Not much time when moving from coast to coast. We knew we wanted to own our next home. We knew that this would be no small feat with only 1 month to work with. Especially since we didn't have a home picked out and weren't under contract yet! After looking at a lot of homes online and scouring the internet for a realtor, I decided on the Hiller Group. We found a house we loved, but unfortunately it went under contract before I made the call to the Hiller Group. Daniel responded very quickly and got us several listings in the area matching our needs (some were not even listed on realtor.com or Zillow) and we quickly fell in love with a home. When we contacted Daniel about the property he quickly arranged to go to the property to do a showing via video call since we were in California and gave us his honest opinion and recommendations throughout the walkthrough. My husband and I quickly fell in love with the property. Daniel, respectfully gave us time to discuss it but my husband and I had already made our minds up so we quickly called Daniel back and asked him to draw up the contract. Daniel was very responsive and got the contract to us quickly for signing according to our wishes and delivered to the seller for approval. We just beat someone else on submitting a contract and since we were quicker the sellers went with our offer. We then transitioned to Bryanna who assisted us through the escrow process. Bryanna kept us well informed throughout the entire process and answered all of our questions. When we made it to Florida, days before closing, she and Paige met us at the property so we could walk through the property in person and answered our questions. Paige was at our closing prepared to answer our questions and to welcome us to Florida! Such a seamless transaction from start to finish! I highly recommend the Hiller Group to anyone. I hired this surveying company to stake a portion of my property line so I could add part of a…read morefence. Unfortunately, my experience was not good. If you know your exact property lines already and just need a survey to be done for administrative purposes, they're probably great and their prices are low. On the first attempt, the stakes for my property were placed extremely far off--over 17 feet (north) INTO my property one way, and 7 feet inside of our property another way--and the front part of our yard isn't even that wide. It was obvious without measurements, as the line ran through the middle of my front yard. Additionally, he staked into my already-fenced in back yard - insinuating that I had fenced several feet of my neighbor's yard as my own. I got out my old survey and confirmed this was wrong. I raised my concerns right away, and they agreed to redo it but the owner insisted that the same person come back out, despite my request for someone else (I was concerned because it was SO off. I do have photos & videos of everything). Initially, I was told the error was due to them relying on our old survey 'as a base'; however, I was able to confirm their mistakes by reading that same survey myself (I bought a measuring wheel for accuracy) which suggests it was not interpreted correctly. The second attempt was much closer, but still not accurate for the middle of our property. We decided we needed it redone after they left the 2nd time, so we were able to get accurate results afterward. I did not receive a full survey document, as I only needed accurate staking. Unfortunately, accuracy was the main issue here, and that's critical when it comes to property lines. While they did come back to try to correct the mistake, the final result still was not reliable enough for my needs, even though it was better.
