The tech left and told me that the fixtures were not functioning and would need to be diagnosed with another visit. I was given a quote for 1100 dollars to fix the issue. Within the first moments of troubleshooting, wiring was cut in two locations, the issue remained unresolved, and the wires were left exposed, which I had to repair myself. Ultimately, the GFCI issue was traced to two GFCIs on the same circuit (from a prior homeowner), but this was only determined after the visit. The total bill exceeded $400 for less than an hour of work and a single GFCI/outlet that likely cost less than $25.
