Most crowded salon which isnt a total bad thing. The problem is they have no system & the place is kind of a mad house. I came for a pedicure and it seemed like the manicurist was in a rush. He barely let my feet soak so it hurt when he was cutting cuticles and what not. Then i asked him to cut my ingrowns & he barely cut even the corners of my nails & sajd he was done. I kept telling him that it still hurt & he argued w me. I had to bend over & show him myself where the ingrown was & fish it out for him. He also grabbed the wrong shade of my color which thank god I was paying attention & noticed the number on the bottle was wrong. Perks is this place is super cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. Ended having to drive back after getting home because i realized he only painted half of my pinky toe too. read more

I got a full set w/ gel polish. They looked fine, and I wasn't unhappy when I left. Only problem was there were a couple of chunks of acrylic underneath my nails, and my thumb chipped the next day. I also got a regular pedicure and my cuticle was cut too deeply on one of my toes which hurt for a couple days. I know they are trying their best... working outside in the heat during these crazy COVID times can't be easy. I just expected a bit more for the price I was paying. read more

I am super knit picky about my nails, I've had to shop around for a long time since I moved here from San Diego two years ago. Finally, BCBC was highly recommended by a friend of mine and I have to say, I am so thankful!! My nails last up to 4 weeks and still look really good before I have to go in for a fill. Everytime I make an appointment Jason is there waiting for me which I appreciate more than anything. Do not get John. He was hurting me and I politely said "please stop your hurting me" and when I pulled my hand away he aggressively grabbed my hand. I decided to go back there to fix the nails he messed up and I got him again. I asked him to just fix two of my gels and he decided to take all of them off. Also, when I've been there before they don't soak, lotion, or anything. They go straight to filing. read more

Love the Westlake Village location but got folliculitis after coming to this location. I have never had this before and finally after a week of burning and itching rashes on my legs and feet, I went to the doctor who diagnosed. This place is great. Everyone is so friendly. I highly recommend making an appointment with Jason, but everyone is great. I get my nails done every 3-4 weeks. If I get in between 3-4 weeks my nails still look great. After 4 weeks, I am able to pick them off. But this is amazing for me since most places I am able to pick them off in less than 2 weeks. John gives the best pedicure and is so nice. Recently they have been a little understaffed so there is a bit of wait, but it's totally worth it. Everyone is wonderful and if you aren't happy, they are more than happy to make it right. Note: They only take cash tips. Let me start off by saying I am not a super particular person when it comes to manicures, so for me to post a review says a lot... however, but both times at this place have not been a favorable experience. First time I went, I got a guy named John. I did not have a good first experience but I gave him the benefit of the doubt today when I went in as he was the only one there to do my nails. Both times he was rough, barely said hello, only soaked one of my hands in water (?), and felt extremely rushed and careless the whole time. After he did my gels, he went to file off the color that was left on my skin that he didn't get off before putting under the light and DUG his nails on both sides trying to scrape the gel off my skin - OUCH. To top it off, while he was massaging my hands for the 10 seconds he did, he continued to crack both sets of knuckles on my arm during the massage?! Do not recommend. read more

I had made two appts for my daughter and her friend. When my daughter showed up for her appt with Angel. She wouldn't take her. She was there and she would not take her. They tried to give her to someone else then Angel just walked out. It was the weirdest thing. Angel never came back and my daughter was there waiting for 1 1/2 hours while her friend got her nails done and my daughter left with no manicure. What is the point of an appt with a specific person. They wouldn't talk to my daughter about what happened and only talked among themselves. So rude. My daughter and her friend are 16, they treated her horribly while she waited and waited. They wanted her to go to the male technician there but we have had him before and had a terrible experience. This is an unprofessional place and we will never be going back. I have referred several friends to this place and all have girls who go. Treat your customers with respect no matter what the age! read more

They are always incredibly friendly and make time for me when I want to come in and on top of that, they do an AWESOME job! I usually have Jason do my nails but the past two times, I've seen Henry and he did an amazing job. I wanted something fun for Halloween and he ended up doing a super cool design and make them look exactly like I wanted them to! The people that work here do not have their licenses!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! They don't know what they doing here. They do not speak English. For their pedicures, you get 20 minutes. My nails are super uneven and not smooth at all. They took big toe nail clippers and literally cut my toe nails super jagged!! I was shocked. I had to ask them to fix it- but they had no clue what I was saying. They did not do my cuticles or under the toe cleaning either. Completely 100% honest - all they did was cut my toes, rub my legs scrub my heels for 2 mins and paint my toes. That was it. 20 mins in and out. My toes look like crap and now I'm worried I might get a toe nail infection. Super unprofessional. Stay away. Far away. read more

His gel manicures last for more than 3 weeks (my nails grow quickly so I can't go longer than that), and they never chip or peel. Plus, he's super sweet and always very accommodating. Went here yesterday for a mani/pedi. The water for the pedicure was super hot. I told the lady & she turned off the water. That doesn't solve the problem but i let it go. The lady that did my manicure rushed because another customer walked in & she removed a few cuticles, painted my nails & called it a day. I thought the lady who did my pedicure was better until I came home & noticed red bumps on my foot. Not sure if it's from the boiling hot water or what not but I'm definitely going to see my md just to be sure. Also one of the male techs, the younger of the two was rude and sarcastic to a customer that the lady walked out. She gave him plenty of time to offer to correct her nails or to atleast stop being rude but he didn't. Probably because she already paid tip included. Another tech only offered to fix her nails as she was walking out not before the issue escalated. I feel bad for the customer because she paid for her mani/ped before the service was done & left them a big tip but left the place with unfinished nails. So unprofessional. read more

I would never trust these people to get anywhere near my nails ever again. I've come in multiple times and every time my experiences have gotten worse and worse. First time in, I called ahead to schedule an appointment, upon arrival the hostess didn't even look up from his phone and nodded in the direction of a seat and told me to wait. I waited for 30 minutes and not a single person helped me, I ended up leaving because I had somewhere to be. Complete waste of time. Second time I waited around 20 minutes (having called hours before for an appointment...) and once seated the woman began to cut my nails, WITH CUTICLE CLIPPERS. My nails are extremely strong and if cut straight on, the way she did, they tend to crack near the bottom. I had never seen anyone trim nails this way and thought it strange but didn't comment. I left and once I got in my car realized that none of my nails were straight, it looked like a monkey tried to cut my nails. Later in the week I was on vacation, putting on my shoes, and a crack near the bottom of my nail (that I hadn't noticed yet) got snagged on my shoe. It ripped my nail right off. I was bleeding and had to immediately find a salon. Since these are my natural nails with a regular gel set, the nail beds are extremely long and once ripped off my nail bed was exposed, the remains of my nail completely destroyed. I checked the rest of my nails and realized 3 others where cracked. I was in the shower and one got caught in my hair and split another nail! I have gotten my nails done every single month for years and have never had such a horrible experience. Don't give them your money. Don't give them your time. read more

I would be giving 5 starts but I'm rating the business as a whole. I've only had Amy do my nails a few times now and she always does such a wonderful job. She takes her time to ensure that your nails are done the way you want them to look. I always make an appointment with Amy. Unfortunately, one day I came in for my appointment but Amy was over booked so someone else did my nails. I was very disappointed in their work I would have rated them a 0. They rushed on my nails so they could leave because it was the end of their shift. I even had to ask Amy to fix some of my nails after the other employee rushed out. I have been getting my nails done every 2 weeks since I was a teenager. I have been with my nail guy for years. He is currently out of the country so I decided to go to BCBC Nails since I was in the area. I went in just for a manicure. They didn't soak my fingers which I found odd and he started cutting my cuticles. I asked why he wasn't soaking them and he said they don't do that. I thought it was strange but left it at that.
