Beautiful salon. Nice staff. Nails ....ick I came in as a walk-in for a fill because my regular nail technician was out of town, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I was seated right away with a nice, older technician, but the service was incredibly rushed and careless. She used barely filed my old acrylic the hardly put on any new acrylic and skipped proper prepping with the primer, so I am already expecting these to lift and chip. The filing was uneven and she barely buffed them--you can literally see waves in my nails right under the polish. The shape is fine - but they were already shaped from regular nail person. Barely any cuticle oil or cleanup around the edges, either. To make matters worse, the station was dirty. The brush she used to sweep away dust was full of dried gel and hard as a rock (wash your brush!!!!) and the UV light looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. It felt very gross and unsanitary. i love this place. Lily is so fast and gets me in the same day. its a little bit of a drive from me but when i try to go anywhere closer, I regret it. she is definitely worth the drive. she also knows what i like and gets me in and out within 40 min. you can't top that. she is so friendly too. i have had my dad in here a couple times with ingrown toenails and they are always so good to him and helps him so much! read more

My experience went as such, I arrived at my appointment time scheduled with Lily with an inspiration photo of how I'd like my nails. was still painting another customer nails so while waiting a man put my tips on and cut them to the desired length. Lily comes and shapes and applied the colored powder acrylic of my choice and does the design which I think was fairly easy had she painted one hand with black tips and the other with white and then move forward with the design. Instead she paints each finger nail and has me stick my whole hand in the UV light to dry one nail for both color and design. And here we are 6 days later and two of my nails are lifting from the cuticle. Well the 7th day I decided to soak them off because of the lifting. After not wearing nails for years because of the UV light exposure, chemicals, and damage to the nail beds acrylic cause I've been reminded why I'll never get acrylic on my nails. My nail beds are completely destroyed, two of my nails have cuts across them and groves I rendered at the top part of my cuticles. Again this is my experience after paying $80.00 for a full set and having to soak them off a week later due to the lifting and poor application process I'll never return nor recommend nor. The fact that she did my nails the way she did told me exactly how she felt about me and my hard earned money, never again, lesson learned. After having my index finger nail detach where the split in my nail is more than enough reason to report this service to the Board of Cosmetology. read more

so upset with how my nails came out, I asked for shellac French tip & my goodness. I wanted to cry bc of how upset I was because they looked horrible. The lady started doing my nails around 6pm they close at 7pm. One she was either in a rush because she wanted to go home on time or second she just does ugly nails. The lady that did my nails was sitting in the end chair, I didn't get a name, but that's her spot. ( I'm assuming ) The white tip is not even straight, I asked for her to do thin line French tip bc I know my nails weren't that long, but look how thick I'm not sure if you can see in the pictures but there is lint in my nails. The only reason I came here is because I wanted to give them a try because I seen the reviews and it seems like maybe they have decent acrylic nails, but this lady that happened to do a shellac manicure just sucked at it. My nails are so ugly! I paid 35 dollars which is not bad for the price but I have a feeling she charged me 35 because she knew she did a sucky job, bc I also got a pedicure and it came out decent not bad by another lady & she charged me 40 but I just got a shellac pedicure clear pink. So it doesn't make sense how a French tip shellac manicure cost less than a shellac pedicure for a solid clear pink coat.... Won't be returning back. read more

Went in for a full set. Typically I see Hanna, but she was unavailable. The young lady I was assigned to, without sanitizing, began cutting down My existing nails....and proceeded to use a fresh nail tip, to LIFT MY OLD SET OFF. If you can't tell by the CAPS, things didn't go well. The first nail, I felt sharp pain right up My arm. I flinched. She didn't stop. She went onto the second nail, and immediately, there was blood. Know why? Because she ripped up My nail off the actual bed. She was going to continue, but I pulled My hands away. "This doesn't work for Me. Are you not seeing the blood?" She put her hands up in defense, and says she will soak My nails off, but that it would cost extra. She offered nor administered no first aid. I was switched to another tech who proceeded to tell Me the reason it happened, was because My nails are thin. I said firmly and audibly, "No, this happened because the tech was lazy and used a nail to rip off the old set. That's not supposed to happen." He gruffly finished My service. I also got a pedicure, btw. At checkout, no apology, no discount, nothing. I used to come here because of the convenient location, however, I shan't ever return. read more

The salon is spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I had the Micro blading on my eyebrows done by Lily. She is great. She spent hours measuring and drawing out my eyebrows so they would be the perfect shape for my face. She mixed her own color right there to perfectly match my hair and skin tone. I am actually redheaded so I'm used to leaving the house every day with NO eyebrows LOL I feel like a different person now I wake up every day and I look at myself with sculpted eyebrows! Lol. First comfortable nail experience in forever! A lot of salons make you real feel like a chore, but not this one. They're so sweet and polite. The woman in the first chair (I asked her name but totally forgot!) did my acrylic and was super quick, they're a little different than my inspiration pic, but I think they still turned out cut! My pedicure was very nice too. They start at $24 and anything above that is $40+. I just got the basic and added a callus remover for $5. Will refer people here from now on :) read more

I had to address the fact that my nails were super crooked three times, and I finally asked if he could just me the damn nail file so I could fix it myself. He said no and he would fix it. He didn't. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was a walk in just to remove some gel nails... they said 15 min. 30 minutes later I got fed up and asked how much longer and he asked me if I could come back another time. Ok so boom...... my mom and sister were approached by Lily in the gym. She was raving about her lashes, lash lifts, microblading etc, so they decided to take a chance on her. My sister looked on yelp (did not read reviews) and saw they have four stars so she thought nothing of it. The next day they go in and get a lash lift my mom's lashes had a little curl but my sister's lashes were the exact same. I read the reviews say nothing regarding anything lash related all (best reviews were about nails and pedicures). My mom wanted to give Lily the benefit of the doubt and give the lash lift 24 hours before she went back to complain yet when she woke up the next day her eyes looked yellowish red. My mom went back immediately to ask for a better solution for her situation and my sister. Don't get me wrong Lily is super friendly and a great time, I wouldn't go in for anything lash, lash lift or micro blading or anything with the eyes area. Just stick to the nails yall! Only reason I'm giving them a 2 when they deserve a 0 is because Lily gave my sister and mom the best outcome for their situation which I appreciate, thank you Lilly! read more

I really wanted to like this place but both times I got my nails done I was left extremely disappointed. The lady who did my nails didn't do a good job with the acrylic and left my nails appearing bubble like. They are also all misshaped and different lengths. I started coming here two months ago and I am completely satisfied with the services they provide! So after loosing my nail tech of 7 years at Queen Bee I have been on a hunt for a shop in which I could build a relationship with one nail tech and I found her, here at Bebe! Her name is Lily and she is AWESOME Most nail shops that I have been to while on my hunt for a permanent shop have been so rude. An example of a rude experience was--I call to make an appointment with a particular person and when I get there the person I made an appointment with is "busy" (which is why I made the appointment). Moreover, they typically try to push me off onto someone else...like I said earlier, I like to build a relationship with my nail tech so that she/he knows who I am, how I like my nails done, etc. Because sometimes the language barrier can interfere but if I am going to the same person every time I can avoid trying to explain myself and being unsatisfied. Fast forward, here at Bebe from the first time I came Lily has shown that she is a sincere lady who really loves what she does! She can do a full set in 35 mins and her work is absolutely gorgeous!!!! She does exactly what I want and how I want!!! She doesn't try to persuade me to do something else nor does she bombard me with trying to do extra services. But it is not just Lily who does great work. Everyone there is very through with their work, patient and very pleasant! To name a few: Annie, Nina and Hannah give awesome pedicures/massages. Their facility is ALWAYS clean! They offer snacks and water, will change the TV to what you want to watch, are very accommodating and genuine. I love going here and although I am moving to LA I will drive down just to receive my services by them because they are just that awesome! Please go and see them and make sure you let them know I (Jade) sent you! They are typically not busy but they are short staffed but again, they are efficient and diligent! Check them out! read more

I've come here twice now and both times I've been very satisfied. The most recent time I went was yesterday for a regular polish manicure. The woman who helped me (I wished I asked for her name!) was very nice and took great care of my nails. I appreciated how she kept asking if I like the length or shape bc she wanted to make me happy as a customer. She did an awesome job squaring my nails and cleaning up/ rounding out my cuticles. She definitely took her time (which is a good but could also be a bad thing). That would be something to take note of! I thought a regular manicure wouldn't take that long but it took her roughly 50 minutes. I was not in rush to go anywhere, so I did not mind. I found it relaxing, even. But I would take that into consideration if you plan to squeeze an appointment in before making plans for immediately after. Little one day update on my nails: Still in love with the square shape. I do see chipping, but that is to be expected when you use regular polish and also use your hands a lot at work. There are also tiny bubbles on some nails, but I would blame that on myself. I don't have the greatest patience, so I left quickly after only 5-8 minutes of dry time. I wish I had just stayed still now, but regardless, these natural nails are bombbbb. Be Be Nails is fabulous! Like her other loyal followers, I met Lily at a previous salon. She is the BEST and I would follow her anywhere. She's been doing my acrylics for over a year and not once, not even ONCE, have I ever had any lifting or problems whatsoever. Not a chip or scratch, other than the ones I put there accidentally, because I'm not gentle with them. I wash dishes every day, vacuum, clean our bathroom, etc, and my nails look like I don't lift a finger! Worth every penny.... and then some. If you want to look your best, this is a great investment. And Lily is just a sweetheart... along with her husband Don. They are patient, funny and quite polite and professional. The new salon is beautiful, too! What more do you need to read?? Go! Wow. I can't speak on the nail service here, but THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO FOR WAXING. For one, the prices are 20% higher than other local places, and two, it was just HORRIBLE. I typically don't write negative reviews, but I want to spare anyone the pain of going here for a wax. I went in for a full leg and Brazilian wax. She started with my legs. She would put too little wax on the spatula, and proceed to scrape it against my skin causing unnecessary stretching and pulling, which was quite painful. Then, as she was removing the wax strip, she would pull slowly, and incompletely, and made it hurt worse than I had ever experienced. I am pretty timid, so I thought I would just go through with it and allow her to finish, knowing I would never come back. I should have just up and left, but my cowardly nature got the best of me. When she did the Brazilian, it was EVEN WORSE. I typically go to Roshni Beautycare in Manteca, who can have me in and out with a complete Brazilian in less than 15 minutes (and virtually painless!). This lady, kept asking me to pull the skin taut in all of the wrong directions, and she kept pulling the wax strips off slowly causing more pain. Although this location is 5 minutes from my house, I will continue doing the drive to Manteca to have a cheaper, and more comfortable wax by a talented and dedicated aesthetician. Hardeep is worth the extra drive. read more

So I went here on Friday and not even 3 days later the gel has chipped. When I first got my nails done there was gel around my fingers because the lady struggled to only paint my nails. I went with a friend and had a 4 pm appointment. They asked us when we called when we first came in, even though there was no one getting their nails done at the time. We asked to sit together and they told us no because the woman doing our nails their stations were on separate places. It was just me and my friend getting our nails done and they could have easily accommodated us. Then 10 mins later 2 other woman come to do their nails and they sit next to me and another next to my friend! At the end I expected a good massage after getting a manicure, nope! Today was my first time here but first off I would like to say the salon itself is SO nice, it's so clean and organized. new to the area. this is my second time coming here and i do not recommend. they like to miscommunicate and add on random charges. and the simplest designs i showed them they told me they didn't know how to do and to choose something else, how are you a nail shop and can't keep up with the nail trends ?? and just like last time i got cut on my toe during my pedicure and cut on my finger while getting my nails done. before i let them work on me i asked with photos of what i wanted to be CLEAR on the price for exactly what i wanted, my pedicure was $40 + $7 for the hot wax and at checkout the charged me $65 due to the white polish i chose and for my nails i was quoted $50 but at checkout they charged $67 because of the white powder they used for the milky look . my nails look bumpy and crooked. i was charged total of $132 for basic white toes and basic milky french tip that the lady had to ask the boss how to do even do it. ridiculous, in the bay i would only pay $70 max for what i got at this shop. home techs are wiping these nail shops out the game so if anyone recommends a home tech hmu . go anywhere but bebe nails waste of time money and the techs don't know how to do anything other than basic designs. read more

WORST SALON. My normal nail salon was booked up so I found this place on yelp and saw they had great reviews. HANAH did my nails I asked for coffin shape she first didn't glue the nails on properly so she had to redo it. Then I asked her to file one more because it was crooked she trapped my hand and threw it back to me. Once she started to refile it was worse and she was clearly upset I had asked her to redo it. I said never mind and asked her if she could take them off. She threw my hands AGAIN. Made fun of me to where everyone in the salon was laughing out loud. Ripped off the fake nails and said "there. Let me first start off by saying I am a very picky girl when it comes to my nails ... and finally I don't have to drive all The way to the Bay Area to get them done I lived in the Modesto area about 2 years ago and moved to the Bay Area.. Now returning back to Modesto I was driving to San Jose every two weeks to get my nails done by an amazing woman.. but the drive is soo long back and forth. Yesterday I was debating driving to the bay or going back to the nail place I used to visit in Modesto.. so I called them and asked for two specific people.. nails and feet .. both of them were "fully booked". So I did a little yelping and came across Be Be Nails...looked at the reviews .. decided to go for it and give them a call. Surprisingly very polite man answered and I asked too make an appointment with lily.. after reading all her fabulous reviews .. I was politely put on hold so that I could speak to her personally. I asked for a 2:00 appointment.. and she said yes !!! In my head I'm thinking this is too good too be true .. everything was going so well.. and a big plus ; only 4 min from home! I get there and am given a large amount of colors too choose from while she finished her customer, When I sat at lily's table is was all a breeze from there I showed her a couple pictures she showed me 5 different colored powder and we made a match. I can't say enough how much I love my nails .. I even got two compliments today on how beautiful my nails look. From the shape to the color to all the wonderful customer service I will definitely be back And lily is my new nail tech!!! Thank you lily!
