PROFIT OVER PEOPLE! I have been a customer with this agency for several years. I called in to give…read moremy new debit card info for auto payments. (I had my homeowners policy in auto pay.) Instead of running the payment for my usual $221, Peter told his employee to run it for the full policy amount, $1,810. We were NOT expecting that hit to our daily account. I gave grace and was patient as I understand mistakes happen. After 2 days, they informed us that they had worked with the insurance company to speed up the refund policy but that would still take up to 2 weeks to receive this refund. Meanwhile, our auto policy was set to renew and we just added a new 16yr old driver so you can imagine that renewal about is quite high. Because Peter took $1810 out of our account, we are now short the money to pay our auto renewal. I reached out and asked what he suggested we do and if his agency (that he owns) would be willing to cover the amount that he took from our acct ($1810 is what he took, $221 is what should have been taken so I asked him to cover the difference of $1589.) His answer was no and he had ZERO suggestion on what I could do to solve this problem that he created. He sent word through an employee, by the way, to let us know that he would not cover the amount, progressive would not extend the payment deadline and that we would just have to wait until we received the refund. He has not one time extended an apology for his error that has put my family in a terrible situation. My husband is a quadriplegic so our ability to just borrow a vehicle from someone is not possible. So for the next however many days it takes to untangle this mess, our family is stuck with no insurance, which means no transportation. I'd call this a real strong case of "Profit over people". Peter doesn't care about his customers, he cares about his dollars. After several years with this agency, the truth has revealed itself and I will be finding another agent.

( they had put the wrong model number ) SO I HAD APPROVED THE PRICE CHANGE. well then started having problems with the discount for being a home owner I had sent them the proof three times now still getting emails from progressive need proof of home owner. now I am getting bills from progressive for 334.00 more because no proof of home owner. I call progressive and went to there website to find out the policy was only 780.00 then I look at my credit card statement seen there was two charges one for the 780.00 to progressive insurance and 104.50 to PETER LACZKO INSURANCE . called the agency and was told i had a roadside policy ON A SIDE BY SIDE WHEN THEY TOLD ME THAT PROGRESSIVE PRICE WENT UP PLUS NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING ON THE ROADSIDE ASSISTANT POLICY.
