The bikes were in great condition and their prices were $30 per hour vs. $55 per hour everywhere else! They are conveniently located right on the Venice Boardwalk and there were super nice people working there. I won't rent from anyone else. Be sure to ride North all the way to Santa Monica Pier! These people are scum, they rented a bike to me at 7 PM and didn't tell me anything about closing time or what time to return it at...i came back at 10 PM, no one was there so I safely brought the bike back to my place I was renting on the beach safely....and I brought it right away back in the morning at 9 AM...the guys working it charged me $120 USD cash...ok sure ripped me off there, cool that's fine. but MAN, this guy charged my credit card $10,000 a few days later after I returned back to Canada and it was so hard to even reach them over the phone to tell them what the hell!! STAY AWAY! The owner is a crook. The service is also very bad and the prices don't match the very low quality of the equipment. We rented a Tricycle and a Hover for one hour. After 30 minutes the Hover's battery was dead and the Tricycle had a flat tire. So we were stranded in Santa Monica. I called the owner who said he would pick us up. After 4 more phone calls and 1 hour of waiting in the sun he finally arrived. He said we wouldn't have to pay for the bikes, and I helped him carry the bikes to his car. When we came back to the store I told him I wanted to see him clear the credit card, but he flatly refused. "We don't do returns", was his only argument. Now this wasn't a return, but a refund for a total failure, but he wouldn't listen. Save yourself a lot of frustration and go anywhere else than this. It doesn't even deserve the one star. read more

Great experience on 6/24. The manager was very hospitable to our group of 4. Two of us were from Texas and he made our bike rental smooth and effortless. He even hipped us to a remix of lil' Pump's Gucci Gang song by one of his favorite artists. The bikes were in good condition and very economical. He also increased my hourly bike rate after I returned my bike, giving me a different rate than what was stated before the rental. Was charged without making a rental. Went back the next day to ask about it. Attendant was abrasive, stated they were closed while still under business hours. Attendant made fist-punching hand gesture while stating he was a computer genius when questioned about the charge. He later justified his actions by stating that black men had threatened to beat him up while he was working. Awful equipment and customer service. Rented a pocket bike first thing in the morning. Bike stopped working 25 minutes into ride. They would not pickup equipment. Had to walk bike back (too heavy to carry and so low that you cant walk back like a bike) pushing off with knees very close to ground. Took 30 minutes for that alone. They so were so not helpful nor sympathetic. Ruined morning since it took up so much time and frustrating. Charged us $17.5. The person claimed he warned us the battery could run out. Not only did he not warn us and lied about it, why on earth would a company rent out equipment which wasnt working properly?!?!
