This was a treat for me, I had asked for clear coat. I had asked her several times if she was in a rush because she kept making a mess and just rushing through and getting the gel x on the sides of my nails and on my hands. I had asked specifically for her not to do that bc it hurts and she did it anyways. This was such a disappointment. I had asked for my cuticles to have been taken care of and she said she would. They clearly are not taken care of. They look awful and I paid 95 dollars for these and my toes. My toes looked fine because I take care of them but these nails are hideous and I have not stopped crying because of how much I was looking forward to this and had communicated it she was in a rush I would wait but she didn't listen and I ended up with these. Do not go here they do not care and do not listen. I cannot tell you how upset I am and how much work I had to do when I went home to clean this up. This salon changed its name to Imperial Nail & Spa (formerly BCBC Nails Spa). Unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing. I went in for a pedicure, but the technician was clearly not a professional. The polish was uneven and smeared, and I had to ask multiple times for the edges to be cleaned properly. The nail polish brands they use are off-brand and low quality. The entire service took less than 30 minutes, and it felt more like a rushed polish change than an actual pedicure. I do not recommend this place. read more

Really concerned with the salons sanitation control or lack of control. My grandmother had always come here. For a second time she caught a nail fungus. Now again she is seeing a doctor and paying for medicines. She is unable to get out of the house a lot. She always enjoyed going out and getting her nails done. But for a second time to catch a nail fungus which will take now a whole year from now to get rid of the doctor told her. This is embarrassing, and emotionally torture for her. Looking at another review from another customer on yelp that caught a fungus also. We are considering taking legal action against the he salon. read more

I'd give this nail salon more stars if I could. I hope you get your nails done here if you haven't already . I've been getting my nails done here for some time now and I love it! The nail technician's here are all super respectful, they're very careful with painting nails and do their best. Nails here are always done fast and impressively! The nail technician's can do detailed designs on nails and everything, anything complicated! I was surprised. I've been to a LOT of nail salons but none are quite as good as BCBC Nail Spa! The price is also pretty decent and actually cheapest/cheaper! A lot of other nail salons charge more and are more expensive. Low price for high quality. I will never go back there again, and I advise people not to go to a place like this if they want to be treated with respect. I get my nails done all the time, and I've never been treated so poorly in an establishment before. The reason I went back days after having a full set bio gel manicure was because all my nails were cracking on the sides, as if they did not put the bio gel on the nail properly. I needed to get just a polish change and thought I'd give the salon a try. I hadn't been there in over three years due to a very poor experience. Its so close to my house I thought why not, It's just a polish change! What a mistake. When I walked in and said that I wanted a polish change, the lady in charge asked "hands and toes?" I said no just my hands and picked a color. The lady who did my nails was very distracted and again asked if I wanted hands & toes again. During what should have been a 10 or 15 minute procedure, she got up and sat down at least three different times. After taking the polish off my nails she began to file them. She got up and walked away when she came back she didn't even bother to wipe the file dust off my nails & began to polish them. The end results were bubbles on all my nails and a very sloppy job! I asked how much and she said $10 and I gave her a tip. On the way out I looked at the board and saw that the price was $8 for a polish change when I asked the lady in charge why I was charged $10 she said because my nails were filed! Two dollars to file my nails? It wasn't the idea of the extra money it was the fact that the woman did it without even speaking to me. I realize that they were just trying to upsell me which was the exact same thing that happened to me the last time I was there and why I did not return. I go to BCBC at the mall in Calabasas and I will continue to drive the extra 3 miles rather than to go 2 blocks from my house! Love this place. They are so kind and catering! The nails last at least three and a half weeks which is a lot longer than other places in the area. Their color selections are rich and vibrant and remain bright for weeks. The gentleman that did the massage is one of a kind. I don't even feel that great walking out of a spa as I do with his touch. My overall service and the paint job on my nails was horrifying. To say the least, I will never return to this nail salon. On top of leaving with my nails completely ruined, I was laughed at by all of the staff because they told me my nails were dry so I could leave and I messed them up while grabbing my wallet. After kindly asking for my nails to be touched up, I gave my technician the tip and as I was walking away I see her hold it up in the air and start laughing and saying things in Chinese. I came in for a pedicure and a manicure with gel polish. They get credit for having two,people work on me simultaneously which saves a lot of time. They also get credit for being friendly and attentive. But...my nails are mediocre. They don't clean up around the nail so that you have a polished finish. My nails also appear streaky and bumpy to me. You can pay with a card but you can't tip with a card. They have an ATM onsite which has a $1 fee. If you pay cash, you get a 5% discount. For the cost - $85 credit/debit $81 cash, it's not a good job and I won't return. read more

BCBC is a decent spot to get your nails done with good pricing, but patience is key. My friend and I had an appointment and we were not helped at our scheduled time. They were packed and it seemed as though they probably still gave priority to walk-ins because nobody handled us right away and my friend had to wait even longer for her pedicure to get started. In the beginning we thought hmm this place is quiet which is very unusual.. and then later we heard them chit chatting and talking hardcore Vietnamese a lot which usually happens at all nail salons. For the most part, I liked my nail tech as she did what I wanted and took her time on each coat, and shaping it to how I wanted it. I went here because they took walk-ins on a Sunday and I needed to get my nails done for an event. I brought my mom along and paid for a gel manicure for me and a pedicure for her. My gel manicure ran me $30 and my mom's pedicure was $20. Though the paint job itself was pretty good, based on my last experience, I probably wouldn't come back here. There was no soaking and no cuticle treatment, but for a $30, I expected a little more. When she filed my nails and clipped my cuticles, she cleaned it off with a big kabuki brush, then went in for the paint. Next time I'll plan a little better and look for a place that gives a good manicure service at a better price. read more

I came in for a gel manicure and spa pedicure with callous removal. This was my first time getting my nails done in over a year... I was so excited to have some pampering. This was one of the WORST pedicures I've ever had in my life. First of all, I asked fir callous remover. The solution was applied, however the nail tech used a regular pumice to "remove it" while I noticed other customers who also got this add on were having their feet filed with electric drills or long foot files and leaving with smooth feet. No dead skin was removed from my feet. In fact, at the end of my pedicure, the bottoms of my feet were STICKY (because there was still solution left on them), rough, and DRY. The massage was a joke. She brought over a hot stone and rubbed in on my wet, non-lotioned feet which was as enjoyable as... nothing. Then the polishing... my toes look like a child painted them. They were left messy, uneven, and did not dry properly. And for the kicker, I now have an ingrown toe nail. My manicure was just ok... my nails are filed way too short in the middle and long on the sides. This was a total rip off and waste of my time coming here. read more

I don't recommend coming here on the weekend without an appointment. Twice I have come in and they tell me my mani pedi will be done at the same time. They start my pedi and take several walk ins instead of starting my mani. They get people started sitting in the chairs so they don't leave.I'm actually sitting here writing this review as I wait for a mani again.. I'm mad at myself for coming back on a Saturday. It's also very poorly ventilated. When it's busy the chemical smell is very strong. They do a decent job.. Just make sure you come on a weekday or make an appointment. Back here again... changing my 3 star to a 1 Star. They sit you down say you can have a mani pedi at the same time and then take other walk ins while your stuck in the chair only getting one of the two services. If you bring your daughter, they will take other people before your child and make your child wait. They are rude and rush people through. Don't go here if you can avoid it. First experience here was good other than the rude lady who does acrylics. I thought I had finally found a salon close to my house but this second experience was terrible. No lotion massage... so just rubbery gloves pulling across my skin. The water in the foot spa was cold, she didn't fix it. Did I mention I had to wait nearly 10 minutes? 6 employees were just watching tv and eating mango. There were only2 other customers in there. The rude acrylic lady just barked "you sit down can't you see someone is paying" I was no where near the register area! The $40 mani pedi was mediocre at best. Some nails the polish is a bit lumpy, nails were not shaped evenly. It wasn't even a relaxing experience as there was a screaming/ crying toddler running around and a dog inside.
