ask to wait outside in a dark parking lot which made me very uncomfortable. Although the waiting room was empty. We arrived at 8:30pm and 2 hours later she still had not seen the doctor. Has I remained in my car jumping at every sound. This is not the place to take your love ones that you are concerned about . I didn't snap photos of location as I was visiting to seek urgent medical care. I arrived around 1am with all doors locked asking to press the doorbell for assistance. The facility had all lights off and looks as if it was closed. The main entrance is locked and in effort to get in, you have to walk down what appears is an alleyway, but it's the opening from the side parking lot and side entrance. At night it can appear to look sketchy and unsafe. A man in crocs approached the door slightly opening it and appeared as if he was sleeping. The staff member asked if I needed help. Which was odd given it's an urgent care facility. I stated I did, however I was informed that there was only a provider available to assist via Tele-medicine which seems counterproductive. I was also informed they didn't even take my insurance so I had to leave and find another location. Helpful tip: call before arriving to see if there is a provider in house to help and see if they accept your insurance. I won't be returning to the place as it was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. read more

Stephanie, Fagbemi, is one of the worse doctors I've ever experienced. This care was sloppy and inconsiderate. She kept blaming the patient about when I came in to get my care . Her job is to care for my condition and give me advice on what I need to do next time to prevent it . She was laughing and talking to the front desk associate for 10-15 minutes. She rushed my care and was rough with me as well. I came back in to give her a chance to explain herself and she continued to blame me for when I came in and also said that her treatment so to say was a common courtesy. Service is terrible. I came with my son who was in extensive pain. The doors were locked and the girl who apparently got up from her nap to open the door. Everything had barriers when it came to the service and any questions we had. Maybe having someone who is attentive to those in dyer need. read more

I came in on 4/8/24 with a suspected fractured right 1st metatarsal. The doctor (who's name I never caught) examined both of my feet. But ignored my pain when he pushed and pulled to the point of pain on the right He had me get x-rays and told me that there was no break, but he said that he could see soft tissue damage and I just had a bone contusion and it's just going to hurt for a long time. He said I needed an ace bandage which I can buy at Rite aid. You can't see soft tissue damage on an x-ray. That's why MRI and CTs were invented. He then told me I should walk on my foot as much as possible. Which is the opposite of what every single orthopedic surgeon, doctor, peer reviewed article and Google search says. It's, in fact, said that walking on a bone contusion can cause a stress fracture and future arthritis. He told me that I needed to take ibuprofen,which, conviently, is included in his office's little display showing QR codes for "discounts" for his most commonly prescribed otc meds. That can't be ethical. I received absolutely no care. Not even the bare minimum of foot injury triage. I will never be coming back here. read more

Terrible. The doctor said I have a broken toe and wants to give me ibuprofen. I can buy that at the. Also have a cough from the flu and won't prescribe anything. Told me to get second opinion when they know I can only come to this urgent care. Don't waste your time here they are unhelpful and talk over you. Do not bother to come to this facility. I brought my daughter with ear ache, vertigo and they don't even let you in the door, they check that they take your insurance. Obviously I checked before coming, I brought her to this facility because it was closer than my usual urgent care, since the vertigo makes you nauseous I didn't want to have my daughter in a car ride for too long. They have a huge waiting area BUT they DON'T let you in. We are post pandemic and they are still living like we are in 2020 with no COVID resources. MY daughter didn't even have COVID. they make you wait in your car until they have "a room available" Anyone that's had vertigo knows the last thing you want is to be moving around. I was only allowed to take her into the room and i had to leave her, the room very poor condition. Right as you walk in through the back a trash can full of trash. Horrible. Horrible horrible! I'm not even blaming the staff as I'm sure they are following procedures put in place by WHOMEVER is running this facility. Never again coming here! One of the worst clinics ever. The waiting time is ridiculous. I waited for over 3 hrs for drug screen and physical exam. In the beginning everything was moving smoothly. Around 12pm no one was called into the office and they claimed they had no available rooms. The lady in the desk was rude and seemed bothered when I told her I had been waiting that long and still hadn't been seen. She told me I can go grab something to eat and come back that it closes at 4pm. I remained calmed and continued to wait. Why would I go and come back to wait another 3 hrs after?? I am reviewing on the pre-employment drug test only. Came in at nearly 10pm (yay, 24 hour clinic) and there was no one there waiting. I only waited 4 min after registering to get the cup and do the thing. They provided locking drawer to put my purse (since you're not allowed to bring it in - people may try to tamper with the test) and gave me the key. I had clear instructions on what to do and it didn't take long at all to sign stuff once I was done. I think I was in and out in about 10 minutes! So for the people worried about a potentially long wait, it's worth coming in late. 10/10 would pee here again read more

This has to be the worst clinic I have ever been to. The staff has no idea what they are doing. With a 3 year old with a fever, they have had me waiting over an hour - mind you, I called and made a telehealth appointment. My insurance referred me here for my daughter and let me just say, yes they "see" children BUT they ARE NOT allowed in the lobby and when asked they said the reasoning behind this was they also take care of workers comp cases and don't want children exposed to chemicals which makes no sense seeing as how any major chemical spill would cause someone to go to an ER not an URGENT care. The entry nurse was suuuuper rude. Obviously will Not be coming here again and definitely do NOT recommend for any family since no kids allowed in, you have to wait in your car in the parking lot and go through the side "ONLY for POLICE" door. Cleanliness was obsolete, just non existent. Not family friendly. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one person ahead of me. I was brought into a room after only 20 minutes. Staff was very friendly. The PA was extremely friendly and thorough. She made sure I could breathe well before having me leave and went over care instructions multiple times. I am very pleased and will definitely go back if in Updated on 10/28/19 Went back around 7 am because I was having difficulty breathing. After an hour of waiting I was told my insurance wouldn't cover the visit and I would have to pay $125 to see there doctor. We use them to pre-screen potential employees and for work related injuries They have always been professional, courteous, and thorough in providing the necessary care to both my employees and to our office for billing. This is a top notch facility that sets the standard for others to emulate. We have used a few different ones before we found Bayside. my mother has had a redness or irritation that's been occurring in her eye 2 times in the last month. we are traveling very soon and she wanted to get it checked out before leaving. we arrived at 1:30pm and checked in. we've been waiting in our car for 2-1/2 hrs and they claim that one of the male employees came out to call for her. all he did was look at the door and walk back in. he never said a name, never approached any cars in the parking lot. then proceeded to make us wait another 40 minutes. terrible communication, terrible customer service and no sense of urgency. I came across Bayside Medical Center and they were able to accommodate me for a same day appointment. Their staff is very helpful, friendly and organized which was a plus for me! They talked me through the entire testing process and answered all the questions I had. I received my negative results the very next morning. I would definitely recommend them. The wait times for this establishment were terrible. Came in for a DMV physical and a drug test, which should not have taken very long. Two hours later they started seeing patients that checked in after me. I asked what order they were taking the patients in, the woman responded "first come first serve". I explained I was the first one here and she said that I would be seen soon. In the end my wait time was 2 and a half hours. Much longer than necessary.
