It seems like each time I'm in town, I have to pay them a visit. I love the baby clam noodles and the baby clam rice bowls. The assorted appetizer platter is such a treat as well. The price is very reasonable here for what you get. They get the food out pretty quickly after you order as well. The service is also friendly. The inside is spacious enough to be comfortable. They do keep it clean and inviting. They always seem to be busy as well. I have recommended this place to my friends and family. I get my friend the baby clam rice recently and she is now hooked

Food is good here. Place is small but service was quick and friendly. I don't know what we ordered to be honest but I think it was number 18, 20, eggrolls and their bun Bo hue. All was tasty and came out fresh and hot. Bathroom was clean and plenty of parking spaces in the shopping strip.

Delicious & authentic Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. Great and quick service! Love the variety they have here, many pho places in the area only have noodles and basic ride dishes. Love the banh beo too!!

I am an out of state diner and this is my second time at Goc Hue. I had Banh It Ram for the first time here two years ago, and I never forgot the taste of it. So when I came to visit Dallas again, I knew I had to eat here again. I HIGHLY recommend trying this flavorful AND texturally amazing dish. The bottom layer is a deep fried, crunchy rice cracker with a sticky, mochi-like rice filling including steamed pork sprinkled with dried shrimp flakes. It is DIVINE, I ordered a whole plate for myself and I don't have any pictures to show for it because I ate it so quick with the nuoc mam sauce. The Banh Beos are also great here, they're also individually very small so don't be scared to get multiple orders for a large group. For a party of five, we shared and finished 3 orders of banh beo and 2 orders of banh it ram in addition to other entrées.

I ordered the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork. Tasted good and they have authentic Vietnamese food Menu got pictures and made easy to decide what food to order. Great service from staff and the place gives you a calm ambiance to enjoy your food

My family is from Hue and they were so pleased to find this place. It's almost exactly like home to them. This place is even better than the famous California locations like Garden Grove. It is less spicy than typical Hue food though, so ask for extra Thai peppers if you want that heat. Food: 5/5 The food is fantastic. There's an explosion of incredible rich flavors and wonderful chewy textures from the rice cake. The winner is the Bánh Bèo Chén. Even though it comes with 10 pieces, we demolished that really quickly. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something different from your typical Vietnamese Pho.

A Hidden Gem of Huế in the Heart of Dallas If you've ever longed for the rich, soulful flavors of Central Vietnam, Góc Huề is the place where those cravings are satisfied with heart and authenticity. Tucked away in Dallas, this restaurant is a culinary love letter to the imperial city of Huế -- and you feel it from the first sip of broth to the last spoonful of chè. The menu is refreshingly true to its roots, featuring Huế specialties you rarely find elsewhere: bún bò Huế that hits with bold lemongrass and deep chili oil warmth, bánh bèo served just like it is in Vietnam -- soft, savory, and perfectly bite-sized -- and nem lụi, smoky and wrapped in fresh herbs that transport you straight to a roadside stall by the Perfume River. The owners clearly care about more than just food. The décor is intimate and inviting, with subtle touches of Vietnamese culture, and the service is warm -- like you're being welcomed into someone's home. You can tell this isn't just a restaurant; it's a passion project. Whether you're Vietnamese and missing the taste of home, or someone looking to explore regional Vietnamese cuisine beyond pho, Góc Huề is a must-visit. It's not just a meal -- it's a memory.

Góc Huế is a Vietnamese restaurant in Garland that specializes in cuisine from Vietnam's central region. This items here are very authentic, and if you are looking for a restaurant that represents this region of Vietnam, this is it. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars Atmosphere - Góc Huế is in a non-descript shopping strip in Garland. The location is small, and on a late Sunday afternoon, it was packed. This restaurant must be hot. Unfortunately, the brutal Texas summer must have taken out their A/C units, because it was literally hot inside and they had big fans blowing. It felt like a restaurant in Saigon. Sorry Góc Huế, I need A/C. 1/2 Stars. Service - Góc Huế has standard service. You wait to get seated, someone comes by to take your order, when done, you go pay in the back. That's about it. It's standard - and very efficient. 1/2 Star. Food - We started with Bánh Bèo. These steamed rice cakes are served in individual dishes, and are topped with dried shrimp, scallion oil, and crispy fried shallots. It's a perfect bite of flavors and textures and was a great first start. My wife and daughter split a very generous portion of Bún Bò Huế. They both said this beef noodle soup was very good. Sorry - you'll have to read other reviews for this popular central region dish because it was too hot for me to try. I ordered the Bánh Khoai, which crispy crepe/pancake is filled with shrimp and fresh herbs. The crepe was crispy on the outside, and inside was a little heavy on the egg. I still enjoyed it a lot, and I had a ton of respect for the chef. This place is legit. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I'm not aware of any Vietnamese restaurant that represents all regions, but if I'm craving for legitimate central region cuisine, I'm heading back to Góc Huế. 1 Star.

An extremely RARE find in DFW! An AMAZING little cozy shop that is serving up great authentic Bún bò Huế and other Huế delicacy . The portions are big and are served with all the traditional herbs such as basil, sliced banana flower, and bean sprouts. You can't go wrong with ordering the Bún bò Huế. It has a little of every meat in it. All the Huế dishes are as authentic as it gets. We've visited twice now and have not been disappointed by anything we've tried. Great food that is served fast with a friendly smile. Perfect for a rainy or chilly day.

Service was great. Parents really enjoyed their food and they are picky. Parents ordered the Banh BeoChen, Banh Goc Hue Combo and Ngoc Mia. My Bun Bo Hue was yummy too.

They great you as soon as they walk in! I've been here twice now.... The first time I had their spring rolls. They were huge and the peanut sauce was freshly made too! I wish they would wrap them a little tighter but other than that soooo yummmy. I had the bun bo hue on my second visit and wow the broth was sooo delicious! The pigs blood was a little too out of my comfort zone but I had a small piece and it was not for me but they did accommodate to not having this included in it. So yummy and fresh

I am always on the hunt for good bun bo hue. Goc Hue's ranks within the top 5 in the Dallas/Garland/Richardson area. Whenever I go out for Vietnamese food, I have to take my fob husband along for his opinion as well and he said the bun bo hue broth here is good and that I ruined it by adding too much sate/chili oil into it. We love food from the Hue region in Vietnam: banh nam, banh bot loc, banh it ram, and banh beo chen. I'm happy to report that Goc Hue does a pretty decent job at these dishes. The prices here are cheap as well. $13.50 for a bowl of BBH with a good portion of meat -- my bowl had TWO pork hocks! My husband and I usually go out to eat Vietnamese food every Sunday after church and have a couple of restaurants in our rotation and now we will have to add Goc Hue into the mix. I hope this place does well and sticks around - y'all need to come check it out!

Eggrolls - flavor is spot on.

We were in the area and wanted some Asian food. We looked up in Yelp and saw Goc Hue has a high rating. When we arrived (2:30pm) for a late lunch, there was a line out the door. That's a good sign right? After 30 mins, we got a table and ordered our food..Bun Bo Goc Hue and eggrolls. They were the one of the best we had! Service isn't much and no one came to door to greet us. The people in line pretty much told the waiter who was next in line. Almost every had Bub Bo Goc Hue and you can smell the shrimp paste used for this dish. Overall, delicious food but don't expect much with the services.

So crisp in the outside and tender like poboy bread on the inside. The sandwich toppings were nice. I got the basic ham and it was full of flavor. The pickled veg were so well seasoned and nice.
