He had an opening earlier than expected and offered to come out sooner and pickup necessary products on the way to my home. He respected my ask for fan remote color, which was great. He was able to solve the issue quickly and demonstrated care and consideration for my home. Additionally, he provided analysis on other issues he saw and recommendations for follow up. This never felt "sales-y", just care of the home and safety related to electrical. The team fixed the fan/remote kit for a vaulted ceiling fan, mapped the breaker, and analyzed a switch in the wall that previously had no connection. Their price was higher than some other offers, but would have had to wait days to even get an assessment. This team was in and out right away and did the job right. We used this service twice. Once to "fix" some everyday issues and (since that went well) once to install a second 240 plug for EV charging. There was a small hiccup in communication about the date expected for service, but that was ironed out quickly and to our satisfaction by Rick. Let me preface this review in stating it is well overdue. Richard Olinger Electric was hired in 2023 to install a 240v outlet in our garage for my new EV. Installation was seamless. The problem I had was the charger was shut off while charging and read as an error. Rick went out of his way to help me troubleshoot the problem. He even suggested I to go to his house to use his outlet to make sure it was not the new charging device I purchased. It wasn't. Long story short, he figured out I had to adjust my car settings in order for my car to charge. Simple fix for sure but not so simple for a new EV owner! I apologize Rick for the very tardy review. Rich's team did an excellent job at installing our EVSE behind our main panel inside the garage. My only regret was that I should've been more specific with the circuit breaker rating for our hardwired installation.
