They are listed as GIA trained and certified so I trusted taking my GIA diamond ring to them. I first called in to see if their appraisal specialist was there and found out it is a family owned jeweler and the son is a GIA trained diamond specialist, he was very kind over the phone and welcomed me to come in same day for an appraisal. He not only did appraisals, but ring cleaning and rhodium plating if needed during the process. The store is located in a cute little shopping center with a simply elegant storefront. The store is very secure and safe with two locked doors to enter and exit. We were met by the son, Michelangelo, who was very pleasant to work with. He explained the process to me and that he could do everything right now in front of me. This was a huge relief because a lot of jewelers say you drop off your diamond and they will call you to come back when the appraisal is complete. I did not feel comfortable leaving my diamond with anyone, but Michelangelo assured me everything would be done right in front of me. He pulled out his microscope to read my GIA number on the side of my diamond and even let me look through the lenses to show me where my number was located as well. The entire process took about 10 min, which was extended longer because we were talking so much and he was teaching me about my diamond. He said he does a lot of custom pieces so we talked about a custom wedding band for my fiancé. Overall, very pleased with this experience. Michelangelo was extremely knowledgeable and had great customer service. I highly recommend Geneva Jewelry not only for jewelry appraisals, but for beautifully crafted custom jewelry pieces.

My daughter thinking it was a great deal because thats what the lady said left her watch there. An adult was NOT with her and did not consent to the work being done. When she returned t lo tell the lady she didnt want the battery the woman told her it was too late. The woman refused to give her back the watch after we told her we didn't want the battery. The woman claimed that the cancelation fee was $20 and the battery was $20. Needless to say she kept the watch and would not give it back to a 12yr old. The cops were called and they told us it was a civil matter. I will also be reporting them to the BBB!

I took my watch in today for a new battery, he quoted me $19.95 and said to come back in 20 minutes. When I went back to pick it up he wanted $22.50, when I protested he claimed the additional fee is for sales tax, I responded that sales tax doesn't apply to labor, he claimed that his store charges sales tax on value. This is not only a proposterous statement it is also illegal. Sales tax, by the way, is 8.75% at Tyler Mall and only applies to a product not labor. He is perhaps defrauding the public as well as his employer. I am thinking of filing a complaint with the California Board of Equalization which is the agency in charge of sales tax collection. read more

I was overcharged an extra $100 Dollars on a $50 dollar watch and I was denied a refund and was told that my only option was to either keep the watch or exchange it. The salesman tried playing dumb and gave me a card with the store owners phone number on it however when I tried calling the number in front of him he immediately told me not to and that it was actually the store number. Never go to this store unless you want to get horrendously ripped off read more

I came in to have batteries replaced in a few watches, and received exceptional customer service. Bobby greeted me warmly and had my watches finished in only 10 minutes. Bobby noticed that I also had with me a pair of sunglasses with a broken hinge, and he fixed them for free! Every item in the store is horrendously overpriced. Many of the watches are prices $100 or $200 over the normal retail cost that could be found at Amazon even for watches that would usually be worth $30-$40. Never go to this store unless you want to be completely ripped off with horrible costumer service to top it off read more
