My husband and I had planned most of the wedding and we were looking for someone that could help us in the week leading up to the wedding and on the day of. I found Kelly through Craigslist and her price was really affordable. Given that we had a large wedding, Kelly also brought on two wedding assistants to help with the multiple events on the wedding day. From the moment I spoke with Kelly on the phone, I really appreciated her professionalism, attention to detail and her down to earth personality. After explaining the details our wedding, I was pretty confident she could do the job. Leading up to the wedding we met and finalized the details with her. She coordinated our wedding rehearsal and we gave her all the DIY decor, candy and other supplies for her to set up the day of the wedding. It was nice to know I didn't have to worry about decorating and little details like that the day of the wedding! On the day of the wedding, Kelly took the lead to setting up the venue and one of her assistants helped us with the setup and breakdown of our Chinese tea ceremony. The wedding venue and the decor at the reception looked beautiful when I saw it. Kelly did an amazing job of setting up. For the ceremony and the reception, I was confident that things were being taken care of. Kelly would come by and offer us anything that we needed and I appreciated how she helped packed everything up after the wedding was over so it was easy to take home. It was all very seamless. Looking back, if I had to comment on areas of improvement, I would say I wish Kelly had reminded me of things I probably forgotten to think about. For example, we had forgotten to give her our gift card and envelope box for the registration table (my parents had it in the back of their car) and guests were confused about where to leave the cards. I didn't realize it was missing till after the wedding and I thought that would be one forgotten detail that would have been pretty noticeable. Also during the reception, when some issues did occur, there were times where we couldn't find the wedding assistants or Kelly. Given that it was a big wedding, I understand they could have been monitoring everything behind the scenes, but we hoped that we could have had more access to them. We found Tiana through an IG ad, where she promoted Exotic Green Garden along with an all-inclusive wedding package at Lake Lindero Golf Course. The Exotic Green Garden IG page looked beautiful, and the package was within our budget, so we decided to reach out to learn more. Upon meeting Tiana, she was super friendly and honest about the costs, what can be personalized, and was patient in answering our many questions. We left the meeting feeling like we made a new friend, but still wanted to explore other options as she was the very first vendor we met in our wedding planning journey. After a week or so of reaching out to other florists, we decided that nobody could beat what Tiana offered, and her lovely personality was a huge plus. It was an easy decision to book Tiana as our florist, coordinator, and the wedding package for our wedding on October 4th, 2025 at Lake Lindero Golf Course. Leading up to our wedding, Tiana was very communicative with us every step of the way. It was so easy to reach her and hear back in a timely manner, whether it was through email, text, or a phone call. She was always ready to address our questions and concerns, and put our mind at ease. She even gave us suggestions on how to save money with our florals, which we truly appreciated. In addition to Tiana, we also worked with Adena (her sister) and Lance (her father and our officiant). We met Lance via FaceTime a few months before so he could learn about us, and he was so kind and funny that we knew he'd do a wonderful job making our ceremony go smoothly. He even had an additional call with us and sent reminder texts to make sure we were aware of what's needed for the day. We met Adena at our wedding rehearsal, where we learned she would be our day of coordinator instead. We were a little surprised since we thought Tiana would do this. But Adena re-assured us that she was familiar with the schedule and during the rehearsal, we were relieved to see how personable she was, and her professionalism matched that of Tiana and Lance, and we knew we were in good hands. On our wedding day, we received so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved the florals. We didn't see Tiana on our wedding day, but definitely felt how much love and care she put into them as they turned out beautiful, like exact replicas of our Pinterest photos. Several of our guests even snuck some away, which we didn't know till the end of the night lol! Our guests also praised Lance on how he conducted our ceremony and made it feel personable to us. Throughout the wedding, Adena constantly checked in on us to make sure we were hydrated, feeling ok, and keeping us informed about the schedule. We chose the middle-tier gold planning package, which meant she was with us throughout the entire year. Looking back, we felt that the middle portion of planning was quieter than expected, with long stretches of minimal communication or updates. Because of that, we honestly think couples who prefer lighter involvement might have a better experience with her "month-of" package, since that seems to align more naturally with the areas where she was the most active and present. As we approached the final stretch, things became a bit more stressful. The timeline was finalized later than expected and included several mistakes, which made us feel uneasy heading into the wedding week. At the rehearsal, it felt like some key details we had clarified earlier didn't fully carry over, leading to some confusion. We also often felt like our requests were met with hesitation rather than collaboration or compromise, which added to the pressure of those final days. Instead of a "that sounds great, let's see how we can make that work!", a lot of our ideas were met with a "here's what I think we should do instead." With our package, she does have a full google sheets planner, that you are responsible for filling out (understandably so). However, it felt as though these were prioritized over actual communication. For this reason, looking back I think the 'month-of' contract would've been maybe a better fit and a planner guide could be purchased on etsy. All of that said, we want to acknowledge that on the actual wedding day, she was very helpful and very present, and we ended up having a truly beautiful wedding. We're grateful for the effort she put in, especially early on, and we know she has strengths that many couples will appreciate. With more consistent communication throughout the full planning period, a bit more attention to detail in the end stages, and appreciating and compromising on the couples ideas, we think future clients could have a better experience.
