I was a new client and saw great reviews for this place, so I decided to try it out. I walked in to ask questions and show a picture of what I wanted, the stylist said she knows someone who can get it done for me. I went in for my appointment and the stylist was 45 minutes late to my appointment! The process looked great, she put the color in and then finished my hair. My hair looked great when it was washed (wet) and as she was blow drying it, I could see the results. Let me tell you, I wanted to cry! My hair was ruined and it was not at all what I asked for. She ended up telling me "well this can't be done in one day." So then why not make me have another appointment to finish it? I'm sure she was trying to finish up because she had another client right after me. I ended up having to go to another hair salon to get my hair fixed. Allyson was fantastic! I had a wonderful and relaxing time while she transformed my hair! I had a full foil done, also a haircut and she did an amazing job styling my hair. Lavish is a beautiful and inviting place to get a brand new look or even a touch up. There was also a small shop of fun items on one side that was cute, also had some beauty supplies for sale as well. I will be back to have Allyson work her magic again! I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went to see Amanda Troxell to get my hair lightened and toned to an ash shade. She bleached my hair to an orange shade and then used a toner which left me with extremely bright orange brassy hair! My absolute worst fear! I paid $200 to have my hair turn orange! I asked her to fix it and asked for a discount because it's what I had come in for in the first place. She responded VERY rudely and said she's offended that I ask for a discount because my hair looked fine! Even tho I have pictures of how bright orange/yellow it is without an ounce of ash!! She then said it's a process and can't be done in one visit which is not true because I see professionals do this all the time and she never mentioned a second appointment to finish my hair at all. I requested a second appointment myself - willing to pay full price to just get my hair fixed and looking decent so I can face people. She later randomly texted me to say that she canceled my appointment and booked someone else in my spot and I can find someone else to do my hair. I am absolutely shocked by this horrible service. Now I'm left with bright orange hair and don't know where to go to get it fixed or more like finished what Amanda started. read more

All of the ladies are amazingly sweet and so professional! The salon is beautiful inside and a very relaxing atmosphere. Rochelle is a balayage artist. I've always had bad anxiety getting my hair cut or colored but ever since going to see Rochelle at lavish, I no longer have anxiety about it because I know I can trust her or any of the other ladies there to make my hair beautiful. Not only that but Rochelle is always completely honest what she things my hair can handle and the best way to keep it healthy. ( I have very finicky fine hair) they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for and that's service that is nothing less than absolutely amazing work.
