When I entered the store I was approached right away. So refreshing having someone willing to help me. She pulled out outfits and chatted with me. When I was in the fitting room they checked on me continuously. We all agreed a jumpsuit was the best choice. Then I said I needed shoes. They had the perfect match in the store. The Shops offer a variety of women clothing stores to suit almost every taste, there are children+toy stores, eateries, a souvenir shop (and not a cheesy one either)- to name a few. While this place isn't flashy with De La Renta, Karan and the like, the clothing stores- for instance, are exclusive in their own tasteful Sanibel way. Some clothing can be too pink and turquoise for me (think of Vineyard Vines), but then there's the other side of Sanibel that's almost clean-cut with a minimalist feel. As was the case when I purchased 3 different minimalist-styled tops from two of the women's clothing stores in the plaza. Parking is a breeze. Grounds are immaculate. Take your time and venture to the 2nd floor also. In the many years hubs and I've been coming to the island, bringing gifts home has always been easy.

Kathie not only has clothes, but there are also shoes, purses, jewelry, and all sorts of adorable things. Kathie is so sweet and helpful. She easily found our sizes and let us try on some new items she had just received. What fun! I just loved how our purchases were wrapped in tissue paper and placed in the cutest little bags. The store has changed a lot over the years and the selection is not s good as it used to be = lots of lesser known, less upscale brands. As the island has become more popular, the owners are probably trying to appeal to the more diverse clientele. It's nice to have a place to shop on cooler days, or if you need a break from the sun. They also have a decent selection of S'well bottles, jewelry and accessories. Definitely worth checking out if you're in town, and it's a great place if you suddenly find yourself needing a pair of white jeans or a new top.
