Facility is clean and inviting. Prices are fair and competitive with the area. Definitely would recommend for training and fun for the kids.

This place is AWESOME! The hourly rate for a cage is steep, but their monthly rates are great! The new look is great!

I pronounced it all wrong and he politely corrected me and said it's pronounced Malachi. We laughed because he stated I wasn't the only one that mis pronounced his name. All in all he was amazing and has a bright future ahead of him! Thanks for the great customer service!

He took a moment because he thought it was a little less online. When he asked "and that's the total with tax?". Normally you hear back a confirmation but instead she said no with tax it's $73.62. Mind you we were at the register to pay not for a price check. My husband was looking at his phone and she blurts out "you want it or not?". We told her yes but I had to explain to her he is just taking a moment to look up the price. Normally someone at the register gives the total price when purchasing not sub total. I walked away once my husband got the receipt and was already a good ways away from the register and she yells out "Good Bye!" In the most patronizing tone. It was the cherry on top for this review. We are all human and can do better but this right here is why online shopping and self check out is putting cashiers out of jobs. Maybe she should remember that the next time she wants to be unjustifiably rude and try to make people feel less than with "you want it or not?". So if you want your intentions to be buy something rudely questioned in front of other guests than this is the place and Jaslene is your go to.

Evidently, this North Redondo park space does not have sufficient amenities to qualify for park…read morestatus? .... is my guess, haha.....so it's called a playfield. IMO, no green space is a bad thing. This space is rustic, not manicured. The grass was lush and loaded with clover. The flower beds were.....um....freestyle. The two benches were covered with leaves. I thought it was kinda cool. In all Redondo parks, no dogs are allowed. It's a shame in some cases, as with Fulton Playfield, because the space is completely fenced & would be a perfect spot for doggies to romp in the grass. (I wonder.....are dogs banned from RB parks due to concern that owners would not clean up after them as they should?) There is the remnant of a ball field, the 2 benches, and that's about it. Except for some nice old shade trees. And the spot was deserted at sunset last weekend. Peaceful. Sometimes, less is more.

I love that this space doesn't even qualify to be a park -- it's a playfield…read more It's a quaint space that several Redondo Beach families use. During the week, I've seen families bring their kids for batting practice or sometimes just to play frisbee. It's definitely something you'd expect from a much more rural place, not Redondo Beach. They've even recently installed a port-a-potty on one end of the field. The grass occasionally grows too long for our taste, and some broken sprinkler heads routinely cause several areas of extremely damp grass. As luck would have it, one of our frequent pick up game participants is good friends with last year's "Redondo Beach Man of the Year." He made a phone call and had the grass chopped down and most of the sprinkler heads were repaired a week later. Just another reason to give Redondo Beach that small town feel.

Whether it be hitting dingers in my Little…read moreLeague Baseball League, playing pick up basketball as a kid against grown men, taking tennis lessons (I was trash at tennis), or running around here in middle school with my group of friends, Live Oak has been instrumental in my growth as a man. Most recently, it's been here for me when I come back from NYC and just want to get some shots up alone. Nothing as cathartic as grabbing the new basketball my Granny just got me, popping my airpods in, and doing the basketball workouts I used to do as a kid when hoop dreams were all I cared about. Something about reconnecting with that part of myself just eases the stresses that come with adulthood. I think that chubby insecure kid would be proud of who I am today, and that makes me smile. It's good to look back at your past and appreciate who you've become... But don't stare at it, or you'll end up staying there. Look back, smile, and keep pushing forward. I also randomly seen Kendrick Lamar doing a prison workout here a few years back. That was a trip lol. THANK YOU LIVE OAK! THANK YOU GRANNY I LOVE THIS NEW BASKETBALL! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews
