I started here almost a month ago. I have been a member of various gyms over the years, have done…read moreboot camp, have had a personal trainer. But this time around, ,I was really looking for something different. My sister in law had done this program at another location and had great results. I talked to her beforehand, so I knew the pricing and how the program worked before I made my initial appointment. I can honestly say that this is one of the best places I've worked out. Is it huge? No. Does it have all the amenities of a big gym? No. But to be honest, what I needed was someone to push me a little harder, get me on the right track and hold me accountable. And I needed to feel comfortable. I get all of the above at GISFW in Braintree. After reading reviews on other locations (which I looked at before I joined) I realize that your experience can really vary depending on the staff. Now that I'm a member, I can say that the staff is probably 75% of the reason why I'm happy here. They make me feel comfortable, they know me by name, and they push me, which is what I needed. Nikki, Gina and Tomaso are all really good trainers. And Maria (who owns it) is always smiling and helpful. You know she cares about her clients. Can I do this type of program on my own (30 min strength/30 min. cardio) and follow the nutrition guidelines they gave me? Sure. But I honestly know that it wouldn't be nearly as effective and I wouldn't stick with it so consistently unless I was here. The location is convenient for me. Parking can get a little tight on street but there is a municipal parking lot just down the street. Overall, I can say that I have no regrets!

After treatment the child was in pain for a couple of weeks and my cousin decided, and rightfully so, she couldn't use the rest of the package. She asked for a refund and was told she couldn't get one but instead she could m use it herself for up to one year. My cousin was not interested and I suggested she transfer the package to someone else if possible. She contacted the owner to explain and ask if a transference was an option. The owner said yes but the new party would need to pay $100 for a consult. What??? $100 is paying for the colonic, lady. She is attempting to gouge people and it's so messed up this is what we do each other. How do you prey on a desperate mother and then have the temerity to think she's going to then hand you another person to take advantage of. Don't go here. Go for someone more ethical and less heartless. I wouldn't trust this kind of greedy spirit.
