Dear "Jenna" aka Morgan Madison. In regards to your tactful review below. There are a couple of misconceptions. First let me start by apologizing for the experience it seems you had. That being said there were errors on your end when booking your appointment. There was a huge communication error in regards to exactly what and how much work you wanted done, upon trying to fix and resolve the problem and come to a resolution you were informed how much more the cost was for what you wanted done. At no point was there any reason to yell profanity and hang up on our manager Leigh. I'm not sure you will find any stylist to do a $150 hair extention service for $20, if in fact, if you do chances are you're going to get what you pay for. No one here believes they are a "top Hollywood" stylist, however we do take pride in our work and have high standards of course. That is what you would want and expect from any professional you hire to do any job. Frankly it's appalling that age and insults are part of your review as neither are relevant to what took place. In our opinion it is always a sad day when we loose a potential client regardless of the reason, but it seems in this case it wouldn't have been a good fit anyhow. Just had my nipples pierced by Eric at Be You Studio and what an awesome experience! He made sure me and my people were super comfortable, and he worked with me to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it to make it not just a professional and skilled piercing but a full experience. The piercings were a gift for my husband for our 15-yr anniversary and we were so comfortable at Be To You, we knew we could kiss and be romantic and take pictures of the process and not feel weird or anything. It got to be our experience. Plus Eric is so chill and professional, he was just really easy to work with and did a fantastic job explaining things. He even explained things that made me realize I had done some stuff wrong for aftercare with previous piercings. I was really impressed with his knolwedge. He was also really good about just communicating while he was prepping things and explaining how it all worked and what you could do to help it be easier. Then a little bonus was that he new some really neat spiritual stuff about piercings and about how different piercings can affect your energy and general perspective and growth as a person. When I had my first appointment At Be You Studio I explained what my hair goals were . I wanted bleach blonde platinum hair . Heidi educated me on hair health , I took a few months to prepare my hair for the bleaching process . I didn't have damage from the bleaching and therefor kept my length , only a few inches were trimmed off . Most stylist would have bleached my hair when I first asked and with doing that I would of had to cut 4-6 inches off due to damage , Heidi is not driven by money she has passion and love as a stylist and wants the best for her clients , this is rare . I know every time I go in for a service I will walk out with flawless results . I highly recommend this salon . I not only have the results I want , I have an understanding and knowledge about hair health that i was completely unaware of before . My hair has never been so healthy . Heidi is amazing!!! I have been going to her for a few years now and I won't go anywhere else. I always get SO many compliments on my hair color (she developed an AMAZING red color formulation for me) by random people. She even did the updo for my wedding and it was absolutely stunning!! I had my husband go to her and now he won't go anywhere else either. She will trim his beard, give him a good fade and clean up his eyebrows for a great price! Eric recently did a forward helix piercing on me, too and I would highly recommend him!! He is very gentle and it honestly did not hurt much at all!! This salon is amazing. You instantly get a calm and loving vibe when you walk in the door. It is clean, has top end appliances and furnishings, and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Won't go anywhere else! Heidi is so talented and easy to talk to. She does a FANTASTIC job at everything she does. She has been doing this for a very long time and is easily recognized as the best around. I haven't been to the other ladies there, but I'm sure they are great too. I am not entirely sure but I think someone may have peed in the cheerios of the last person to leave a review. This salon is not only very clean and professional, the talent alone is enough to be impressed by. You don't have to take my word for it. If you need a new do, nails, piercings, etc. You will not leave unhappy. They take pride in what they allow to leave as it is a representation of themselves. This salon is the best I went in for a fade that is usaully sort of difficult because I want to start so short and like to keep it long on top and Heidi McLaughlin nailed it.
