We scheduled from noon to 2pm, and the guy didn't show up till 4:10pm. They "had an emergency", so I was told. Our circuit breaker was tripping during rain, and we had already changed the breaker ourselves a couple times over the past years to no prevail, so we decided to hire someone to check for us. We told them everything and guess what? They just changed our circuit breaker for $400. Granted, they did open up our outlets and the break panel to check for loose wires, which we did ourselves previously as well, but I'm not 100% convinced since the breaker they changed to looked a little different than our previous one. Probably an arc vs gfci one? Idk. They have a one-year warranty, so we'll see. read more

Called for a quote and the person at the business answered to phone with just a Hello, nothing stating the company name or his name. After I asked if this was Leo Electric he said yes. I asked if he could give me a quote to replace a canned light with a light fixture that was located on a 20ft ceiling, he said sure, send him a picture of the fixture and where I would like it installed, and he would send me a quote. When you buy an older home, and want to make some minor renovations, those minor things can become major pretty fast. My wife wanted a new fridge, and so we wanted to move our old one into the garage. Unfortunately, the fridge lost power every 7 minutes. It was tripping the GFCI outlet that it was plugged into. Unfortunately, too, there are only 3 outlets in the garage. The GFCI in the center along the back wall, an electrical outlet 8 feet high on the right side, and another at knee level towards the garage door on the left side. Electrical is one area I don't want to mess with, so I looked up who reputable electricians in the area on Yelp. Leo came up first, with high reviews. I messaged the business and received an immediate response with a link to schedule make an appointment. I must have been lucky because it was the same exact time that I was available. His brother and partner, Luis, showed up on time and I was able to speak with Leo while his team was assessing the area. Ultimately, the answer was to upgrade our electrical panel because it was old (1996), safer, and where I wanted to move the refrigerator required a new outlet but I couldn't because my panel was maxed out. So Luis came up with a great solution, Leo gave me a great quote for all the work to be done and within a few hours. They were done pretty quickly, with the power being out for about 2 hours. I also had some drywall contractors in the house and they didn't have to wait too long before getting back to work. All in all, I have an upgraded panel, new outlet for my fridge in the garage that won't trip, and a new ground because somebody disconnected the ground outside which left some outlets ungrounded. Crazy! Older homes are always big projects, but I'm glad that Leo and his crew were able to make this repair and upgrade quick and painless. I had an issue over the years with several outlets causing the breakers to trip in a new construction home, after working with the builder and them sending out their electrician multiple times claiming it was fixed the issue still occurred to the point that we had to run extension cords to other outlets to get our appliances to work properly.
