I had sought out professional advice in the past from running experts, chiropractors and other active recovery resources but no one had the solution for me. Even with my own remedies of RICE, rolling/stretching, dietary changes, massages, and medications the injury persisted. It had gotten to a point where I couldn't even run without 7/10 pain or more. If you are a hobby runner you can imagine how devastating and deeply frustrating this feeling can be. She assessed the damage right away and gave me professional no nonsense advice. She preformed an assessment of my injury and we did a gait analysis together. She set me up with modern exercises/tools and a plan for physical therapy sessions. Most importantly she encouraged me to make an appointment with her top choice podiatrist so we could quickly and accurately resolve my issue. These were all steps I would not have taken without the accountability and her guiding hand. Gabby took my injury extremely seriously and I followed her lead. She has the ability at her practice to incorporate strength and physical therapy in 50 minute one on one sessions that are uniquely different from traditional PT offices. She is able to offer the proper customized attention that an athlete needs to literally get them back on their feet as smooth and quickly as possible. We left a couple of messages on their voicemail before we took a Lyft to their office. Yelp showed their office opened at 7am. Jose, the security guard in the building was friendly as we waited patiently for a call back. The remote receptionist returned our call around 7:30am and said the earliest appt would be 8:40am. We took it and waited patiently... IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Colleen gave my daughter: Exam Adjustment Massage Laser red light Dry needle acupuncture ... exercises to do at home. She said that she would like to see her again in a couple of days. My daughter's neck flexibility and SMILE at the end of this appointment said it all. You felt like part of a family. Staff knew you were in pain, and they shared the same kindness, patience and understanding. Things have been very different since the staff turned over. The practice makes sure you are in and out as quickly as possible. You feel rushed. Doc says very little. His adjustments feel mechanical. He has no interest in having a conversation. He stopped listening. He goes through the motions and you're on your way. Staff is running the practice as if it's some kind of med spa. There pushing these different devices that are more like cosmetic treatments. And boy are they pushy, pacifically the one older woman on staff the billing clerk. Good luck with that one, especially if you are a female she will make sure you are rushed through your adjustment. If you aren't interested in the cosmetic procedures they're pushing as med spa treatments, expect to be treated poorly. This used to be a solid medical practice dedicated to caring for there patients. Now it feels like all Doc cares about is making money. Doc no longer cares about making people feel better. I expect more from someone who is treating me when I'm most vulnerable, when I am in pain and I am suffering. Just because I have been injured and can't afford fancy med spa treatments, I don't feel like staff should be looking down on me. We miss the old staff, and we miss the old Doc. It's a shame Doc is only interested in making money now. A once great medical practice has been ruined by vanity and greed.
