    Average selection of clothing and home goods merchandise. There's also a large section baby stuff, a small area with furniture, and a small outdoor selection. Lots of 4XL men's clothing but very few small sizes, alas. I was looking for some exercise machine mats ($10), some gloves ($5), and a weighted ball ($13), which I found so I'm satisfied with finding what I needed. Checkout staff with pink and orange hair carried on a full conversation with her coworkers during the checkout interactions, but there was no line so I was pleased about that.

    Pro tip -When you drop something, pick it up.

    This is great store and I've found some nice deals in the past few years. I stopped by the other day after a long time away and the store was in desperate need to decent, respectful, and considerate CUSTOMERS. There is no way a store would look this way if the people shopping would just pick up after themselves. It's really not that hard and the employees that work here are NOT our maids.

    I went to Ross to look for a small area rug and could not believe that the staff has this store looking like this. After taking this picture, I turned around and left right out of the store. How could anyone shop in this type of environment? Not only is it a hot mess, this is a safety hazard.

    I love shopping! The store is pretty busy but it isn't messy like other Ross locations that I have been to.

    This store is always junkie and the dressing rooms are rarely open. The customer service is poor and the staff is unfriendly

I had been in need of something to use as a tv stand, stand-in in my living room space. I was using an end table for the time being and I knew that wouldn't cut it in the long run. I had stopped here previously and saw an item I thought would have been perfect. But, with it being so large, and me being only me, I wouldn't be able to move this unless I had some help. With a call out to family, I knew I would still be too late for that item. See, the one thing I do not like about these places is that if you purchase, you have a set amount of time to pick it up and take it home. I know I would not be able to secure that item. But, when the cavalry arrived, I was set to go here and make a purchase, even if it wasn't for the item I was hoping for. I am kind of glad that I didn't get that item, because looking back now, it would not have fit in my apartment in the least. I am happy with the two items that I did end up purchasing. For less than $40 I came home with two items, even if I did have to make two trips. I came on a good day here. One thing to keep in mind is check out what tags are discounted even more. One tag will be 75% off and others will be about 40% off. I can confirm that the prices here are outrageous. If it wasn't for the discounted pricing that day, I would have spent close to $250. I did get a deep discount, but if I would have come another day, it would have been a different story. Biggest complaint here, is that when they receive new, unopened items, they really do overprice them. They really go out of their way to make it unobtainable just to keep you coming back.

At the register, Keisha and I ended up having a passionate discussion about Dubai Chocolate and next thing you know I'm leaving the store with Dubai chocolate! (by ForEva chocolate). I was assisted by the Assistant Store Manager, Veda, whose rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior was appalling. As a loyal HomeGoods customer who spent $600-$800 at this location the prior week and over $1,000 at nearby locations, I was stunned by the lack of basic courtesy. From the start, Veda offered no greeting and carried an annoyed, impatient attitude. I came in to return four items with a valid receipt, but instead of helping, she immediately looked for reasons to deny my return. She repeatedly stated: "The description is not for these items," and when I asked her to clarify, she refused, saying: "I'm not going to tell you that" and "I don't have to." This is completely unlike any other HomeGoods experience I've had, where employees clearly explain receipt discrepancies and process returns efficiently. When processing the remaining two items, Veda again checked the system and incorrectly claimed one item was not on my receipt. When I corrected her, she responded only with a dismissive "Oh." She even attempted to break open a sealed box to inspect its contents, despite the box clearly being unopened. The entire interaction was unnecessarily hostile, rushed, and unprofessional. I later called another HomeGoods location. The manager there reviewed the department numbers, confirmed the items matched, and processed my return immediately, highlighting the stark contrast in customer service. Before driving 45 minutes, I returned to Laurel to ask Veda for her full name and title. Again, she was dismissive, refusing to provide complete information and saying: "You are the one with the nasty attitude. I do not care how much money you spent at this location." This behavior reflects poorly on both Veda and the store's management. Good customer service requires patience, communication, and a willingness to resolve legitimate issues - all of which were completely absent. I contacted HomeGoods Customer Service the following day; the representative apologized, documented my complaint, and promised a call from store or regional management within 24 - 48 hours. As of September 3, 2025, I have received zero follow-up. It is alarming that this is not an isolated incident; multiple reviews confirm Veda has treated other customers similarly. Laurel HomeGoods management should understand that experiences like this drive away loyal customers. I deserve a formal apology, but I will never return to this location and will actively discourage clients from shopping there. This is a clear reminder that good customer service is not optional - it is essential for maintaining trust, loyalty, and a positive reputation. Buyer beware: I gave Laurel HomeGoods time to address my concerns, but they failed. Check the reviews - Veda is a recurring problem, and management seems unbothered by her behavior.
