The service on Cinco de Mayo was great !!! Everyone was super attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable. They let us know the wait time, and didn't lose their patience when came to ask where we stood. They had margs outside while you waited to get in. When we were seated the waitress was super quick and brought out everything immediately. 6/20/24: Stopped by for dinner with family, and unfortunately didn't sit at the bar. We sat at a table, and Carmelo was our server. It started off bad when he knocked the salsa bottle on the table, spilling it on a couple sitting across from us at the table. He had a hard time taking our order and getting the drinks correct. The food was good, but his service was terrible. We had to get the tab corrected, because it had drinks that we didn't have. I'm glad that this wasn't our first visit, because it probably would've been our last. Next time, we will definitely sit at the bar, especially if Sophia is working. 6/23/24: We stopped by and sat at the bar. Sophia wasn't working and of all people, Carmelo was at the bar. We almost left due to our most recent experience with him on 6/20/24. We decided to stay because the food is good. Even placing the order with him at the bar was painful. Food was good, drinks and service were terrible. Went in because I'd heard they started carrying soft serve margaritas. Sat outside. Ambiance was great. Waited 20 minutes before the waiter even noticed we were there. Initially wasn't given a drink menu so asked for one. The waiter gave us the drink menu and proceeded to leave for another 20 minutes. Once we finally got the waiter to take our order, took 30 minutes to receive the water I ordered and another 15 minutes to receive the margarita. Ordered a beer immediately after receiving my margarita since it took so long to get it. Waiter disappears for another 40 minutes only to come back and tell me they don't have the beer. By that point I'd already finished the food I waited 45 minutes for. All together, waited an hour and a half for food. My water and salsa was never refilled the whole time despite asking for a refill. Margaritas tasted like straight liquor. Needless to say probably won't be back here. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Sat at the bar with my friends as a designated driver. Sofia was absolutely awful. Constantly reiterated that if I did not buy alcohol, I would be kicked out of her bar. Was not made aware of any policy stating that you could not sit at the bar as a paying customer if you did not order alcohol. As someone who is actively sober, this was the first establishment where I have been looked down upon for not drinking. We were also greeted with "if you have feelings, do not sit here because I am an a$$hole." I do not recommend sitting at the bar if Sofia is working. read more

If you want great Mexican food this is your kind of place!! Mallori, our wonderful waitress, was amazing! Great knowledge of the menu and "happy hour"!! What else do you need? My husband ordered the pork carnitas. They were delicious. Lean mean and cooked with onions! Amazingly delicious! The sides were delicious as well. The guacamole was homemade and very tasty! Oh and he had the best cup of charro beans! They were so good, we got some to go! The pico de Gallo was fantastic! Best I've ever had... I had the chicken fajitas. Wow!! What a serving! We will have the leftovers with our charro beans! My chicken was so tender and delicious! As a bonus, live music started at 6:00! That was a very nice compliment to our delicious meal!! Not much has changed since it was Dirty Verde. Mediocre food. Dirty cutlery with burned handles. Absent minded wait staff that had the nerve to ask for a nine dollar tip on a twelve dollar meal. I do not recommend this place and I won't be back. read more

we ordered the nacho locos based on the description on the menu. It arrived or should I say something arrived. What we recieved did not match the description of what we ordered, the shrimp had dirty veins still in them and the appearance of or food was just ugly and very unattractive. cheese enchilada is a tortilla with cheese quest inside. The menus smell bad, and that is the first thing that a customer sees and smells. What are they thinking? 2/22/19 1:30 They were not busy. 2nd time to try out the place. This time, we split a plate of steak nachos and beef enchiladas. Both dishes were slightly above room temperature. The nachos had what steak there was on them concentrated in the middle with little chips of cheese that had not been melted and then had some other melted cheese spread around. The little plate had a teaspoon of sour cream and teaspoon of guac and a ton of tomatoes. The nachos were very salty. The beef enchiladas were slightly warm and not very good. Service at the bar was horrible. The bartender was more concerned with tending to her friends. I arrived way before her friends but as soon as they sat down and saw them she walked directly to them and made sure she checked on them constantly. I came to eat here after recommendations from my friends who I was visiting in Monroe. As soon as I walked in I was blown away by the atomosphere. The 2X1 margaritas and steak fajitas were amazing. BUT. Above all was the amazing service I received from a young woman named Skyler. She was very attentive to all my needs, and was so prompt. Ignored by serving staff well over 15 minutes. It wasn't until we stopped a waiter when we were offered drinks and appetizers. Got drinks declined appetizers. No one returned to take our order. Went to the bar and asked for a manager who apologized for the wait and offered us a appetizer for the delay (so we thought) . Got the check and we were charged for the appetizer. Linzy the Manager stated no it wasn't complimentary after all. At this point I'm pissed. Manager Linzy said we had to pay for it bc we consumed it. Heck we wouldn't have ate it if we had known it was complimentary for the horrible service and long wait. Not only did we receive horrible service (the little service we did receive) but we were charge for an appetizer that was offered to us in return for their poor service. Are you kidding me. 05/07/21 seated around 2:30 PM tea - like colored water ordered fajita chicken chimichanga with vegetables -waitress knew vegetables for she repeated back onions and peppers waitress singing out loud off key while waiting to be served. when served - never seen waitress after even dropped fork and had to get up and get my own replacement - when getting replacement seen her sitting down and motioned for her - never did finally asking How all was - told her my chimachangha did not have the vegetables - she took my plate and said - I will take it off ticket- and off she went with my plate . didn't mention my chicken was small cubed pieces not the fajita chicken which is strips .. she returned after a while with our ticket it had not not been taken off - she said, she thought it was - I showed her ticket which showed the charge for the chimachangha - she then stated - the vegetables had - I said I was very dissatisfied - I hadn't even eaten the dish just picked through the chimachangha seen it had no vegetables- I did eat some lettuce and a bite of the beans and rice - even my guest stated that . The waitress then said she would speak to her manager - walked away gesturing with her head - When she returned stated manager would give a 10% discount . No scene made , just stated had dissatisfied I was ..She ripped herself out of a tip -- and restaurant losing our patronage . I have had many group and family gatherings there - no plans to return ! My ticket was $ 34.81- 1 meal ( special before 3 dinner price) - two sides dishes of quesso and one quacomole- 1 water with lemon and 1 tea/ Coke .. lol NO VEGETABLES read more

For a location to be just open a couple of weeks I was pleasantly surprised at the fresh remodeling (this place has seen several restaurants). We appreciated the efficient service, the timely serving of the food, and the quality of both. Usually we've given passes to restaurants who are just getting their feet wet. Our second visit found the relatively large parking lot completely filled. I had to wait for departing diners to get their spot. Inside, it was packed. There were large groups totaling 15 people, but we were able to slip in immediately for a table for 2. It's Tex-Mex, the chips, salsa and bean dip arrived immediately. After drinks and allowing us extra time to review the new place's menu we placed our order. Next to us the table was not happy with their service. It appeared nothing would make them happy. Even the general manager made an appearance to no avail. The restaurant apparently did everything to please the patrons except to comp their ticket (I wouldn't either if I saw all the plates eaten. . . like they were). After hearing their expected "We won't be back" comment the atmosphere was back to us and our meal. I ordered the Bistec A La Mexicana (#35). Grilled steak and onions, tomatoes, spices, peppers and flour tortillas. A guacamole salad and pico, rice and beans plate complemented the sizzling steak plate. My wife had the Camarones a la Plancha (#111). Grilled shrimp with Mexican rice, steamed vegetables and cheese dip. Both plates were delicious and hot. We didn't have drinks, but we look forward to trying their margaritas next time. A pleasant meal. A nice place. Another Tex-Mex place, yes, but tasty to our buds. read more
