So happy to be back for the third time! This fine establishment is such a great gem in Modesto. I never leave disappointed, as they are professional, friendly, and the facilities are very clean. They have a lot of great options in terms of colors, services, and price is very reasonable. My go to people are Ty and Lan. They are so quick, precise and gentle. I recommend everyone I know to stop by to get some special pampering from the team here.
My husband and I got a pedicure here just 5 hours ago and my toes already look like this. We paid $45 for each for their best pedicure with the extra 5 minutes of massage. We did not receive the extra 5 minutes of massaging. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Shortest pedicure of my life. How long is the basic pedicure? 5 minutes? We paid $120 total for the pedis plus tip and feel ripped off. When are places like this going to stop ripping people off and just provide the service people pay for AND do a good job??? We will never be back!
These nails are less than a week old and are already lifting and so grown out. She did no nail/cuticle prep so that's probably the reason why. On one of the clear nails she accidentally put white acrylic then just scraped it off so the nail has leftover white under the clear acrylic. my pedicure was cut so short it hurts and I now have an ingrown nail. Won't be returning such a waste of money.
As suspected... my nails were destroyed. 30 minutes into work and ine has snapped 2 places, well into the quick area. It's going to be painful to fix before it rips the rest of my nail off. Hi Diane I have been in and out of acrylics for over 30 years. I am well aware that thinning occurs. Even when I have gel polish placed on, they have been sturdier. You guys basically charged 45$ to paint my nails as the "manicure" was not a manicure. I would prefer a refund without having to contact the bank. The polish came off the same day. If I had bad service why would I want to come back for more poor service. Besides its kind of hard to paint the quick of a nail. Thin is one thing... it's beyond thin on top of the odd shape.

I've had it the first time I came here too - about a month or so ago. So they do their thing, the pedicure comes out nice enough and at the end when they go to charge me, they say it's $60 and I'm like whaaat I thought I said the $45?? Because they don't even go off what you booked online, they'll just ask you when you get there anyway and when I got there I said "$45 with gel" butttt she tells me nooo I picked the $45 with gel so it was $60... I'm thinking wtf was the extra $15 for? Some extra lotions and rubbing? It felt so regular and nothing out of the norm, I thought I was getting the basic gel pedicure like I had said. I dunno I just feel so gipped just because you go in there thinking you'll pay a certain amount and it ends up coming out different. I paid for my friend too, and still tipped $20 so the total was like $110... I don't know if they literally just recently updated their menu prices or what. The update would have had to happen within the last couple weeks because I've only been coming here for about a month or so in total. Anyway, it sort of has discouraged me from coming back or maybe I just need to try some other places out first. It is what it is, maybe just miscommunication this time around pedicure and services were still great just doesn't feel $60 worth by any means. I think if I go again I'll just make sure to show them the picture of my booking.
Beautiful nail salon! Love the vibe, cleanliness, and professionalism. Came with a couple family members. The manicurists were very friendly and did a great job with our mani/pedicures. We enjoyed our time here very much and will be back again!
1. I love that you can book your appointment online. 2. Diana does a thorough job She takes her time to make sure the shape and apex of your acrylics are good before continuing to the next nail. I asked her to clean up my cuticle a bit (which is now already grown out lol) and she obliged. 3. They were also able to squeeze me in for a gel pedi after my nails were done. 4. Very nice staff. No rude gossiping about clients in another language.
if you only want ONE SINGLE color on your nails they may not SUCK that bad. I PAYED $100 for a HORRIBLE JOB (nails and pedi) I asked for an specific design (showed them the picture) i first wanted acrylic on my own nail and make it bigger from there NOT ADDING THE ACTUAL FAKE NAIL, the guy said "it's too small i can't." i said i have had it done before. he said well idk how so we agreed on putting the actual fake nail RECEIVED THIS horrible paint nails, horrible JOB. the nails are not well glued, he hurt me at least 3 times... horrible EXPENSIVE NAILS PLACE save yourself and your money please
Very soothing and relaxing experience! My mom and I decided to try somewhere new to get our nails done at, and I found this place on Yelp. Initially, we had come in after booking appointments on their website, so when we came in, we found it kind of odd that we were treated as a walk-in when I specified that we had appointments. But we were served immediately. I had Alyssa do my pedicure and Mai do my manicure. Both were good and diligent at what they did. I found Mai to be super thorough with my finger nails, which I appreciated her taking the extra time and effort to correct mistakes in my nails. I would go with her again. On the other hand, my mom had her manicure done by another woman (didn't catch her name). She noticed that there was an inconsistency with the manicure process between the other lady and Mai: Mai would massage your hands, have you wash your hands in the sink and wipe down your hands and arms with a warm damp towel while the other lady didn't. The atmosphere and the music were very soothing and made the experience key to the service. One thing I would consider if you decide to get your nails done here is that if you want more of a social experience then I would go else where. There wasn't any real social interaction with the nail stylists, which if you don't mind that then by all means, come here! Just FYI for those who may enjoy a more social experience. In conclusion, I think that this place is a nice little spot that'll give you a relaxing experience. I believe they are a newer business, so there will be room for improvement. But I enjoyed the experience nonetheless! Here are my points for improvement: * Consistency in procedure with nail techs providing services * More interaction with the client (if that is what a client may want) * Clearer distinction of booking appointments online versus walk-ins I hope this helps!

I was very impressed with this place. I called today for an appt in 2 hours or so and they were able to fit me right in. It was quiet, clean, and peaceful which is actually pretty hard to find in a nail salon. Mai did my gel manicure and the color is exactly what I wanted and she was able to make my nails look really feminine and I know they'll grow out nicely so I can have a longer shape eventually (Hadn't had a mani in over a year so I was all over the place ). I'd definitely recommend them to my friends and coworkers, for sure.

Completely chopped all my nails off during a fill... charge $50 and when I told them I didn't like it and I wasn't happy with it. They told me I should've told them a long time ago and that they would have built off of the nails that they had already chopped off considering they were about 1/ quarter to a half an inch longer before he started going crazy and chopping all the nails down. The lady at the front was so extremely rude when I told her I didn't have another hour or time for them to fix them. They offered 15% off next visit. Save your money and go somewhere else. The arguing alone by the woman in the front left counter was ridiculous. Definitely do not come here. Paint is terrible and they are as inconsistent as nails could ever get. Please... go somewhere else... Update: building off the nail would compromise the integrity of the nail. Soaking and redoing the nail while I'm in there (with my kids on our only day off) wasn't really an option. It was an okay length, slightly shorter than I'd like, but it was workable and as time went on they got shorter and shorter until they became nubbs shorter than even my original nails... The original set with the same guy, was $55 with two nail designs and then $50 to fill, which is whatever, just seemed a bit pricey for what I got, especially since it was such a disappointment, I didn't feel like you were rude... you were VERY rude, you challenged everything I said, didn't listen and when I explained the value of my time you disregarded that as well... then the guy said he would discount it and then ran the card, then said oh no for next time... what a joke read more

Went in to have acrylics removed he just started ripping the nails off. I'm sorry if I am paying $15 for nail removal when most other places are only $5 there should be some prep to not create more damage to the nail. Instead I leave with two bloody nails. Definitely don't recommend this place. read more

3 stars for the dipped nails. They only had about 10 options, the manicurist was definitely nice but I think he's a starter. My dipped nails we're not even , some spot we're missing. However, 5 stars for the pedicure. He did an amazing job, thank you! read more

This place has always been my spot for pedis as the atmosphere is very relaxing, however the last time I went to get a pedi, I opted to NOT get gel & she tells me they charge $5 to take the gel off if I didn't get it! I've never heard of this! It's not stated anywhere on the menu w pricing and services!! I will not be going back I think it's ridiculous that I don't wanna pay more for gel one time so I still get charged!!! read more

One of the nicest nail salons I've been to in the Modesto area. Very clean, nice staff and great quality products. Plus the price for gel mani and pedi are affordable. Yesterday was my first time visiting this salon and I had such a great experience that I will be a returning customer. It was nice to also see the owner present in the store. Overall, I recommend this nail salon to anyone who is looking for an overall good experience. Good parking too! read more

I absolutely love Diana's nail & spa!! I haven't found a good nail salon to go to until I came here!! They are so good and they take there time on all there work. I finally found my forever salon!! Diana and the workers are so friendly!! I absolutely love Diana's expert nail & spa... I definitely recommend this nail salon. If there was more than 5 stars I would definitely give them 10 stars!! I got the spa pedicure, and let me tell you my feet felt SO nice. My legs??? So soft. My toes look so so soooo cute and my dry feet have been rehydrated! The woman who did them (Deena, not sure how to spell it tho) was very nice!! She did a wonderful job!!! Also this place has a stamp card too! So if you get your toes and hands done often, I think this is a great place to go :) I will def be coming back! read more
I'd give ZERO stars if so could. My experience here is exactly why I rarely try new places. I went in with acrylics & my nails were fully grown beneath them, so really long. I wanted to get my acrylics removed & get a Gel manicure. The man sitting directly upfront when you walk in said ok, sit down, we'll take them off. Next thing i know he's clipping them off with nail clippers & using an acrylic nail tip to tip them off. He slowly started adding acetone to help loosen it, but he could tell i was uncomfortable. It hurt so bad & he ripped my nails completely off to the skin on some of them. I could have done a better job & it would have been way less painless. He then walked me to someone else who did the gel manicure, she could tell i was obviously bothered. She asked did he hurt you & I said yes, he really did, she apologized as she attempted to use nail glue on my real nails to try to salvage what was left. Upon leaving they tried charging me $5 for the removal & i stated I did not feel comfortable paying for that considering he ripped off my entire real nails down to almost nothing and it was extremely painful! Then the woman sitting at the front desk said well why didn't you tell him to soak them off it would have taken much longer but you could have said some thing. Basically she was trying to blame me for him ripping off my nails. Mind you, I was never given an option as to whether or not I would like to sit and soak them off or have them "rip them off!" If you need acrylic removed, don't go here. Stick with what you know and go there. read more
In love with my gel pedicure i got the Luxury one for $50 it was $15 extra for gel French tips and that included removing my current gel Polish. I am so horrible because I did not get the name of my girl but she really went in with the massage and it was just a wonderful and amazing experience, she had delicate yet firm hands Will for sure return read more

Went for a gel manicure asked them to soak off the previous gel and he refused. Moved from an electric file to the hand file. 10 second massage on each hand with half a dime of lotion. He was also rough. They were ok when they first opened but now they cut corners. read more

Yesterday was my first visit to the nail spa and it is to notch. Snow White did my pedicure in this private room. It was so relaxing with spa music streaming in the background. A great place for a couples date! Love the ombré nails that ten did for me. They look so classy and elegant! This is a hidden gem of Modesto! read more

Came in on a Sunday morning and was expecting it to be busy, but it wasn't. Got the $40 pedicure and added a flower. It felt amazing and my feet and legs feel great now. It's a bummer that I had to pay $1 fee to use my card. I had enough cash on me to pay but needed a couple extra dollars for the tip. She did forget to give my card back so thankfully I remembered to ask for it. The lady I got spoke perfect English and was very friendly. I live out in Lathrop and was just looking to burn time waiting for my son to go paint balling for four hours. If I'm in the area again I will for sure go back. read more

Diana did an amazing job on my nails. Not only did she take me in for a last minute appointment (plus a was 15 minutes late), but I love that she asked first, "what length and shape do you want". I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me her opinion for the length I wanted and then "nailed it"! I'm so happy with my nails!! I'll be back for sure! read more

I came for the first time about a week ago. Lovely place, and very spacious. It wasn't busy at all. I called ahead and asked if they do acrylic overlay for a pedicure, they told me they did. I only needed it on my big toe since my nail broke. However, the outcome looked horrible. It was lumpy, not smooth, and too wide. I couldv'e asked them to fix it, however I was already there for over two hours with the entire process. I purchased the spa pedicure package which was nice. But the end result was not worth how long it took extra money. I won't be returning. read more

I love this nail salon and their staff! I have had manicures and pedicures done here which I always walk out loving. The attention to detail and professionalism is above and beyond, I highly recommend this nail salon! On my most recent visit I asked for a unique manicure style that I saw online and they did an excellent job! read more
