In a short time, she remarked that she doesn't like African-Americans because we don't mind our tongues. She also removed the $90 price tag. She insisted the dress was actually worth $150 and I would need to pay the difference. When I showed her the exact same design in a different color, also marked at $90, she changed her tune. Suddenly her workers were silly and to blame for such a low number. She begged, "please my sister, let's call it even". Nevermind the necessary alterations for the glaringly obvious flaws. I used that as an opportunity to visit, and I got to explore the rest of the store. They're located in that random giant industrial area that runs alongside Route 1 on the side where the train tracks are. It can definitely be easy to miss, and parking in the lot itself is quite limited. The adjacent street allows parking too, but sheesh it gets crowded. The vintage store is bigger than it may appear from the outside, and there's truly a LOT to sort through. Furniture, trinkets, pillows... you name it, they have it. There were some small tables and stools that almost found a home with me, but I was like... where am I going to put these things?! My kitchen is already being to be overloaded, and I rather not have that same energy rippling through the rest of the house. I ended up seeing this beautiful and vintage black and gold highball and shaker set that fit my bar / living room space really well, and I couldn't resist. I haven't been back in a while, but I'm sure if I returned I'd find something else neat. We'll see!

Was not even in the area and I just happened to drop by here by accident. From outside, you see…read moresome giant crystals in the window display, and that itself is enough to get the attention of those who partake in the elements. I parked a little ways down so I could be about halfway between my real destination and the crystal shop. I stepped inside and was shocked by how big it was! Like wow. Small rocks, medium rocks, big rocks, BIGGER rocks, books, incense, oils, necklaces, rings, spiritual statues... they truly had a lot. What made it even better was the late 90s / early 00s R&B they were playing. This time I wasn't quite on a mission, but it was still such a blast to explore everything that they had to offer. I think there was only one staff member around -- she was floating on the floor and when I approached the register (I did end up finding something) she immediately came over. She was very sweet. I am eager to return and have a more thorough look through everything. Great store for this kind of stuff, I highly recommend!
