Update to my horrific experience with Mattress Showroom, where the 1400.00 I spent, went to waste. My beautifully comfortable and supportive cooling mattress arrived from Bob's Furniture today. I was treated with the utmost concern and professionalism by their associate, Abbe who helped to "comfort fit" me to the exact support I needed. She was polite and knowledgeable and did all she could to make sure I'd be satisfied. Save yourself a major headache and a lot of money by checking out Bob's. What a bunch of lies and losers !!!!! I decided on a mattress and was talked into signing up for some 100 day free financing for $125 / month. Well, that turned out to be $371.71 per month !!!!! Delivery - was supposed to also get a mattress protector upon delivery. The delivery people were barely out of driveway and I called them ( I had their number because the idiots couldn't find the address so they called me) and they said they were stopping to get gas. I said I would come and pickup my mattress protector. Then, all the sudden they weren't getting gas, they were going back to warehouse and would be back in 30 minutes. Never saw the jerks again. This review is purely based on the showroom service. My wife and I stopped in here last weekend to price several mattresses for our new vacation home in Cathedral City. Ken greeted us, asked what we were looking for, firmness, budget, etc. and proceeded to show us several models He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, yet relaxed and friendly and set us at ease, especially when we're considering big-ticket items like mattresses. Mattress showroom in Cathedral City is great!!! I went in there with my boyfriend on Friday Oct 4th around 4pm and told the salesman Ken that we really needed to get a mattress set delivered that night. He didn't hesitate and said let's see what we can do. We told him we needed a King, showed us 2 different ones and we picked one and wrapped up the sale. He called the warehouse to add on our mattress to be dropped off and said they'd be there at my house within 30 mins. We pulled up and were surprised the truck was already there. Mattress Showroom seems to be stonewalling my warranty claim. I notified them about 5 months ago that my fairly new Stearns & Foster king is defective. They took months and eventually sent an inspector who indicated he saw the problem and noted that we had cared perfectly for the mattress. Still no follow-up and the only person they assign to deal with warranty claims has neither called nor returns my calls. I got the manufacturer involved and they have assured me Mattress Showroom would contact me to attend to my warranty claim. That's a month ago. Crickets. My mattress sags in 2 places and has 3 ridges. I hope I don't end up with back issues or we'll talk a very different tune. This should not be happening. I've got a 10 year warranty but that shouldn't mean they get to wait 10 years before honoring the warranty. read more

We have bought a number of beds in the past several years, as we own many properties. This is our second purchase here in the last few months. By far the best mattress store in the valley. And, here's the kicker....you can sleep on it for 4 months, if it's not a good fit, bring it back for exchange! Nobody should ever but a mattress from them. They sold me a Diamond Mattress and it's defective. They could care less. There is no warranty. The store doesn't back anything they sell. You have to go to the manufacturer and they just blow you off. Thus, everyone has to beware of lying salesman. read more

She is the best in that store and we went in TWICE ( I think 3 times) asking 700 questions on "firm" vs "soft" vs serta vs pillowtop etc... This lady knows her merchandise and products!! I have to say the way she goes about asking you about your mattress is excellent. She asked me questions and then paired me up with what I would match!! SHE NAILED IT!!! She was so sweet and smiling the whole time. She could have sold me more expensive models but she did what no real sales people do anymore and that is demonstrate excellence. Here's why: She paired me with what would feel best and work out. I got the firm diamond mattress and she was 100% RIGHT. My back is better and i feel more rested! It is PERFECT FOR MY SIDE SLEEPING!! It's been about a month and she truly knows her product, I am still satisfied and will only buy from them again, I have been through my share of mattresses, BELIEVE ME, YOU. Exactly what I was looking for. An inexpensive mattress set for the spare bedroom. With Stephanie's help it took me literally minutes to check out the options - which I am grateful for. I got a nice comfortable queen mattress set, the frame, free same day delivery and set up for $450 out the door. And I was able to go home, think about it, call her back, pay over the phone and have it delivered that evening. The delivery guys took about 4 mins total - fastest team I have ever seen. Great service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ken is the man!! He gave me lots of information on all the mattresses they sell and some they don't. He really wanted me to get the mattress that was right for me. I went in looking for a conventional mattress, but ended up trying a Temperpedic. I always take a very long time making the best decision when I am buying any higher ticket item. Ken never made me feel like I was wasting his time or taking too long to decide. I was in there a LOT before I decided on a Temperpedic. They delivered the mattress in a very timely fashion. I slept on it for almost the entire trial period and decided that Temperpedic was not for me. I had absolutely no hassle in doing an exchange for the Stearns and Foster mattress I now have. The old mattress was exchanged for the new the very next day. I had a little problem with the adjustable bed frame that I bought also, but Ken helped me contact Temperpedic regarding that and they sent a technician right out. All fixed. I'm posing this because of the bad service in this place, we bought a mattress queen size after a month we have to change it because it was very uncomfortable, well after paying again for delivery and other fee to change it they replace it for another one soft core, the mattress literally is already ruined in one side ,after 3 months of normal use is sinking in my partners side.... well we call again and after many calls and complains make us 50 usd for another person to come and check the matters well is being 7 months from the original purchase and is not time for that company to replay , they are always busy when you call and when you go to that place there's nobody buying In the store I don't recommend to anybody to buy anything there avoid the bother dealing with that people bad service , bad quality in the Serra mattress and what they show in the TV is all lies. read more

I was moving and needed a new mattress. The old mattress was a terrific one that i purchased 10 years earlier at Mattress Showroom so I went there first. Carmen told me my old mattress was discontinued but she showed me new mattresses made by the same manufacturer. I tested out a few but was hesitant because the one I felt was best for my needs was outside my budget. I had shopped online and knew i could get a pretty good mattress, in store, for what I wanted to pay. Carmen did some quick calculation and came up with a price that was a perfect fit. My husband and I were looking to replace a 20 year old (though still quite good) Sealy Posturpedic king mattress. Stephanie Barton was incredible. She was the opposite of "hard sell," but instead was knowledgeable and helpful. When we said this was the first place we had looked and we needed to look elsewhere, she gave us advice about some things to look out for - last year's mattresses, pro-rated warranties (vs 10 year full warranties), etc. We went to two other mattress sellers - also well respected - they didn't compare to Stephanie and the product line in Mattress Showroom. I bought a mattress from this place the other day, don't get me wrong, it's a nice mattress and it was at a very decent price the nice sales lady even gave us $100 off, but I would have preferred to pay the extra hundred dollars and gone somewhere else after this nightmare. While delivering my mattress they had knocked my light off of my ceiling, which was no big deal accidents happen all the time. They said the delivery guys couldn't fix it right at the time and they would have someone out as soon as possible, nobody showed up that day, so I called at about 8:30 spoke to Gabriel about it and he said he was so sorry and he would have a "professional" out the next day, the next day came and the "professional" gives us a call at 7:30am. After missing his call I called the showroom back to see what happened and they informed me that he called and left a message and that I should call him back to schedule a good time for him to come, so I called him yesterday, we agreed on 9 am today, I sent him pictures I sent him my address, and all was good. It is now, 12 pm and he still has not shown up, and when I call the showroom they tell me he has "forgotten" but he's only in the next city over so he could come now. I guess it's too bad I have things to do and can't sit around and wait for him to come all day, so I'm hoping they will reimburse me like they said they will when I get it fixed myself. read more
