I had an amazing dinner at gengis khan , food was hot , employees were nice . And there were plenty of places to sit . I do have one thing that opened my eyes a little They're charging more than 3% credit card fee .. they're charging 3.4% which is not much of a difference but for companies like this . They rely on you not wanting the receipt or even checking so they can scam you out of money ... not only that but the tax they're charging 10% which is a federal law , which will be reported , they have a tendency to delete my review , but I'm only bringing light to this situation , I will be contacting the bbb about the incident ...

This place has some of the best Mongolian BBQ ever.. The ingredients are always fresh- both meats and veggies look, smell and taste wonderful. I absolutely love the sauce options, I always get medium AND spicy, lemon juice, garlic and all the other things they add to make it perfect- saucey noodles are what I come for! The portions are nice and hefty, I appreciate that. The restaurant is tucked in a nook, but was very clean and well kept when I went today. 7/30, a little after 11am, the lady helping us at the register was sooooo kind, happy and sweet, she took extra care of us! Will absolutely come back!

    They pile the noodles high!

This is a nice spot to create a custom plate of really hot and fresh noodles. There's plenty of options but I wish they sliced the green onions and cilantro a bit more . The single bowl is easily good for two meals.

This is my childhood so this place gets a nostalgia factor boost HAHA They keep everything nice and clean (except the bottom of the tray can get a little sticky...) The flavors differ depending on who is pouring your sauces but overall for the price point (~$15) in this economy, I think it's a solid choice! Make sure you pack that frozen meat down to get the best bang for your buck ;)

    Perfect for a rainy day!

My man G.K. knows how to... Throw a dinner party... Host a lunch date... And if you're down for noodles at 10 a.m. ... Hook you up with a mean Mongolian Style Breakfast. This self serve, all you can fit in your bowl, Mongolian Style eatery is one of the newest food court options here at the Westfield Topanga Dining Terrace. It's simple: pay for your bowl, pack as much frozen meat (beef, chicken, pork, turkey) that you choose and top with as many veggies as you can stack high. At the end of the line, the staff will get you the sauces, mild/medium/spicy along with other options to make your bowl delish... They will add your bowl of goodies to their cooktop along with their Mongolian style noodles, or rice if you pay the difference. Now watch the magic happen! The cook with prepare your meal right in front of you and within minutes, you will be enjoy your handy work that you just stacked sky high. I've been here twice now and it's definitely a fan favorite already. Welcome to the neighborhood Gengis Khan!

Wow this spot was a definite yes! So freakin delicious! It's a restaurant inside the topanga mall so it's a little busy but worth it! My co workers and I were amazed of how thick the noodles were! They were as thick as a pencil lol! Not really but close! The ingredients were very tasty and the seasoning and sauces were perfectly made. The service was quick! And they gave a good amount of food! Definitely worth it.

I love Gengis Khan soooooooo much! I've waited for the day that the topanga location opened up and the social media account was nice enough to send me a message as soon as it opened! It's awesome they have the combo meal for $16 and some change you get a small drink, side of rice, soup, and your meal! I stopped by for lunch and it was a great decision. The service is quick and the spot is very clean. You get to choose any meat, veggies, seasonings you'd like. It's very fun and you know exactly what's going into your food! I definitely recommend and will mentioning to everyone that they're open!

Want noods all day this is the to go place for yummy egg noodle with any choice of meat and veggies that you can fit all in a bowl or hanging off your bowl to be exact. Love the help from the cook when they add sauces to your bowl after adding all the noods. May I have it spicy! Yes please! Prices are higher from what I remember but still same good taste.

I had the noodles with pineapples, baby corn, beef, bean sprouts, and chestnuts and it was beautiful. Highly recommend coming to this place. Super quick and delicious.

My partner got the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, which was flavorful and comforting. We both grabbed sodas with our meals, and I appreciated that they had Sunkist. You don't see that at many places, and I love a good orange soda. The portions were generous, everything was fresh, and the flavors delivered. Service was great, too. The person at the front was super attentive, and I liked the mobile ordering station near the register. For anyone searching this spot on Yelp, just a heads-up that it's located inside the Northridge Mall. It's definitely worth checking out if you're craving some good noodles and dumplings. I'll for sure be back.

Very honest opinion: Not sure if I'm eating the same food as everyone else leaving reviews here,…read morebut I got the signature beef (Lanzhou) noodle soup combo and it was incredibly disappointing~mediocre. Server guy was chill. The food is served in a paper bowl, unlike the nice bowls you see in their pics. Tl;dr: if you're curious, don't waste your time, bafang is open 5min away Preface: I KNOW it's mall food, but for a restaurant that continuously pops up as #1 on Yelp whenever I search for food around the northridge/chatsworth area, I'm going to treat it as if it were a #1 spot. Beef noodle soup: to be very blunt, this was quite flavorless. The beef was dry as bones and looked like it was sliced with a mandoline. The noodles seemed undercooked and it felt like I was eating al dente spaghetti noodles. I got a medium spice level which didn't even seem that spicy, just a lot of cough inducing chili oil with no burn. Pan fried dumplings were ok. It honestly tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Unsweetened black tea: hands down the best of the 3 things in the combo, which is quite telling. Honestly you get a decent amount of food for $15. But to constantly take the top 5 for recommended on Yelp in this area and waste my time to even look at it, it definitely doesn't belong remotely close to top 10.

We stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch, and nostalgia definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The Jjolmyeon has always been our all-time favorite from the LA location, so ordering it was a no-brainer. And wow... it somehow tasted even better here! We also ordered the Yuk Kalguksu (육칼국수) and Gun Mandu (군만두), and everything hit the spot. The Yuk Kalguksu came with such a generous portion that I happily finished the noodles, enjoyed some of the rich, spicy broth, and still had enough soup and beef to box up for another meal. Talk about a bonus dinner! The mandu was perfectly crispy and paired so well with the refreshing, chewy jjolmyeon. For us, a restaurant earns a spot in our regular rotation only if it checks three boxes: delicious food, friendly service, and cleanliness. Hodori easily checks all three. In fact, I came back after work the very same day to pick up dinner for the family (because one visit clearly wasn't enough ). We ordered Galbi Ugeoji Haejangguk (갈비 우거지 해장국), Galbitang (갈비탕), Tteokbokki (떡볶이), Samgyetang (삼계탕), and Yukgaejang (육개장). I know some people have commented that the prices are high, but honestly... what isn't expensive these days? Have you seen the price of groceries lately? Restaurants have rent, employees to pay, quality ingredients, utilities, etc., so I'm not expecting 1995 prices in 2026. If the food is good and we leave happy, I'm good. We ordered a few soups, kimchi fried rice, and tonkatsu, and everything came out pretty quickly. It was a hearty meal and we definitely didn't leave disappointed. And here's the real selling point for tired parents: they have TWO large screens. One plays Disney and the other has sports. Brilliant. Everyone gets what they want, and Mom and Dad can actually finish a meal while it's still hot. That alone deserves bonus points. They're also connected to a boba shop next door, which we didn't get a chance to check out this time. But we'll definitely be trying it on our next visit. Overall, a nice addition to the neighborhood. Good food, quick service, and Disney + sports to keep the entire family happy. Honestly, that's a win in my book.
