My friend suggested we try this Korean bbq chicken place which she's had before. I put in an order online and my friend picked it up. I know the store is located on a corner in a shopping plaza. They have parking but not too many. My friend said the service was good, she was in and out in no time. She said the inside was like any fast food place, chill and relaxed. The menu offers mostly chicken, boneless, whole or wings. I got boneless with spicy galbi flavor. And cheese fries. I got the 8 piece chicken, they also offer more sizes as well. Honestly the size was more than enough. The chicken pieces were big, and the flavor was good but it was just so heavy. Also the boneless pieces are not just the white breast, which I was hoping for. The cheese fries had more ketchup on them than cheese, which was very disappointing. I'm willing to try it again, just maybe a different flavor and next try I would try the wings. read more

Insisted that it wasn't ordered even though I had called ahead, had a credit charge and a receipt with an email stating it was ready for pick up at that exact address. He refused to give me my order and I left. Cut to today (a week later) I gave them the benefit of the doubt and re-ordered. Picked up this time but everything about this order felt wrong. Bb.q is always great, but I think this location is one of the best. The quality is always fantastic, and they never disappoint. Not only is their Korean fried chicken on point, their customer service and resolution of issues is really fantastic. I've ordered from this location several times for myself and my coworkers and more recently we've been ordering for our bowling team for our Thursday league. Last weekend, they accidentally gave us soy garlic instead of Galbi (still delicious), but they immediately came up with a resolution for us for the mix-up. If you've never ordered from here and aren't sure what to get - get a group together and try a little bit of everything. My favorite is the Galbi hands down. I know Galbi sauce isn't traditionally for chicken, but the sweet, smokey sauce is everything I want for my wings and I can't get enough. I've accidentally been given the spicy Galbi before and it's not intolerable in spice level, but I would try the regular first just to really be able to appreciate the flavor. Soy Garlic is my husband's favorite and the classic is always good for those who don't like sauced wings. GET THE ROSE TTEOKBOKKI!! I am obsessed and though I've tried recreating it at home getting all of the ingredients from HK market, I just can't quite make it as amazing as bb.q. I'm not a big fan of kimchi, but my coworkers rave about the kimchi fried rice, so I know it's also amazing. We recently tried the dumplings and they're also great - my husband couldn't get enough. I had a major craving for Korean fried chicken because I'd just had it a few weeks ago in the motherland, and to my surprise, it tasted just like it did in Korea--that same crisp, light crunch with juicy chicken underneath and the flavor exactly on point. Everything was clearly freshly made, and you can tell the oil is clean and new, which really lets the juiciness and flavors come through (no heavy, old-oil aftertaste at all). The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful, and my order was ready a couple minutes earlier than the estimated time--so I got to eat it super fresh. Order of a whole chicken box and a few wings cost us around mid $50. Parking is limited and shared among 7-Eleven and Subway stores. No ev chargers are available here. When entering or exiting, please be very careful because the concrete fenced opening is so narrow that you may scratch the side of the car. First time eating here. I usually eat at the Northridge location. I went in and ordered 8 piece Hot mala. I enjoy the wings since they're crunchy and the hot mala is my favorite. I get something totally different and soggy wings. I'm told they changed the flavor. I wished they would have said this before ordering. Also the ranch was not the usual ranch that's offered. Everything I ordered was so good. The original spicy has a pop of heat in each bite and the chicken is crispy and not oily. The soy garlic is sweet but not too sweet with no heat at all. My only complaint is the price. It's pretty pricey for chicken wings. Everything is cooked as you order and not sitting under a heat lamp so it's definitely worth the wait. Just me and my son rest of the family is out so he loves Korean fried chicken and this location just opened so we decided to give it a try. The place is really more for to-go/ deliveries as there's only 2 tables. We got honey wings medium and kimchi fried rice to go. They told us it'll take 17 mins and it was on time and ready on the time. Chicken was crispy and sauce on it was well integrated - similar to kyochon but I think this has a better color and crunchier. Kimchi fried rice was good too and just the right amount of spice. Place is clean and well lit - I suggest calling ahead, the guy at the counter told me that I can call ahead as I asked for the to-go menu. Friendliest staff plus amazing food. Everything here is so good the portions are big and I usually end up sharing even the small chicken or saving it for leftovers. Overall really great restaurant tiny but they are so quick and kind always.
