They did a full insulation removal of all the old insulation, energy air sealing ( which included all recessed light fixtures) I did not realize what a energy loss problem they are, Soffit baffles to increase attic ventilation, Spray Foaming certain areas like vaulted ceilings and knee walls to improve the R value, new clean blown in insulation to a R49 level in all the other areas, and finally a Attic Stairway Insulation Cover to stop the energy loss caused from the attic stairway inside my home. I did get estimates from 3 other companies. Perkins Inc. had the most complete estimate with options, picture examples. It was very detailed. When Scott came to my home he was the only estimator who thoroughly inspected my attic. He actually measured the job. Others just stood and looked and no measuring. When I ask others about Energy Air Sealing they really did not have a clue they told me about blowing in insulation. By the way I did not pay more for a top quality job. So be careful, the attic insulation removal companies I spoke to were not real PROs like Scott and his TEAM. I can already see the difference. My home is Cleaner ( less Dust, "MY WIFE LIKES THAT"). It is Quieter. The heater hardly comes on even when it is in the 30s and wind chill is 40mph like a few days ago. This is one home improvement that is going to pay me back every month. I have done google reviews in the past and they keep removing them somehow. If you have ever been disappointed with a contractor, double it with these hacks. DO NOT USE THIS GUYS. They sent teenagers out and when it was lunchtime, they thought it was necessary to sit on my patio furniture and get glue all over it. I have contacted the owner on several occasions and she will not reach out to me. I am truly surprised they haven't shut down and started another version under another name. Like some of the others, this is a bait and switch. The quote that they gave me was way too low…read more($129) and when the guy came in, Jerry, he quoted me $900. So, the background, I have an older furnace that had some black soot coming out of the vents and he said it was mold and mildew. He assessed the furnaces in the attic, and told me what he had to do. Sounded reasonable, so I agreed. This was on a Thursday. After he left, the problems were 1) the blower stopped working after he finished so I had no AC during that heat spell in May 2) there was a small gas odor after he finished 3) he didn't do the dryer vent cleaning because he had to be somewhere in the afternoon, at 2:30pm! He was telling me all the things wrong with my HVAC system as though he didn't want to do the work, but was completely interested in talking about the house that he was building and how great the HVAC was. But what's disappointing to me, especially, was his unprofessionalism. He didn't complete the job at 2:30pm because he had to "go to downtown to talk to the painters for his house that is being built." Like you are on company time, how many other jobs has he not finished or completed for his company to tend to personal matters? I paid in cash, so he likely didn't even report this job. I called another HVAC team and they fixed my furnace blower to just get the AC working but also gave me a great deal to just replace that old furnace upstairs. They were also the ones that explained all the bad work that was done prior, and the lack of work that Jerry did! When they ripped out the junction box, all the mold and stuff Jerry took a picture of was still there! The major thing was the gas leak, and fortunately my new HVAC guy found it. That could have been very dangerous. After the work of the other HVAC company was done and I had time to think about all that Jerry for NOA didn't do, he called me and said that he could come on the Saturday for the dryer vent cleaning. When I asked him what time, he said he'd check and get back to me. Then he never called me back. Then he calls me randomly on Sunday, the next day, and I cancelled on him at this point because I don't trust his work, or this company. Beware of NOA, and how they take advantage of you not knowing about HVAC. As a nurse, I naturally just wanted the best for my family in terms of air quality. But to damage the system I had in place, despite the age, and potentially cause more danger with a gas odor and leak, I don't think I can trust this company. Plus the fact that Jerry, was more concerned with his own personal project than helping me was a real turn off. He said it'd only take 10-15min, but didn't do it? Because of traffic to his paint match appointment? Bad value, bad customer service, bad work. Response time was good, but the only reason why I had to leave a star is because you can't leave a '0' star review.

We were ready to move fast and place a lot of money down for upgrades, but Warren was unwilling to entertain reasonable transaction terms. He provided the TREC contract with numerous handwritten changes, which provided very little time for the buyer to complete their obligations, but plenty of language to allow Warren to extend schedule, increase cost and even cancel the contract at anytime at his sole discretion. Yes, the language would even allow him to terminate right before closing for ANY reason (e.g. if he got a higher offer). To make things worse, Warren verbally agreed to contract changes, but then reneged at the last minute because we were trying to document them clearly with our agent. He was apparently upset because we engaged professional help on a $1M investment, and were trying to protect our risk. Further, Warren is extremely hard to communicate with, as his VM is always full, rarely answers calls and only communicates when he needs something. We were hoping to find another representative with Westport to communicate with, but the listing agents would return call either.

On paper, that sounds like a great deal. In reality, the service after the installation has been extremely disappointing. My experience has been that they seem far better equipped to sell and install HVAC systems than they are to support customers afterward. Trying to get someone on the phone is incredibly frustrating. I am routinely sent to an answering service, and getting a callback is inconsistent at best. Even the required tune-ups have been a problem. Appointments have been scheduled, canceled, changed, and rescheduled repeatedly. That is especially unacceptable when those tune-ups are tied to maintaining the warranty they use as a selling point. The biggest issue is that once the installation is complete, the level of customer service drops dramatically. Communication is poor, scheduling is unreliable, and the overall support has been far below what I would expect from a company that wants to maintain a long-term relationship with its customers. A low installation price is not a good value if you have to fight just to get basic service afterward. If I had to make the decision again, I would absolutely pay more upfront to a different HVAC company with a stronger service department and better customer support. Saving money on the installation was not worth the frustration that followed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Team Enoch.
