I had been nervous about tanning as I've been against it and using self tanner for years. I had tanned in my early 20s and stopped after my cousin had a scare. Battling depression I made the decision to try tanning again as it had helped those many years ago. Walking into Beach House, I couldn't believe the beds! Wow things have changed. They mist you?! Lol I was lucky to come in on a day the owner was there. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He talked me through everything and made recommendations to make sure I go slow and don't burn. Each time coming I had met amazing staff that give you their full attention. They talk to you like they are your friend. One of the best places I feel like regardless of what they offer. They are so kind. They are patient and they offer guidance even if you ask them a silly or repeated question. I highly recommend Beach House. I bought the diamond package and am in love with feeling like I'm on the beach getting mist by the waves. Knock on wood I never burnt. Reasonable. Friendly. Worth it. I was in need of a spray tan after my normal person had to cancel. I called and Beach House Tanning said I could walk right in to use their machine or make an appointment for 24-48 for one of their specialists to give a personal spray tan. So I rushed over and was not disappointed. The facility is new and clean. You can tell some things are still getting set up / oriented, but cleanliness is super important. The woman at the desk was very friendly and ran me through my options. She was very knowledgeable on the different steps and add ons. She took me to the Versa Spa and walked me through what to do and i felt comfortable using the machine. My tan lasted basically a week! It took about 4 hours to develop and 12 hours later looked awesome. It was very even too. I highly recommend if you're in the area. It's new and could use some clients! read more

I am extremely fair and pale and never got a spray tan done before. I'm getting married in a month so I figured that I would test this out now and see if I look orange or if spray tans are just not for me. What can I say? David saved my life....ok maybe not my life, but as a bodybuilder, he saved my season! As I was preparing for a show (In New York City, mind you) in late September, I was guided to a tanning salon in Southington- they had high praise and was told that a fellow competitor would be doing my spray tan- GREAT! Someone who knows the industry would be able to do the best job possible. BOY WAS I WRONG! Long story short, I left the salon looking like Kermit the Frog and immediately hit the phones to try and find a location that would take me on short notice, for a competition spray. After making a few (significantly closer) phone calls, I felt out of luck and decided to try calling Beach House, allllll the way up in Manchester (I live in Seymour.) I first spoke to Jose and he said he would do his best to get me in, but had to talk to the owner first. A short while later, and a few games of phone tag, I spoke to David and he was more than willing to help me out in my time of need. He was super friendly, enthusiastic and provided the best spray tan! I returned the next weekend, with my girlfriend, to get us sprayed for another show. Again, David was super helpful, accommodating and graciously waited for us as we hit stupid traffic in Hartford and were late for our appointment. Again, another tremendous spray (this time for both of us.) The FOLLOWING weekend, I made my last visit to David before my 3rd and final show of the season, and, as if it were ever going to be in doubt, he once again hooked me up with an awesome tan. We are judged on overall appearance (that includes tan) so I gladly will credit David for helping me win 1st place at that final show! I can continue on with how pleased and thankful I am for everything that was done, but I will leave you with this. If you are a competitor, in Connecticut and don't want to use the over priced tanning companies at your show, do yourself a favor and get to Beach House ASAP! I live 90 minutes from here, and would drive double that if need be. I'll be going back in the spring, or summer, depending on when my next season begins...They've got a customer for life. I have had an excellent experience with Beach House tanning in Manchester. Everyone that works there have been very kind and helpful, they have offered good advice and recommendations. The equipment is top notch quality and extremely effective. I am looking more golden than I ever dreamed possible. This location is kept very clean and the air conditioning is always perfect. I recently moved to the area from Boston and needed to find a new tanning salon. I've been tanning for years and I've never been so satisfied with a salon before. The staff is knowledgable, helpful, and friendly; the beds and bulbs are new and clean; and you can't beat the prices here. On top of all that, there are little details to be found all around that make the tanning experience more enjoyable, like the adjustable volume speakers behind each bed, a mirror in every room, and the overall design is nice. I've always been a fan of Beach House tanning salons, but since the new ownership in Manchester Store its really taken a new vibe. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere and the store looks so great. I love the new Christmas gift packages they have with tanning accessories and gift cards. I typically stuck to the tanning beads, but since the new solution for the spray tan I'm totally hooked. I tried the booth spray tan and it came out great and smelt good and faded really naturally and evenly. I was really excited when David told me they were going to be offering the airbrush tanning. I went Tuesday before thanksgiving and it came out so great and lasted thru the holiday and i still have a decent amount of color a week later and it has faded so naturally.
