I am rating the food that we had today at this restaurant. The daal fry was below average as well as the chicken boti. The goat biriyani, however, was good, had a fresh taste. The ambiance was very good but the customer service was average. The person who served us did not understand what we were even asking. I am not sure about the other items on the menu but this definitely is not on my return list.

The place was welcoming and clean. The staff was helpful in answering questions about the dishes. Descriptions of the items in the buffet would have been nice too. All the Pakistani food was so flavorful! The desserts were amazing too. I found out we could also order a la carte and request Zero Spice. Everything was so fresh! I would like to go back and try more dishes. Kash was especially helpful and a wonderful host. Our waiter was also very accommodating and gracious. We will be returning!

The only saving grace was the service from one particular server, who wasn't even ours and the dining hall. This place was suuuuuper lackluster. It's an older place where I feel like they have regulars but we haven't been in a few years. I remember why we didn't go back for so long. Our order included a kids meal nuggets, fries and a soda - one chicken biryani - 2 chicken tikka burgers - second side of fries, chicken seekh kabob roll and 2 water bottles. We were told 10 minutes after ordering that they were out of chicken nuggets and we couldn't sub the soda in kids meal for a juice. Our kids do not drink soda and they didn't have any kind of juice available at all. The chicken tikka kabobs were pieces of bbq chicken, my boys didn't love them but they were okay. Hard to eat with the ingredients falling out because the chicken was cut up small. The kabob roll was full of big pieces of random cucumber and a whooole lot of mayonnaise or a mayonnaise based sauce. The chicken biryani was just all out bad. No flavor. No salt, no pepper. It literally tasted like boiled rice. I couldn't believe how bad it was. We will definitely not be going back again, total waste of our money. Nonetheless, they seem to be very popular in the local area so all the luck to the business.

Very disappointed with BBQ KING Ordered nihari to go which is Almost $16 for beef nihari comes with 2 small pieces of meat & gravy Not even enough for my 6 year old, let alone an adult Either reduce price of increase portion that atleast 1-2 person can eat. Thank you for ruining out dinner tonight. Was gonna take my non desi friends to try authentic Pakistani food on Sunday, now I am not so sure about it. Picture of their "fresh ?" Salad with rotten cucumbers & rotten lettuce I am sure now people will criticize of me being very harsh or being rude over "free salad LOL" atleast serve fresh atleast

Great restaurant and authentic Pakistani/Hyderabadi cuisine. Was here for a foodies get together buffet and ate like 2-3 meals in one sitting thanks to their delicious food items. Excellent ambience, would be a great place for family and khandan get togethers.

Very pricy and low quality of food. $14 for butter chicken with no rice (that's extra) and 5 pieces of chicken cubes. Disappointing.

Good but a little overpriced. But honestly it's kind of worth it cause there's not a lot of other good Pakistani bbq places around.

Chicken-fried brisket is the star of the show here, and it's every bit as legendary as the hype…read moresuggests. I went specifically for their signature dish (the one they proudly call themselves the "Home of the Chicken Fried Brisket"), and it delivered exactly what everyone raves about. They take a thick, oak-smoked brisket slice--already juicy, tender, and loaded with smoky flavor and perfect bark--then coat it in a craft-beer batter and fry it up. The crust comes out shatter-crisp and golden, never greasy or soggy, while the brisket inside stays beefy and moist. That peppery burnt-end gravy poured over the top is rich, savory, and ties everything together beautifully with a scoop of skin-on mashed potatoes on the side. It's pure Texas comfort food genius--smoky BBQ meets Southern fried steak in the best possible way. I'd order it again in a heartbeat (it's a Tuesday special or weekend brunch treat, so plan accordingly). The rest of the BBQ holds up just as strong. Their regular brisket (flat and point) is consistently juicy, tender, and smoky with that killer bark everyone mentions. Sides and other meats are solid too--no weak links. The house beers are fantastic and pair perfectly with the rich, smoky food (the rustic, woodsy vibe in the historic downtown Garland spot makes it even better for lingering over a pint). Service is friendly and the whole place just feels welcoming. If you're in Garland or nearby and love bold Texas BBQ with a creative twist, Intrinsic is a must. The chicken-fried brisket alone is worth the trip--don't sleep on it! Highly recommend for anyone who wants great smoked meats, great beer, and something uniquely delicious

Perfect amount of seasoning, amazingly CHEESY....Green onion sprinkled ontop so if you don't like that, they are happy to leave it off. 2nd visit. I got the ribs again (thats how good they are!), collards, mac and chz (for the husband this time lol) and the kool-aid. The collards are perfectly seasoned with a rich dark broth. Nothing needed to be added, salt, pepper, nothing! My cousin had the brisket. It had a beautiful smoke ring and char. Seasoned perfectly. You can see the seasoning. Perfect mix of fat and lean ratio. She had the same side as I did. Now, to the show stopper.... The KOOL-AID! It was hands down the BEST kool-aid Ive ever tasted. I never liked kool-aid because it would be so watery. Not this! It was dark red, with a fruit punch flavor and just the right amount of sugar! Do not leave that building without a kool-aid I'll be back to try their other menu items soon!

The restaurant was probably 75% full and it was just 2 of us, so easy peasy. Amber(I really hope that's right) was a great waitresses. She greeted us and asked if we wanted anything besides the waters that had already been given. She then gave us a few minutes to look over the menu... Side bar: I guess I'm just old, but I want a real menu, not a QR code to scan. We looked over the menu and decided on 2 small pizza to split. Fourmaggio, which almost always my go to if available at the pizza place, and the Potato and Pancetta. Both pizzas were great, but the Potato and Pancetta was the winner for us! (just a fun fact) They seem pretty proud of that fact too, considering there's now a giant cowboy hat sculpture, "The Big Hat," right across the street. It's impossible to miss. Anyway, we weren't there for hats. We were there for pizza. First, a public service announcement. Figure out what you want before you walk in because the menu is only available through a QR code, and it is awful. You scroll. Then you scroll some more. Then somehow you're still scrolling. It feels less like ordering dinner and more like reading the terms and conditions for a mortgage. The two of us ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which turned out to be ambitious. We ate leftovers for days. Next time I'd definitely order the smaller size. My only real complaint about the pizza itself was the pepperoni. There was just TOO MUCH of it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. I'd love to see a "light pepperoni" option priced accordingly. ALSO not it is the good and greasy cupping pepperoni, kinda spicy. The pizza was also a little unevenly prepared. About half had a thicker crust while the other half was noticeably thinner. I definitely preferred the thinner side. Service was perfectly fine, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and the pizza was good overall. Just be prepared for the QR code marathon before you get to enjoy it.
