The arrangement itself was gorgeous and the order arrived on time. I'm really bummed about the details of the name being misspelled on the card. To spend almost $200 on a flower order that charges $10 to get delivered and then asked for a tip, (which I did tip) just to have important details like the name on the card being signed incorrectly is really disappointing. The name is intentionally spelled with a double ii. If they had concerns over a potential typo, they could have called to clarify. read more

When our regular florist is unavailable we order Sunday flowers for our church from Beach City Florist. They provide just what we ask for, going the extra mile each time. Last week our regular florist was not yet back in town as we had anticipated and we were in a bind because we needed the delivery that same day. Lisa, the owner, was gracious and accommodating. I told her that anything would be fine but she again provided lovely arrangements, delivered as promised. And she already had a full day booked! I think she cloned herself! Well I am giving this place one start only because I can't write a review any other way. I am still in shock from the response that I got from this business, the florist as well as Montee (or however you spell it) I guess he is a manager there or maybe even the owner, well my husband ordered a some roses for me for mothers day, how cute uh? well the green in the arrangement had little bugs on them, first of all when my husband called to tell them that they were aphids on the green the Customer Service rep response was "Oh, is that not what you ordered"? I thought it was funny too. Anyway the florist called me back and she kept insisting that they will deliver another arrangement maybe not today but tomorrow at our place and I told her that I did not want the arrangement, this means that I have to keep those aphid infested plants in my place so they can come and pick them up, so I told her that I did not want them at all OMG this woman needs to change her line of business or maybe just keep herself to make the arrangements because Customer Service is not her forte, she went ahead to tell me well we still need to charge for the delivery and I said, that is fine I don't want the flowers and I guess that offended her because her reply was, "WELL YOU KEEP YOUR FLOWERS AND DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH THEM, THROW THEM IN THE TRASH IF YOU WANT TO" wth is wrong with this person!!! So my next step was to call the owner of the company that is when I got Montee and I should have known better and left the whole incident alone and moved on with my aphid infested day thanks to Beach City Florist, well Montee was telling me that they never get any complains and at the most they get one a year, well if he talks to customers the way he talked to me...probably he doesn't really know what I complain is or he is so short and rude that people just hung up and he doesn't count that as a complain or an issue, who knows! Well my main concern here is the aw full customer service that I received from this business if this guy Montee is the owner maybe he needs to hire people to handle the Customer Service stuff while him and his florist make the arrangements because I do not think they were meant to handle the public, and if they are not the owners I hope the owner of this business realizes that one unsatisfied customer will never forget bad business, and make sure everybody else knows to take your $$ somewhere else where people have manners. So they will refund the money for the arrangement and they are going to come pick up their aphid infested arrangement and they called me to make sure the card that came with it is with the arrangement, and honestly I don't have a problem with that either, but geesh maybe they need some anger management or maybe up their meds so they are able to handle their day.
