I typically get the Teriyaki Chicken with a side of Macaroni Salad and get an additional large side of cucumbers. The chicken is always moist and the teriyaki is the perfect sweet and savory. The rice comes with furikake on top, the Mac salad is creamy and lite and the cucumber salad adds nice acid to the meal. I just mix it all up and it's greatl Also pictured is their Spam Musubi, a perfect on the road snack. I love that it comes with a side of teriyaki but you can also get regular or spicy mayo. Lastly they have different deserts that come in and out of stock. This Ube Mochi was 10/10 great! Perfectly chewy/bouncy with ube and coconut flavor. One of my dearest friends who lives across the state used to work at a Hawaiian restaurant when they were younger and would make me Loco Moco when we lived together. It's not easy to find and I never learned to make it myself; I'm always looking for it on menus. A couple years ago, I was in Lansing for a business trip and had Loco Moco at a place and was super impressed. I went to write a review about a month later and found they were closed. Imagine my surprise when I saw they were reopening a short bit later, but in Troy! This review is long overdue. The Loco Moco is my favorite by far; the gravy is incredibly savory, the burger patties are well seasoned, and the egg yolks are perfectly runny. Served on top of rice + with some perfectly made Mac Salad (not "pasta salad"), every bite is so good!! I also really enjoy the Meat Jun special that they have every once in awhile and the Pork specials they had for a bit were quite good as well. In their previous space in Lansing, they had a bigger space with more tables and the eat in service was handled very well. In Troy, I read that they specifically picked a smaller space to largely do take out/pick up only due to personal circumstance. They have always been personable when I pick up, which is incredibly often; thankfully, they also always seem pretty busy, which is good, I need them to keep making delicious food for a long time. :) read more

We enjoyed our food here very much. They had a gluten free soy sauce salmon. It seems like they have gluten free soy sauce so they could easily make other stuff gluten free too! The spam musubi without the egg is also supposed to be gf. Seating is small but it is mostly for takeout. Made to order. The bathroom is also clean. I really love the macaroni salad. Next time I want to try the hambagu and tamagoyaki. I like that the meats are on cabbage. The flavors feel like I'm eating Japanese food at home. Great addition to the area. read more

Small place, back corner of the shopping center. Mostly carry out or Door Dash or Uber Eats. There's one small table that would tightly fit 4 and r chairs by the window and some outside seating, but it's pretty hot outside. Nothing really appealed for me on the menu. We ordered a Korean chicken with kimchi and added a meal sized Namasu sides and a full small side of the macaroni salad. $23.21 I will eat some of the sides, as I was not really feeling anything on the menu here. The kimchi is quite sour. Not for me. The rice with the Korean chicken is dry and almost crunchy and overcooked or dried out. The Korean chicken doesn't taste like a Korean chicken sauce at all, but the meat is tender at least. The cucumber was okay, not special. The pasta salad is definitely mayonnaise filled and thus creamy, the noodles are quite soft and mushy. At least my husband doesn't mind it. read more

Spam wrapped in roasted seaweed and sushi rice with a tangy teriyaki sauce for dipping. For dinner ordered Huli Huli Salmon with Macaroni as my side. Macaroni had a great garlic flavor. This place should come with a warning label! Try once and you'll be hooked. I placed the order online, then drove to pick it up. I received a text message when they started cooking it and once it was done. The timing was perfect. When I went inside there were many customers waiting for their order. I noticed they have a kiosk inside that you can place your order at. They also had someone working the register. Everything smelled wonderful inside. I never knew about this place until it popped up in my Yelp feed. I've only had Hawaiian food in East Lansing, so I was pretty excited to try it. It's a cute place inside, with one table and counter seating against the window, as well as some outside tables. Ordering is quick by the touchpad, and my food came out quickly. The huli huli chicken was delicious, and a very generous portion. The macaroni salad was good, the cucumber salad was the standout amongst the side dishes, with some chili oil or something slightly spicy in the marinade. The rice has furikake on it to add some savory taste, although I should have gone in and asked for some more. This was a very tasty meal, and I look forward to trying some other dishes. Great spot for Hawaiian food in Troy! This place is very good and totally made for carry out, although there are 4 stools at a counter available if you want to eat there. We ordered the spam musubi, Katsu curry, the aloha fries and the spicy chicken. There is plenty of food, you can order online (recommended) and pick it up, or order at a kiosk in the restaurant. I can't say too much about the service as you are picking up your food. Ambiance is minimal as it is meant for carry out in my opinion. read more

I just happen to look up restaurants in the area using Google maps and was so excited to see this place. They have been open since 2021. The store is tucked away in a shopping strip just past the dental spot. Right when you walk in, you can see the menu, an self ordering kiosk and the register to place your order if you don't want to use the kioski. It is pretty small inside, but there are a few seats to enjoy your food while it's hot. The man taking our order was friendly and very helpful. We got the garlic shrimp, which we could smell cooking and the huli huli chicken- which is a little sweeter and the chicken, perfectly cooked. The mac salad was pretty yummy. Slightly different than L&L's but honestly, the best in Michigan we've found so far. If you miss hawaiian food, I would definitely recommend coming out to AC. read more

Got there when it opened. Hours are 4-9 Tuesday-Sundays. You can order from kiosk or at the counter. The Huli huli salmon was perfectly cooked and it had a sweet sauce. The spam masubi was a classic which was served with a thicken sweet soy dipping sauce. Very good! We got our food fairly fast as well. They have limited seating inside but they offer outdoor seating as well. It's located in the corner of a plaza which can be easily missed. Heard about this place recently and wanted to check it out. I Usually can't find Hawaiian places in the area so I took the opportunity to order from here. It's mostly takeout and delivery. Reviews recommended the Huli Huli Chicken so I wanted to try it. They also have Loco Moco, and a mix of Japanese and Korean variety too. The chicken was tender and worked well with the rice. I've heard about Hawaiian macaroni salad before and wanted to try it. It was warm and had a unique flavor from what I'm used to. I found myself eating all this in one sitting. This place has the most delicious Hawaiian food I've had in a long time and being from Vegas, there's a lot of great Hawaiian food. This place stands up with the best of them. Everything here is delicious. Their teriyaki (both chicken and beef) is great. The chicken is fresh and cooked perfectly as is the beef (which is ribeye I believe). The teriyaki sauce is perfect. Sweet and tangy the way it's supposed to be. They also have a spicy teriyaki option if you're looking for a little kick. My favorite dishes are the short rib, chicken katsu, and - BY FAR - their Loco Moco (hamburger steak patties, eggs, rice, and gravy). So the short rib (which is similar to Korean kalbi or galbi ribs) are amazing. They obviously use top quality meat (more meat than fat but still has that perfect marbling). They also cook it to perfection and the sauce and seasoning is perfect. The chicken katsu is by far the best chicken katsu in Michigan (south east anyway). The outside is perfectly crispy while the inside is tender and not overcooked at all, which is a delicate balance to keep the chicken moist while making the outside crispy. The katsu sauce is delectable. Perfect mixture of sweet and savory. Now the star of the show is the loco moco. The hamburger patties are cooked to perfection. The eggs are done just right so that the yolk squeezes out perfectly over the dish without being runny. And the gravy is to die for. It complements the patties, eggs, and rice perfectly. It's that perfect hearty brown gravy that just adds the perfect touch of flavor to everything else. Each dish is served with rice and a choice of side. All their sides are great too. Their kimchi has a great flavor with a nice kick. The mac salad bursts with flavor as well, unlike some macaroni salad that's kind of bland and flavorless. But this place does it right. Their picked cucumbers are also great. But my favorite sides are the kimchi and mac salad. They also have incredible spam musubis that they serve with a side of their teriyaki sauce. I come here at least once, sometimes twice, a week. read more

Wow! What a delicious surprise! We only came across this restaurant by searching for places that start with A for an A to Z date night option. There is not a ton of seating options but there were a couple of tables outside and it was actually a beautiful evening weather-wise. We ordered via kiosk, so interaction was minimal, but food came out quickly and correctly. We ordered a Korean chicken with macaroni salad, chicken katsu with cucumber salad and the lumpia special appetizer. The sides were fine, nothing special but the entrees and lumpia were both fantastic. There were also many other menu items that look appealing to us, so we will definitely be back. Just finished eating here and it was very, very good!!! I'm from Hawaii, born and raised and I haven't been able to find meat jun anywhere other than Hawaii and Vegas. The meat jun here was so buttery, soft, and just melted in the mouth. Mac salad was great, a staple in Hawaiian plate-lunches.
