I thought I was going to receive a facial, but the lady did no extractions just poked my face a couple times after claiming I had acne and desperately needed a microdermabrasion done. She massaged my face with moisturizer for 20 minutes and then left the room for 25 minutes while she put on a face mask on both my friends and I's face. Both my friend and I did not feel that the service was worthy of an extra tip added, so we were going to leave. As we were leaving both the owner and another lady were like "wait what about the tip?" They then proceeded to come out from behind the desk and claim we can't leave until they see they receive the tip through venmo. We were both so confused because we said we would tip when we leave through venmo. All in all, I do not recommend this place whatsoever. They were so pushy with their services.

Tipping is optional something your owner needs to get through her head. I've never wanted to leave a place so bad. Moisturiser facial is what they should call it. RESPONSE TO BUSINESS:…read more Let me get this straight, you are blaming me for your expired products and rude staff? Really? I was 100% given a hard time during the return process. The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument. To top it off, the facial caused a horrific breakout. I won't be returning and would caution others before spending money here.

How to feel like a Queen without selling the Castle…read more The reality of another year's passing brings joy, cake, song, and unfortunately a line or two. Most of the time family, work, and the day-to-day chores we place before us, make the moments we have to relax are ones to savor. At the suggestion of a good friend, I decided to try something new to remove some dark spots given generously by the sun God, this led me to Dr. Kaga. Located in Marlboro, NJ I had family come along for moral support since I was entering unknown territory. As we parked and made our way up the stairs, I felt the anxiety slowing rising as I pulled open the door, and what I found inside is nothing like I had imagined. The center is clean and bright and not in an antiseptic way but a classic, and regal design. Every aspect of this center was orchestrated to reflect beauty, inside and out. The main room, with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls, has at its center a white leather reclining chair, bright flickering chandeliers, and gold and crystal accents throughout. The whole Queen of the castle Vibe from your first moment. Dr. Kaga herself looks at you like Michelangelo viewing the clear palette of the Sistine chapel and she captures each angle to ensure that your results not only meet but surpass your goals. Dark spots gifted by the ravages of time, with the steady hand of Dr. Kaga and the Pico Genesis laser start to fade away as a new fresh face emerges, still you but brighter, lighter, and clearer. The entire team of Doctors, PA's, and medical personnel especially Dr. Kaga and Sonya made this an hour to uncover a brighter face, hiding below the sun-damaged one. If you want to feel like a Queen without being taxed like a subject, this is the place to go. The Kaga Institute gave me the crown back!

This meant that not all of the products were available yet, but the employee assured me that everything would be in stock by the grand opening. As I browsed the store and checked out their new store, I inquired, if the Ulta Beauty store at the Freehold Raceway Mall would still exist. They assured me it does. Personally, this location is easier to get to than the one at the mall as it is next to Trader Joe's. I can shop for groceries and my beauty needs in one easy drive. I wish them great success as they are a welcome addition to the community.
