I​ usually love Beachbreak but recently visited​ to browse the swimsuits, and while the store itself was well-stocked and clean, my experience was unfortunately​ not what I had hoped for due to the interaction I had with one of the employees. The woman who helped me -- an older, middle-aged staff member -- was definitely attentive and tried to assist, but her approach came off as overly forward and, at times, inappropriate. While ​browsing the mixed match hangers, she made loud comments about​ me not fitting the larger cup size. Like miss girl.. don't be saying that out loud for everyone in the store to hear, plus I was shopping for a friend who would have fit those larger cup sizes. JFC, ​j​ust unnecessary​ and plainly rude for her to say. That alone just made me want to leave. Luckily another younger employee came in for her shift and the employee left so that was nice knowing my daughter and I could shop in peace. She (my daughter) said she also felt uncomfortable with her because she lingered so closely when she was shopping the racks. I appreciate helpful service, but there's a fine line between being honest and making someone feel self-conscious. I left feeling more awkward than supported, which isn't how shopping for swimwear should feel. I hope the staff can be more mindful about tone and privacy in the future. read more

I was shocked at first to see that it was open considering that it was the 4th of July and decided to go browse. I hardly ever go looking for bathing suits/bikinis but tried on a couple that were super cute. There were two other ladies in the store and the young employee, Kaya, was very helpful and attentive to all our needs. She (Kaya) went out of her way to bring us other sizes that could fit us and other colors/designs she thought would look great which was very helpful. Definitely coming here again! read more

There's so many choices. I'm glad the staff is there to help. What makes Beachbreak great is their staffs knowledge of the swimsuits. I probably would have tried on all the wrong sizes and all the wrong styles but instead the staff was knowledgeable and guided me to the section that would be best for what I need. I not only found one swimsuit I liked, but three and a cover up! The regular price of one was $160 but I got all three plus the cover up for under $200. read more

Small, local business. Caters mostly To women and girls but has a small selection for men/boys as well. Big selection of sizes and styles. Young women on staff were very helpful to me wife while we were in. I did not purchase anything for myself but my wife has several suits from Beachbreak. They are priced just right, not too expensive but not cheap either. Quality swimsuits also. They have changing rooms so you can check fit and looks as well. They aren't a very big store and there were 3 or 4 other shoppers in there this afternoon, not too crowded though. Plenty of parking on a Saturday though I'm sure it's a little tighter during the week when the other businesses are open. read more

This store is a great find!!! You don't have to pay pricey department store prices, nor do you have to browse through a limited selection of subpar quality and a bad fit from discount retail stores. Beachbreak has a wide variety of quality suits, and in a wide range of sizes. There are two piece sets for $35, and a rack of mix and match sizes for $60 for 2 pieces, or $40 for 1 piece. There are junior suits, which I didn't look through because I'm beyond wearing skimpy 2 piece bikinis. They also carry cute cover ups and some men's beach wear and shirts (thought very limited in the men's wear). The store is in a small strip mall on Winchester, west of the 15 freeway. A bonus is you don't have to go into the Promenade mall to shop here (bonus is you don't have to fight for a parking spot and make the walk into the mall). I discovered the store because It's next door to my optometrist. They also have a store at the Lake Elsinore outlet mall. read more

Hands down the best bathing suit buying experience I've had. Ever. Kaitlyn listened to my extensive wish-list and the even longer list of things to avoid, and she filled my dressing room with options. She was never far when I wanted a different size, or her opinion. When I was on the fence on a fit, she offered truly helpful input. The prices were fair, and the selection was wonderful. Worth my 20-mile drive. Superior to anything I've encountered in beach communities and department stores, where you would expect choices for real-world sizes. I went in for one suit and left with .... more. Even though my teenager didn't find what she wanted I highly recommend Beach Break. The worker was very helpful and understanding with my teen with ASD. She was calm and patient when my teen started to become frustrated and overwhelmed. Helped us to search through the multiple choices they have. Their selection of tops and bottoms are wonderful. I will be going their again for my own suit when the time comes. Most would become flustered around an ASD child going into sensory overload. This place is perfect. Not in the hustle bustle of the mall and not only one size. I feel like everyone would feel comfortable here. They have super cute two pieces, tankinis and of course several one pieces with different patterns and a lot have the built in underwire or optional padding. They even had some adorable children's suits!! I believe it was Anna who helped me and she was amazing! Attentive, helped shop with me and was quick to pull things down for me to try. I didn't feel like I could only try two but I also didn't feel awkward saying no to some I didn't think would look great. Love, love, LOVE this place. You can get good brand name bathing suits at literally a third or fourth the price you'd pay at trendy stores. A while back I had bought an $80 Roxy bathing suit from Tilly's and after wearing it, found the same one here for about $30. This is my go-to swimwear place. Ok, so when you first get there (it's through the arch and across from the costume shop on the left) head to the very back. They call it "The Warehouse". Inside, you will find 8-10 plastic kiddie pools filled with swimsuit tops and bottoms, in every size. Brand names, mind you, like Raisins. Anything in these pools is $10 a piece, if you are lucky enough to find matches in your sizes, or are creative enough to mismatch. If you don't find anything in the back, head up front. Here you will pay slightly more ($30/ a set), and while the tops and bottoms are already matched together by size, the staff has no problem helping you find a large top to go with a small bottom, no extra charge. And while you try on your calvacade of options, you are checked on often by the salesgirls, who are more than happy to go find you that size up-- in case dinner last night is sticking to your hips like it did mine. Why aren't there more great places to buy designer and name brand swim wear that won't cost you two weeks of lay-a-way in order to afford them???? Seriously, this place is Sa-Wheat! You can get brands such as Roxy, Quicksilver and Billabong for half the cost! I really don't know how they can do it, and maybe I don't want to know, but hey this is great. They have a great selection in both male and female sections. Obviously there are more options for the ladies though. Another cool thing about this store is that they have this garage attached to the shop that has even further discounted bathing suits. A little digging is needed in order to find a gem, but hey what do you want for ten bucks. I have bought many swim suits here and received numerous amount of comments on them. I was pleasantly surprised at the wide selection of swimwear here; one piece and two-piece. The prices are great and the styles are really cute. The sales clerk Christina was very helpful and attentive. I am size 12 with a 34G bust. Believe me, it's hard to find swimwear to fit my...needs. ha ha They have a great selection, and even had my cup size!!!! I was shocked =O I found some cute, modest (but not old-lady'ish) tankinis that covered my bust quite nicely with good support. (Underwires and lined!) There is a nice selection of skirts, sarongs, dresses and other assorted styles of cover-ups too. Their prices are surprisingly low. There are tons of clearance pieces as low as $10 each. Two piece sets are $30-60. I got 5 pieces for under $90 with tax, out the door. The tags read $100 & more per piece/set on some of them (manufacturer's suggested retail price) but you'll pay only a small fraction of that. I have nothing but praise for Beachbreak! I'm so happy to have found a place to accommodate my needs. No more settling for ill fitting swimwear! Woo hoo!!! I visited the outlet store location, in Lake Elsinore on Saturday with my 82 year old mom. I have been a "seasonal shopper" for several years... here is why: 1. Always, always have a ton of sale items to mix and match! Fun to create your own individual suit. 2. Huge selection of bathing suits, dresses, hats, board shorts. 3. The most helpful staff!!! My mom was attended to, brought many optional suits to try on.. they know there inventory, size you would fit in and Celenya is amazing! My parents and I were down in the area for a wedding and I needed a bathing suit for the weekend festivities as the one I brought was small and I knew I would feel so uncomfortable around family in it. Being a plus size girl I have a hard time finding suits that I like and that fit well and that are flattering. (A note: I weigh 280 lbs but hold my weight so well on my body, I still have an hour glass figure in the right clothing and look nowhere near 280. My hips are about 2 sizes bigger than my waist/chest) My parents and I walked in and the owner, Anna, greeted us and asked what she could do for us. I said I needed a suit so she told me "pick a pattern and we'll start there, then figure out sizes and styles." I picked a pretty bright floral pattern and she asked what size. I said I wear a 2X-3X in shirts and a 24 in pants. She pulled three styles of tops out and a pair of triangle bottoms that were size 18. I immediately said those wouldn't fit but we couldn't find a skirt or anything in the same pattern in a bigger size. I ended up grabbing a size 22 skirt in black and took all 5 pieces to the fitting room. Tried on the first top, it fit but it clung really oddly to my stomach so I went to the next one. It was the ruffle top and I fell in love. THEN I tried on the triangle bottoms that Anna had grabbed and lo and behold, they fit perfectly, and I looked GREAT! I knew I was getting those two, but decided to try the skirt on to see how it looked and quite honestly, it looked horrible on me. I'm not sure how Anna does it, but she works magic. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with a perfect looking suit and my confidence higher than normal. GO HERE FOR PLUS SIZE SUITS, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!! read more

I've had such trouble finding a nice place to purchase bathing suits from until I found Beachbreak! You walk in to a large store just filled with all different colors and patterns. Right away Anna, the store associate, began helping me out, finding sizes and different styles. They have so many options I could of spent all day there. Pretty designer swimsuits of different styles for a great price! They had the perfect monokini I was looking for my babymoon with my husband at Hawaii. Along with a gorgeous black cover-up dress and beautiful silver beach flip flops. I would have dug in the pools this time for my own matched set of bikinis, but I was more towards a monokini to hide my 2 month baby bump of a belly. I got so many compliments on my monokini and it really complimented the curve of my body. The owner here is so helpful too, I love her! I bought a suit last year from their outlet store in Elsinore and just recently found this (their main store). I LOVE this place. Suits for every body type & every style. Giving two stars because the swimsuits are really nice and really nicely priced! I will definitely return for that reason, and that reason only. I almost wouldn't have went or stayed. Since nothing is open because of the lockdown, it was the only option. I called and the girl on the phone was a little rude... I thought they might've been busy or something. Got there, and there were only two associates and no people, I wondered why she was so short on the phone when I asked questions about inventory and sizes. I came in and asked if there were any Labor Day sales simply because if there were I would wait and come back... and she replies rudely "Well, we're already an outlet?" This was my first time here... I had no idea this was an outlet... I honestly thought it was a boutique store. So I try on some items, and I kid you not, I look in the mirror, and the associate was staring at me, saw me notice she was looking... Didn't react and walked away?? Wtf?! She didn't say anything, just walked away. So weird. And the other girl came by after and said "Can I get you some larger sizes?" Not can I get you a different size... a larger size. I will give it to her, I did say I just had a baby, so I got multiple sizes... but I thought it was a little insensitive to just be like " Do you need a bigger size?" Idk I probably wouldn't have been as mad if the one girl wasn't staring at me all creepily without saying anything lol. But I do love the prices and selection. Just sucks the experience is sub par. I'm sad... I love being a regular at places, it's a plus if the staff is good. I heard them wondering why someone came in and left after they answered whether they were open... it's the way they speak to the customers. They're young (I'm 23 so not a big age difference) but I've worked in professional settings and I would never talk to clients that way or be so weird especially somewhere people are spending 100's of dollars. We called after finding them online and they were really helpful and nice. We called again to get directions, the girl on the phone was nice again and told us perfectly. They had a wonderful selection and had exactly what I needed after looking for weeks at 20 different stores. They had a really cute set up for their clearance. Wading pools each with different sizes and were clearly marked. The clearance pools were all only $10.00! I purchased one clearance item and two regular prices items which were only $30.00 for one or the set for $40.00. The two girls were really nice and helped me tremendously by pulling everything I wanted off the racks and putting them in a dressing room. I will definitely be going back again! read more

I've been coming to Beach Break for over 15 years (their previous address)....even though I live in Escondido I never hesitate to visit this place at least each season. Everything from flip flops to sundresses to board shorts to high end bathing suits...oh and you can/t miss the plastic pools filled with inexpensive tops or bottoms to mix and match! At this time of year it is very difficult to find bathing suits at the mall. Beachbreak is open all year and has a huge selection of bathing suits and coverups. They have a great selection of swimwear for all sizes when you're in need of small sizes for the bottom and large sizes for the top, which is SO very difficult to find in traditional stores.
