It was excellent customer service last time as well as this time! I got a rental car online literally last minute notice right before a holiday. The car that I got is great and they had multiple choices. I did need to modify the rental as I didn't end up needing it two days, the app was really easy to use. I also got a text from them so that I can directly message with any questions. Both times it was quick, kind and efficient service. Do yourself a favor and go online beforehand to fill out the paperwork and the process is super fast! Thank you Enterprise, I really appreciate y'all!

Called THE ONLY RENTAL COMPANY AROUND..... Apparently there is a "call center" situation where there is no communication between them and the local branch. We called, reserved the car, drove there, and was met by what appeared to me as being the most miserable person on the planet. I could have a better conversation with a wet sock. No reservation found, no car available after being told there was one. No one got up to speak with us.....they all just hung out behind their computers. I should have read the reviews. Tony (owner) was an effective communicator - the app worked fine and we meet him 35 minutes out in Duck to grab the buggy and drive up to the 4WD beach another 35 minutes away. The vehicle was a kick to drive. Top speed on the highway is @45 mph (Only a 4-speed) and in the sand we got it up to 35 mph. The 4WD beach is supper long (@23 miles) that you can drive on. We got about 7 miles in and turned around. The entire stretch of the drive found hundreds of parked 4-wheelers with their groups all engaged in various beach activities. Just remember that the speed limit is 15 mph where you can see people (which was most of the time). So build your expectations accordingly - this excursion is not one where you can get the full speed up, but there where stretches where you could throttle up and move around some sand! We needed to go a little further in where the dunes were located that allowed you to drive on them - but were already scheduled for a later event so didn't get that piece of the ride in. There where several wild horses We encountered countered along the way. Tons of friendly people waving at you, because the buggy is cool to look at. Miles of great beaches so bring your swim gear to stop (like we did) and take a dip. The buggy is a lIttle tight on rear leg room, but open and breezy. Remember - no power steering so be ready. Tony will meet you wherever you want with the buggy, but the closer to the end of Corolla the better. It is a hoot, completed a bucket list item for me and my three adult kids and I made another great memory in the Outer Banks- Summer 2020!

Horrible !! When I received my rental car, it was damaged. I took multiple pictures and videos. It was not documented on the rental paperwork handed to me and no walk around the car with the worker. I was told by the worker behind the desk that the damages were in fact noted. Well... what a surprise a month later, I received a bill from a 3rd party representing Avis stating the rental had damaged and I was liable. Of course I had to call multiple times and send pictures to verify the damages were there prior to me receiving it. It was time wasted that was unnecessary because of negligence on their end.
