The owner is so nice and was so great at suggesting styling items for us. Her line Molly Bracken is adorable and her curated vintage items are amazing. This is the BEST clothing store I've visited in the last decade! There's nothing like it in Palm Springs, or Seattle, or anywhere else. It was immediately clear that the owner was from France, because her pieces were curate - each had something uniquely special about them. Affordable ($49 top, $59 dress), elegant, slightly sexy and packable. Just ask Marie what her current favorite pieces are. My sisters and I had a weekend away in Palm Springs and spent time at several vintage and thrift shops while we were there. We are most glad that we stopped at Bazar. We entered a cozy shop full of vintage and modern clothing, jewelry, and shoes, as well as the most welcoming and warm owner. She told us stories about the different dresses we picked up from the vintage section, and was just so overall wonderful. My sisters and I purchased beautiful clothing, earrings, and a purse. Each time my girlfriend and I meet in Palm Springs, our first stop is the little French Bazaar boutique. No matter how much we promise ourselves we will just look, we walk out the door with dresses, skirts, tops, plus a hat, or a bag, or other accessories. All of Bazaar's clothing are made with quality material and the designs are unique, usually French. Laurent (the owner along with his wife) moved here from France a few years ago and is welcoming and delightful. read more

This is hands down our favorite store in Palm Springs. My wife and I are frequent visitors to the desert and never fail to find unique authentic French items to purchase and bring back home. My wife lived in Paris, and absolutely loves the charming collection of clothing, art and accessories chosen by the wonderful French owner who is always on site, and still has a store back in the City of Light. Our home has some great framed vintage posters on the walls from Bazar, and I have even added some hard-to-find Classic record albums to my collection! My husband and I love Bazar so much. Whenever we visit Palm Springs (about 2 or 3 times a year when Santa Barbara gets cold and foggy) we have a tradition of hiking in the morning, having brunch at Pinnochio's and then visiting Bazar across the street to find the cutest French items and if I am lucky, some unique clothes for me. Some of my favorite dresses are from Bazar. We also have gotten vintage wall prints, albums from the 1970s and 60's, and French soaps and lotions. The owner is a lovely woman (and also newly transplanted from Paris so her inventory is the real deal) has great taste and always knows what will look good on you. Bonus fact, her family also owns the incredibly good Atelier Cafe nearby and serves the best best french breakfasts and sandwiches. I lived in Paris for a time in my life and both Bazar and Alerier Cafe really bring me back to that time in my life! If we could give 10 stars we would!!!! read more

We just returned from my first visit to Palm Springs and while we were there my son and I stopped into Bazar. Prior to our trip I read some reviews online and I was thrilled when we actually stumbled on it while out shopping. What a delightful find! Such lovely vintage pieces mixed in with some new items as well. Everything from jewelry to framed prints to vintage purses, shoes, jackets...such a lovely mix of items in a darling store. Bazar has that great vibe - you could browse around and lose track of time just taking in all the store has to offer. I purchased a necklace on Black Friday and liked it so much I went back the next day to buy one for a friend. Even though the Black Friday special was over, the owner honored the sale price the second day. The owners are a delightful couple and are so welcoming and friendly. Look for this store when you travel to Palm Springs and bring home a little something to treasure. read more
