Ben came out within an hour or so of telling him my situation. He assessed the situation and got to work quickly. He gave the price upfront before performing the work was done in a half hour. Work performed: remove a stuck door latch that had broken while closed ($85) and install 2 new door locks ($69 x2). BTW, I only discovered that I needed a second lock repair after asking about the damaged lock, then we looked at the front door and noticed that the security latch was also damaged. I don't use this type of service ordinarily so I cannot compare to other locksmiths out there; but, he seems like he knows what he is doing and can give you non-Home Depot recommendations if you want to upgrade your door security. Just know that he doesn't accept checks. I paid via credit card. Towards the end of our business, before handing me the receipt, Ben asked me who I was voting for. I love politics and religion, but I also know better than to start conversations with hot button topics like that with strangers. Very touchy subjects, right? But, he's a Russkie and I think Russkies don't shy away from talking politics. I claim ignorance on Russian culture so don't hate! Anyhow, the Yelp 5 star rating is for his professional service. Benjamin is a lifesaver! You can tell he's an honest worker and likes to just get things done for you. Especially being a young woman, I'm probably a target for scammers. But he was great. My 2001 Integra has been broken into a few times, and the last break in the jerk must've jammed my ignition so bad (trying to steal my car) that I couldn't turn my key in the ignition to start my car at all!
