TLDR: Finest chicken spot around. Has the crispiest, juiciest, and most flavorful chicken. Typically spend $15-30 for two people. Service is amiable and extremely helpful. Dining area is always clean. Will continue to come back! This is the BEST fried chicken within a 25 mile radius! My friend and I have tried all the nearby Korean fried chicken places, and they do not even come close to the level of flavor and crispiness that is delivered within these wings. Food: The chicken is served piping hot, perfectly juicy, and exceptionally crunchy, yet still light and not overly heavy on the breading. We typically order the boneless wings and they do not disappoint. The generous portion size makes the small 8-piece order at $14.00 perfect for the two of us. There are a variety of sauce options for the chicken. We have tried nearly all of the flavors with Secret Sauce, Gangjeong, Honey Garlic, and Gangnam Style being some of our favorites, though they all are fantastic. Not only is the chicken worth coming back for, but so are the other side items on the menu. The kimchi fried rice is a must try. The flavor combination is diverse yet well blended. The udon is another side dish that we thoroughly enjoyed. Service: We have been here more times that I can count, and every time the service has been phenomenal. The staff are always quick to greet us and get us seated even when busy. They are super helpful explaining the items on the menu and giving great recommendations. They are also really friendly and pleasant to talk to. Some reviews have said that it takes a long time for the food to come out. While this is a bit true, taking around 20 minutes, the chicken comes out extremely hot and fresh. Definitely worth the wait. Honestly, I would wait twice as long for the chicken if I had to, it is that good. Atmosphere: The environment is spacious and always clean. There is usually some K-pop music and music videos playing in the background and on the TVs. When it comes to the Food, I do like the Bone in more than Boneless. In the order of the Flavors I have tried, I would say Honey Garlic is the best, then Soy Garlic, Secret Sauce, Gangnam Style, and finally the Golden Original. The Golden Original is good, but there are other Fried Chicken that taste better in my opinion without the other flavors like Jollibee or Popeyes. A friend of mine recommended me this place because I love Korean fried chicken. I went with my boyfriend and we ordered the galbi and secret sauce wings and rosé ddeokbokki. The food didn't take long to arrive and liked the overall ambiance of the place. I've always wanted to try rosé ddeokbokki and it did not disappoint. It was creamy and had just a hint of spice which was really nice. The sauces were good and the chicken had a nice crunch but the chicken itself was average. I loved having picked radish on the side. The staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. The place is relatively small, and you must wait 15-20 for the chicken to get ready since they cook it fresh. We enjoyed the spicy golden wings a lot. Very crispy, juicy meat and the flavor is excellent too. I wish you could choose more than one flavor, but we had to order 2 small instead of 1 medium to try 2 different flavors. The other flavor we got was boneless with the secret sauce. I like the sauce itself but the boneless meat had a weird aftertaste to me, while my husband was not bothered by it. Overall we still enjoyed our food a lot, and plan to come back in the future, especially since they have so many interesting flavors on the menu. First off, the service here was great! Small restaurant but cozy. We had a party of 7 Saturday afternoon and was seated quickly. Food also came out quickly. Gloves, utensils, paper plates all on the table - which made cleaning very efficient. Staff came around plenty of time to ask if everything was ok. We ordered half original and half hot spicy. The chicken was tender and delicious. I just thought they put too much sauce on the hot spicy chicken and had too much batter. The fries were very bland- would skip that next time. I also loved how they had Crash Landing on You with the restaurant scene on replay -- one of my favorite Korean dramas! Overall, a great experience. After many take outs from the fine Korean fried chicken establishment, I had to go eat the chicken in the restaurant extra fresh! My expectations were met with extremely delicious rose dokkbokki, and a personal favourite, original spicy! We wanted to try something new and ordered the galbi wings. Both flavours of the wings were very juicy and very fresh. The chicken batter on the galbi had more breading, had more air pockets giving a nice volume and crunch. The breading allowed the marinade to be evenly coated throughout the chicken. The spicy original had a nice crunchy thin breading, we could see juices drip out of the wings as we bit into the wings. Had perfect balance of crunch saltiness and spiciness. Nothing will beat this chicken for us. The rose dokkbokki is self explanatory, creamy slight spice we love to eat this with our spoon to get a mouthful of the sauce with chewy rice cake and some veggies! The servers/cashiers are very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, can give personalized suggestions and follows up afterwards! Has a nice modern ambiance, well lit, easy parking! Very well packed, I got the original bone in and Galbi flavor bone in, 8 each, oh and dumplings. We started with the original and shared the whole box, so good! We ate all the dumplings too. The texture of the wings is amazing. Crunchy, airy, and delicious. The cheesling fries are a must try. They're more sweet, slightly salty. They're a good side or appetizer. Yaki udon had the perfect amount of sauce, wasn't too salty, which is often the case when this dish is made. Texture of the udon noodles was great and the veggies were cooked perfectly. My cousins and I came to try this place out after hearing all the hype about bb.q, especially with it gaining popularity from k-drama Crash Landing On You! We ordered the half & half whole chicken -- half golden original and half secret sauce or hot spicy. We also ordered a small order of soy garlic wings and ddeok-bokki. The ddeok-bokki was cooked really well, soft and chewy. The sauce was great but ended up getting a little spicy for us. We were really impressed by how well they cooked the whole chicken. The breast is usually the hardest part to get right, and they blew us away! The fried breasts were juicy and tender and not dry at all. Our favorites were the golden original and soy garlic. The secret sauce was good but ended up being too sweet for our liking. I only took away one star because they don't let you mix and match sauces on the wings. We wanted the large order (24 wings) with two or maybe three different sauces to sample them, but they don't do that. You would need to pay more essentially by ordering 3 separate small orders (8 wings) in order to try different sauces. I feel like that's just a money grab at this point. My boyfriend and I were in the area and stopped in around 4:00 on Friday and still received extremely quick service. We ordered a pretty hefty amount of food; small orders of the secret sauce, honey garlic, cheesing and spicy original, all boneless save for the spicy original. The food is cooked to order, like the sign by the door says, but even with our large food order it only took about 20 minutes for everything to come to our table. I'm usually a boneless wing hater because the meat tends to be drier than bone-in wings, but the meat on these wings were literally dripping with moisture. I've never seen anything like it. I wish I would've taken a picture of the food but we tore it up as soon as it got to our table. I'm pretty wimpy when it comes to spicy, so I didn't try the spicy original wings, but the secret sauce that's labeled as spicy didn't feel like it at all! It was pretty sweet and the sauce was really thick, almost molasses-like with only the slightest kick; really amazing if you're looking for a sweeter flavor for your wings. The honey garlic was also delicious, much more subtle than the secret sauce and more honey-y than garlic-y, but still delicious. The cheeseling is definitely not a flavor we expected to be as good as it was, but this was both of our favorites. Not too overwhelmingly cheesy, but still plenty of powder on the wings to make it mouthwateringly flavorful. Definitely order the cheeseling flavor on your visit. The waitstaff offer complimentary pickled daikon to cleanse your palette between flavors; take advantage of this too. Super fresh and crunchy. We took about half of each flavor home so we'd have food for a late night treat and even 8-9 hours later (and eaten cold), the food was delicious. I wanted to try this spot for months, so I was so excited when I finally did! They have branches all over the US. I wanted to try when I first saw a stall in Korean Town in NYC but did not get the chance to. Who would have thought they would come to me now that I'm in Michigan? I ordered online for pick up and brought it home. However, they have a small but comfortable dining area if you want to dine in. They have so many flavor options. You can also choose between boneless or wings. I went for boneless gangjeong. The smallest portion you can get is eight pcs, and despite wanting to know other flavors, I know I will only be able to eat a little. I'll take it as more reasons to come back. First of all, they smell amazing. The aroma wafts through my car on the drive home. Visually, they looked delicious. Plus, they give you real decent pieces of chicken. None of the disappointing small, sad pieces. When you bite into them, you can hear how crunchy it is. The crunch is definitely one of the best properties of these chickens. The gangjeong only has a tiny hint of spiciness, so it's not spicy for me, although I have a pretty high spice tolerance. It's mainly on the sweeter side. The chicken itself is juicy and fatty. Overall, it's no doubt absolutely delicious. However, just because of how heavy it was, I was a bit nauseous by the time I reached the last chicken. It was probably unwise of me to eat the whole box in one sit, but oh well. The side of pickled daikon helps refresh your palate, though. Although I almost felt sick afterward (because of how heavy the meal was), I know I will return to try other flavors (that's how much I like it).
