TL;DR Don't hesitate to work with Michael and Jocelyn! I really can't say enough great things about our experience with Beach City Backes when buying a home. When we first reached out, we were really not in a position to buy. We had spoken to other agents, and they were hesitant to work with us because we didn't know if we planned to purchase in the near future or at all. Michael and Jocelyn, however, said they were happy to be as involved or as hands-off as we wanted. Initially, my wife and I did most of the searching because we asked them to hold off sending us any listings. Despite us not reaching out much for the first couple of months, they were still ultra-responsive and very willing to contact sellers/agents, setup showings, and meet us anywhere we wanted, even on short notice. Then, about 4-5 months later, or search heated up. We decided we might be more serious about buying, and these guys really stepped it up for us. They got us in to see some listings that weren't even on the market yet, giving us an inside shot at some homes that would have otherwise been sold before we even noticed them. Throughout the process, we found that Michael and Jocelyn have a strong relationship with all agents they've worked with in the past; that, in and of itself, is a really good sign. Seller agents we met seemed to have all had good experiences working with Michael and Jocelyn, and they seemed happy to work with us because of that. As part of those relationsihps, they also introduced us to some people they've been comfortable with for other parts of the process, like inspectors, escrow companies, and loan brokerage companies. Once we reached the point of making offers, they were really on top of things, putting in the time and effort to both protect our money and give us the best chance of having an accepted offer. Specifically, they were great at understanding what the sellers needed, allowing us to offer with terms that met the sellers needs. The result is that sellers could find our offer more attractive than others, even at the same offer price. In addition to all of this, they understand the business, they understand people, and they will understand your needs. They are absolutely not pushy, really keeping your best interests at heart.
