Every time my husband has had to call Dr. Bench's office, he is always promised a call back from the nurse. Never gets one. Called again in the afternoon to beg for a simple refill of his prescription. Was promised it would be called in within an hour. Never happened. My husband is miserable; whereas, a simple call to refill his prescription would have eased his pain. Thats all this office is good for is to line people up like cattle and give them allergy shots and collect their insurance money.

In addition to being terrific like everyone in the Merced office, NP Sharma was very helpful in explaining to me, in great detail, the various issues that come into play with my allergies. He is a very kind, knowledgeable, and patient medical professional. I completed a full schedule of tests, and I'm fully aware of what I am allergic to and how to better address them with appropriate treatment at Baz, along with things I can do on my own. After my fourth attempt, I requested a callback and was told it would be about 10 minutes but I never received one. What makes this especially concerning is that I'm currently dealing with asthma issues and was trying to reach them for help. When you're in that kind of situation, accessibility and responsiveness really matter. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here. I hope they can improve their communication and responsiveness, especially for patients who may be dealing with urgent health concerns.

Deborah is so thorough, patient, gentle and kind. I just wish we lived closer as we drive almost 3…read morehours to see her, but she is so worth it! Her BIE treatments have been more effective than allergy shots for our 13-year-old son. They are much less painful and expensive too (with our insurance plan). He was allergic to so many environmental and seasonal stressors, including cats, pollen, mold, trees, and weeds. Bed so much better now and days he can breathe through his nose as soon as he's treated. BIE can also effectively treat more allergens than allergy shots. Mold is a good example. This past year, our son also developed many food intolerances, and Deborah has helped tremendously with those as well. Our son is so happy that he can eat his favorite foods again, including dairy, various meats, pastas, and tomato sauce.

With only two sessions, the heartburn has been eliminated. I knew the heartburn was related to the combination of pain meds and supplements I was taking. He respects your research. He respects your doubts and worries. If you have a question, he will listen and answer. There was one time when we had an emergency situation. We called in for an appointment with Dr Garcia after we got back from the Emergency care at Sutter (which was pointless and a mere money pit) and they accommodated us that very afternoon. We were very very stressed out and worried and anxious. Dr Garcia stayed with us way over his office hours to discuss and answer all the million questions we had, assuring us our boy would be fine. Never for once rushed us. We realized we had stayed late only after we got out of the office. He cares and he remembers. If I were a doctor, I would have wanted to be like him. Not patronizing. Got to his appointment to find a sign posted on their door saying they would be closed. Very unprofessional to say the least. How hard can it be to call or leave a quick voicemail if no one answers the phone. I walked in the urgent care and the receptionist there mentioned he wasn't even aware they would be closed so that goes to show their communication is just not there. Leaving the office I ran into two other patients who didn't know their appointment was also canceled and again no call or voicemail was left. Im not one to hop on here and leave reviews but this is very upsetting time, gas and learning time was wasted. Will not be returning.
