I usually get my mani & pedi at the same time but my favorite pedicurist is on vacay! The quality of my nails is always SUPERB and no chipping or breaking. Jana suggested a long time ago to get gel instead of regular polish and the techs do let you know when something you chose hasn't had good results. I appreciate them for doing so, but also maybe throw it away? lol They used to have a hard time saying "no" but as a regular I can scan the room and tell wether or not I'd be squeezed in. This place is really appointment only unless they're having a slow day. FYI: If you're a walk in and the say they have time but you see 5 people waiting and 3 techs, you should go about your day. With any salon, ALWAYS ASK PRICE BEFORE WORK IS COMPLETE and stop being afraid to say you don't like something. read more

This is my fourth time having my nails done here. I requested a Mani/Pedi and came in about 10 mins early. I was sat promptly. I had to re-iterate four times that I only wanted clear gel, nothing more. The Pedicure itself was wonderful, even if they gave me an upservice I didn't ask or want. The older gentleman who was my tech then tried to get me out, and was very upset that I asked for the Mani part of the Mani/Pedi appointment. I provided him with nail color and a visual of what I wanted (Nude matte nail in a softer rounded almond shape). For reference, I had medium length natural nails. He then cut me square and to the quick in the fastest way possible. The polish was a decent match, but streaky and lumpy and wasn't cured properly. I was left with jagged edges along the nail , and bits of polish everywhere. The matte finish wasn't placed properly with chunks of shine everywhere. In the end, it looked nothing like what I requested. Then, I was charged for a full price Manicure but only provided with a gel polish change. Overall I spent $107 for a partially completed Manicure and a decent pedicure. I will not be going back. If I could, I would have refused payment or asked for a partial refund. The work was shoddy, rushed and I had to keep telling the tech multiple times what I wanted, even after providing a very good visual. read more

ive never felt more ignored and unvalued before at a nail salon. I called earlier in the day to make an appointment. i asked to come in at 3 but they said no and to come in at 4 which i did. i sat waiting for 45 minutes on a sunday when all the nail salons close at 5 so i had no choice but to wait for them to be ready. a man came up to me asking what i wanted and when i was trying to explain a question i had i was repeatedly cut off and wasn't listened to. i will never come here again. the cherry on top was someone else coming in and getting seen immediately right next to me. they tried to reassure me that the person that was supposed to do my nails was almost done when i was trying to leave but i had enough. horrible customer service. read more

Tom saved my life yesterday!!!. I'm visiting from Vegas and had a nail emergency late afternoon. I broke a nail at 6pm just hours before I was dressing up and heading out to a Jazz club in b-ham. When I walked in the team was soooo nice. Not only did they agree to do my repair, but they stayed open late and gave me a fill and a pedicure as well!! I was in town and wanted to get a pedicure with my daughter. We got there at 10am and they took us as a walk-in. They didn't seem very busy at all which was nice. The inside is nice and clean. We sat with our feet in the foot bath for 45 minutes before someone came to do our pedicures. I had the very old man who must be in his 80's. Right away he cut my big toe nail at an awkward angle on both sides and I knew it couldn't even be fixed. I just watched as he did a very poor job but tried not to let it ruin my time with my daughter. I had to ask him to use the grater on my heels as they were pretty bad. He told me "you don't need!" I asked him to please use it, he used it on only one foot and argued with me that the other one didn't need it. My pinky toe hits the toe next to it so I asked him to use the foam toe dividers like everyone else had on and he said "you don't need it!" I told him I'd prefer it and he seemed annoyed and put them on. He did a horrible job painting my nails, shaping my nails and I had nail polish on my skin around my toes. He didn't even use the tool to clean under my nails..I was really disappointed. They charge $40 for a basic 30 min pedicure which is crazy. This man should not be doing nails! The nail tech next to me was looking over the whole time as if he could tell the man was doing a bad job. I said something when he was done and I believe the owner came and tried to fix what he did. The nail couldn't be reshaped but she put an additional 2 coats of polish on my nails which means I now have 5 coats of nail polish on which will inevitably start chipping off sooner. They gave me $5 off which I appreciate but the whole thing was a bad experience. It also took 2 hours! We asked for the 30 minute classic pedicure at 10am and left at 12. I understand they "tried" to fix the problem but they could've done a way better job to fix it and honestly shouldn't have even charged me as my nails look horrible! I won't be back... read more

She worked for two hours to make my nails absolutely perfect and only charged $60 for a full fill with katseye design (which I feel like is a steal for the quality she put in.) Offered to add tips to two of my natural nails that had broken without me asking, did gel air brush, and nice manicure for $60 which is super reasonable for the nail art I asked for. Lots of places complain if you ask for anything remotely complicated even though they advertise it and here everyone was very nice and helpful. Honestly one of the B E S T pedicures I've had in a long time. Everything was very clean and everyone was friendly and kind. The actual pedicure was amazing. I got the collagen pedicure and my husband got the jelly pedicure for his rough, dry, cracked feet and everything was so luxurious feeling. Randomly needed my nails done today as I was visiting family in the area. This place is next door to a very good Thai restaurant and I always see it when I visit. I called ahead to see if they had time and luckily, they did! Michael did my nails and he was great! Very professional and detailed. I liked how they had the gel polishes displayed - it was really easy to see the colors and pick the one you want. Overall great experience and I would return! read more

Made an appointment for mani/pedi ON TWO different occasions, once w me and another w my friend, after doing the pedicure,which was the least time ever spent on a "spa" pedicure I ever had w a few seconds only of a light massage and poorest excuse for a pedi, they said they were too busy to do the mani. Worst quality, fastest Deluxe pedicure I have ever received, my massage was 30 seconds and he was way too interested in the Seahawk game than my pedicure, seriously the worst paint job I have ever had and I do my own at home. He didn't file or scrub my heels or clean up my cuticles or clean under the nail. My husband's took 20 minutes longer than mine and his feet and paint job look amazing! We come here all the time and this was terrible service for me, I'm super disappointed, there is paint on my skin and cuticles and parts of my nails aren't painted. I feel awful, this was for our vacation and I'm going to have to redo them at home. A huge waste of my money and time. read more

Really love this place. The vibe is sort of "get-you-in & get-you-out" which isn't always a problem if you plan for it. They are almost always available for walk ins; it helps if you call ahead and ask if they have time for you and, if yes, they'll set it up on the spot. The only reason I give this place 4/5 stars is because occasionally their shaping is a bit off. Not super noticeably, but when you look at them yourself you'll find that there's not much of an apex, the nails flatten on the bed. They do always ask you throughout the service if you like how it looks (polish and shape) so they're usually on top of it. read more

If i could leave a zero, i would. My daughter and i where there for over two hours for the worst pedicures we have ever had. They dont know how to remove gel that they didnt put on. The french tup on my daughters toes looks like a child painted it on. I finally walked out without them finishing my ties. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially those take looking to take their little one on a mommy and me mani/pedi date. The place is not very clean, and the kids chair was broken. The nozzle came off and ended up spraying my daughter. staff didn't speak English very well and had a hard time understanding what we wanted. I wanted a simple manicure without gel polish and we ended up getting that anyways-basically charging us more-$65 for a manicure and two days later my nails are chipping. 2.5 hours later and we left with not getting what we wanted. Timing is absolutely HORRIBLE. I have been here before to get my nails fixed, I booked an appointment the previous day and when I got here, I waited 2 HOURS to go back. There was no one available today so I came back, thinking that that previous incident was just a one time thing... WRONG! I book an appointment for 12:30, it is now 1:20 and when I tried leaving, they came outside to say that they had open chairs. I have 2 other people with me.
