I have never been so pleased with a company that wanted to help me out. Bill and Nick were great to…read morework with. We had an issue that required prompt attention, and they accommodated my family during this time of need. The quality of work they provided was also exceptional. The crew was on time (actually early) and did a great job, not just the carpet but also cleaning up after themselves. Thanks again for excellent Customer Service, Quality materials, and Great Workmanship!! Patrick Morrow

This company use to have a great manager but then she unexplainably disappeared? The new manager…read moreNick was nice, but some things need to get better with this company. So everything was paid for, and the appointment was made to install the carpet. Supposedly " " they showed up, but couldn't install. They said they couldn't install because they didn't have any room to cut the carpet. They couldn't use their power tools because we didn't have electricity set up yet. They couldn't cut the carpet because the garage had building things in it and we did not have a driveway yet. This is the kicker..... no appointment was made, and they broke into the back of the house and installed the carpet without anyone knowing. NOTHING HAS CHANGED from the time that they supposedly showed up. Power tools??? You don't need power tools to install carpet. You have your tracks and you have your carpet that you have to cut and put down. Honestly, I should have made a police report. What company breaks into your house and does this?!?! As far as the quality that is to be seen... as I said, in the beginning, this company needs to be ran more efficient. I am still confused on how an appointment was made and they couldn't do their job yet broke into the house on a no appointment made day and did it when nothing has changed?!? I would rethink your choices and do some homework before you decide on this company.

I could not update my last review, so here is a new one…read more Edit: the flooring has been completed now for one week. 50 Floor is not the company that came out to install the floor - it was a local contractor by the name of Ed Floors who works out of the Charlotte area. The team feathered in the new floor into the old, meaning that they took out a few boards from the old floor into order to get the new floor to flow as smoothly as possible. The material is similar to the type that was already installed, but the new material has more worm holes and noticeable defects -issues that are common with real oak but I do wish those specific boards were either not used or the holes patched as needed. Again, I understand the flaws are common, but the floors we were matching did not have these same imperfections. That said, the team did everything they could to ensure that the new floor was stained to a color I was content with. We tried many colors and the team remained patient with me the entire time, showing their level of detail for customer service. Even though I am disappointed with the material itself, I cannot overlook the patience and level of detail that the team had - 5 star experience with the subcontractor used! The work took 5 days, beginning on a Monday and finishing on a Saturday. In the photos, you can see the difference between the lip that was there before and is now gone. This is a 4‑star review based on the project's current progress. Kevin, my salesperson, demonstrated solid product knowledge and provided clear guidance. The scope includes replacing approximately 400 sq. ft. of LVP with natural hardwood and staining it on site to match my original 1990s oak flooring. The process will require the space to be cleared for 4-5 days. Although the payment structure--50% upfront and 50% at the start of work--initially gave me pause, the team assured me they will resolve any issues before finalizing the job. The quoted price was about $5,800 (after all the discounts), and the installation is scheduled for the week of May 4th. I look forward to seeing the completed work

Message to cat owners if you have pee stains they will not replace the subfloor only if its damaged is when they will.
