Vazquez Jewelry Repair did an amazing job resizing my ring from a size 9 to an 8.25 for just $40. I can't see any damage or changes--it's like nothing happened! The ring fits perfectly, and the craftsmanship is flawless. They did charge $2 for using credit card, but I think the price is still worth it! I've come here before to get my watch resized and had a great experience, so I brought my boyfriend in to get his chain bracelet resized and once again, it was amazing service! The owner is so kind and genuine. He resized the bracelet in about five minutes and didn't even want to charge us, which we thought was incredibly generous. He still took the time to do the work and didn't take advantage of the situation. It's rare to find such honesty and wholesome energy in a business these days. Luis has fixed some of my mom's jewelry for a number of years now and so I thought I would ask him to make a ring for me similar to a fake ring I bought on line. He made it for me and I love it. He's really an artist with repairs and design. I love the ability to talk to the jeweler and not just the salesperson behind the counter who really doesn't know what all is involved. Luis' pricing is fair and he has reasonable turn around times. His shop is small and humble but he is a good man and you can tell from his shop that he was born to do this work and he loves it. read more

I took my wedding ring which had lost a few baguettes and he did an amazing job adding new baguettes and tightening all of the prongs so I would not lose anymore. I took an antique silver necklace to Vasquez after reading a myriad of positive reviews on this site. Those reviews were spot on. Vasquez shortened the silver necklace that was lined with turquoise in less than an hour. He suggested that the excess silver/turquoise be turned into a bracelet or anklet. $20 for everything. I came in because of the good reviews and because my engagement ring lost a diamond forever ago but I just now had the money to replace it. Vazquez is situated in a tiny office and as soon as I walked in, I was like "this guy has to be a genius" because it just had that air about it. Stuff all over the place but you knew it all had a rhyme and reason. Vasquez is super nice when we walk in and he helps me with my ring size, gives me the cost of dipping my ring and wedding band, cleaning it, adjusting the ring size, and replacing the diamond. It was very affordable. And he did an amazing job. My rings look brand new and I could not be happier. read more

They are listed as GIA trained and certified so I trusted taking my GIA diamond ring to them. I first called in to see if their appraisal specialist was there and found out it is a family owned jeweler and the son is a GIA trained diamond specialist, he was very kind over the phone and welcomed me to come in same day for an appraisal. He not only did appraisals, but ring cleaning and rhodium plating if needed during the process. The store is located in a cute little shopping center with a simply elegant storefront. The store is very secure and safe with two locked doors to enter and exit. We were met by the son, Michelangelo, who was very pleasant to work with. He explained the process to me and that he could do everything right now in front of me. This was a huge relief because a lot of jewelers say you drop off your diamond and they will call you to come back when the appraisal is complete. I did not feel comfortable leaving my diamond with anyone, but Michelangelo assured me everything would be done right in front of me. He pulled out his microscope to read my GIA number on the side of my diamond and even let me look through the lenses to show me where my number was located as well. The entire process took about 10 min, which was extended longer because we were talking so much and he was teaching me about my diamond. He said he does a lot of custom pieces so we talked about a custom wedding band for my fiancé. Overall, very pleased with this experience. Michelangelo was extremely knowledgeable and had great customer service. I highly recommend Geneva Jewelry not only for jewelry appraisals, but for beautifully crafted custom jewelry pieces.

Yelp perfection!! Today is my anniversary and so I decided to have my wife's wedding ring cleaned and polished. She also had a very special diamond ring that belonged to her mother that I thought was missing 8 or 9 small diamonds. So I searched Yelp for the top rated jewelry repair shop in my area and found Luis Vaxquez of Vazquez Jewelry Repair. I drove by his shop and he examined the heirloom diamond ring and told me it was not missing any diamonds at all but was just very dirty. While I waited Luis cleaned and polished both diamond rings. They both looked brand new once he was done. My wife was very happy!! Also, I had taken with me a watch that I had gotten for my birthday that I had never worn because the band was too big. Luis quickly adjusted it. Finally at the last minute I asked Luis to straighten my slightly bent wedding ban. He quickly did it and polished that ring also. It has not looked so good in decades! Here is the amazing part. I asked him how much and he said $20. I was shocked!! (I had expected to spend up to $1,000 to get the missing diamonds replaced.) He quickly swiped my debit card and with a smile said "Thank You!" Simply amazing quality and service. I never write reviews but I had to come back home and write this one right away. I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the service I received from Vazquez's Jewelry Repair, a business I had trusted for over five years. In January 2025, I brought in a 14k gold ring with an Australian opal to be resized. Unfortunately, the opal was cracked due to the jeweler's careless handling--placing it in a cleaning machine with heavy silver items. He acknowledged the damage and assured me he would repair it, stating he had a lapidary contact who could source a replacement opal. Despite repeated follow-ups over the next six months, I received only vague excuses. After two additional months, I requested the return of my ring, which took another two weeks. I then purchased two replacement opals myself and offered them for mounting, but was told they were not the exact size and that I would need to seek a lapidary specialist independently. This entire process spanned nine months, during which I was strung along with empty promises. I now believe there was no genuine intent to resolve the issue. I am extremely disappointed and feel misled. I trusted this business to act responsibly and honor its commitments. Need some links taken out of my new watch I bought at Sam's Club. I called 3-4 other local jewelry sites and they all wanted a high price to just remove 2 links. I went on the web under jewelry repair shops in my town and found this place. I went that day and Mr. Vazquez fixed it for right then for $5.00!!! As a Graduate Gemologist, G.I.A., familiar with quality, and having worked in jewelry industry for 15 years, he does an excellent job!!! He can do very intricate semi-custom repair work. Just stopped by this weekend for a ring resizing. Only took about 30 mins so I waited for the ring and it turned out AMAZING! This place was very reasonably priced which I loved!
