I wanted to try this spot for months, so I was so excited when I finally did! They have branches all over the US. I wanted to try when I first saw a stall in Korean Town in NYC but did not get the chance to. Who would have thought they would come to me now that I'm in Michigan? I ordered online for pick up and brought it home. However, they have a small but comfortable dining area if you want to dine in. They have so many flavor options. You can also choose between boneless or wings. I went for boneless gangjeong. The smallest portion you can get is eight pcs, and despite wanting to know other flavors, I know I will only be able to eat a little. I'll take it as more reasons to come back. First of all, they smell amazing. The aroma wafts through my car on the drive home. Visually, they looked delicious. Plus, they give you real decent pieces of chicken. None of the disappointing small, sad pieces. When you bite into them, you can hear how crunchy it is. The crunch is definitely one of the best properties of these chickens. The gangjeong only has a tiny hint of spiciness, so it's not spicy for me, although I have a pretty high spice tolerance. It's mainly on the sweeter side. The chicken itself is juicy and fatty. Overall, it's no doubt absolutely delicious. However, just because of how heavy it was, I was a bit nauseous by the time I reached the last chicken. It was probably unwise of me to eat the whole box in one sit, but oh well. The side of pickled daikon helps refresh your palate, though. Although I almost felt sick afterward (because of how heavy the meal was), I know I will return to try other flavors (that's how much I like it). Glad to have another KFC in the area. The food is on a pricey side since you're order a big amount, don't let that deter you. There's a variety of flavors to choose from. Their regular classic ones is really good. I also enjoy the stir fry noodles & tobokki for side dishes. Haven't tried kimchi fried rice yet, since it's always run out by the time were there for dinner. Unsure if they still have a long wait time, but it's worth it. Only tried their half and half (golden original and secret sauce) twice. First on their opening day and then a week later. Both were take out. Interestingly first time we tried it, we had it 30-40 min after it had been out, it still tasted really good. Breading and sauce was really good. Best Korean chicken I've tasted in Michigan. The staff I spoke to on the phone was very nice. However, the second time we did a take out and ate within a few minutes upon receipt, the breading was falling off/ very crumbly and the flavor wasn't as good as the first time. Which is why I had to take off a star since the flavor wasn't consistent. Hope they are more consistent in the future! I have wanting to try this place out since it first opened so I had high expectations. First, I really love the decoration and atmosphere. Makes me feel like I want to eat here. Second, I commend them for providing every table with the necessary utensils to eat your food including disposable gloves to handle the yummy chicken. Me and my wife got the half and half chicken: half golden original and half hot spicy. It was spicy enough and I will try their wings of fire next time. However, there was just a bit much batter on the chicken making it taste mediocre and less flavorful than I expected. Service was great. We drove past bb.q Chicken and had no clue what it was, so decided to turn around and go in for dinner. After the first bite of the honey garlic wings we were hooked. The service was great and the food was even better. Jeremy the manager was awesome and it was cool to learn that this is a chain from Korea and they were the first ones to bring it into Michigan. If calories were not a thing, I would eat here everyday! The food is amazing!! The service is amazing!! The cleanliness is amazing! First you are greeted by the nice and joyful workers! They are very attentive and give great recommendations. The place is also very clean! Then you are wowed by the amazing food they have. Their wings are so crispy, fresh, and flavorful. Their fried rice was really good, and their Yaki udon noodles were delicious. Our favorite sauce on the wings was the honey garlic! I could eat the whole basket by myself. We came at 5:30pm on a friday. Dark meat chicken unless you get the breast, which is only available with a whole chicken. And you only get 1 breast per half chicken. Boneless wings are also dark meat. We waited over 25 min with a toddler, and they said it was table service, but literally told us to get our own napkins..... When the chicken came, it definitely wasn't as crispy as Korean fried chicken should be, and it was a tad on the blonde side. They expedited approximately 24 orders of carry out before ours. Poor service, and definitely nickled and dimed us for the sauce and other things. It also was weird bc they said the chicken whole chicken (~$30) came with 2 sides.... And it didn't. We got charged for the fries, and when they came over for us to pay bc we requested to check out, we found out after we were done that the fries were the $6. Subpar service, blonde chicken, and a long wait. I'm not coming here again. I had to flag them down every time for anything. Just disappointing..noori is clawson is 100000000000x better. These are the best wings and tenders! I was not a fan of the rice but the chicken is so good, I didn't even care. The original, soy garlic and the maple garlic were so delicious and not soggy even after a 30 minute ride home. Everything we ordered was delicious from the boneless wings with special sauce to the maple crunch wings, which tasted like chicken and waffles. To say it was the best Korean fried chicken I've had is an understatement and it was honestly some of the best just fried chicken in general I've had in a long time. The breading was crispy and seasoned the meat was juicy and tender and the packaging was honestly flawless. We took it to go because they were very busy inside , and even though there was an hour wait for chicken at the time it was well worth it . They were busy for a reason.
